This was a special treat for my birthday by the children. The stay was for one night but I bought another night before we left for London. Booking an extra night caused a few issues for the hotel but they resolved it very quickly and most importantly to my satisfaction. The room was very good as was the view. The... More

Quick one night visit to London. Hotel was smart, clean and the staff very friendly. Rooms were spotless, as you would expect from a Hilton hotel. Breakfast was fantastic. The sky lounge bar is worth a visit just for the views, but be warned the prices are extortionate and you can get most of the same drinks in the lobby... More

my daughter, grandaughter and myself stayed here for one night as we were attending an event at the o2 arena, We arrived at about 1pm but our room was not ready so we left our bags and went off to the event. When we returned at 11pm the luggage area was locked up and we had to wait about 20 minutes... More

The location of this hotel is great and the buffet breakfast is delicious. Unfortunately, the service and its rooms really do let it down. I stayed at the hotel on a Friday night and, as I was going to be checking in late in the evening, I rang ahead to request a quiet room. I thought this would be a... More

Friendly staff, clean hotel, friendly guests too :-) Breakfast is worth every penny! Roof top bar is very popular, bar staff rushed off their feet, but were ready to serve the next customer with a smile. Perfect location. Loved every minute.

My 3 year old son and I stayed one night here ahead of our flight from T5 the next day. I managed to get a great last minute deal which included a lovely buffet breakfast. I was extremely happy with the quality of the hotel and one staff member in particular was very helpful on the front desk helping us... More

The staff at this hotel clearly enjoy providing excellent customer service. The rooms are very clean and provide nice extras: robes, slippers, hair dryer, tasty biscuits with tea set, etc. Excellent air conditioning -- not all hotels in UK have this. My phone charger died on this trip and I was loaned a charger multiple times. Great recommendations for restaurants... More

I stayed here with my 17 year old nephew. Hotel staff very friendly and attentive. This hotel is located about a block and a half from the Tower Bridge. We stayed here for three nights total. One night on our arrival to London and two nights before we left Europe. The hotel upgraded us to the executive floor upon check in. The rooms were nice on the 9th floor but very small. The shower was... More

I would only recommend this hotel if you are on a business trip and won't be in your room except for couple of hours a night to sleep. The rooftop bar was really nice with amazing views of Tower of London and tower bridge but the rooms are very small (I was not in an upgraded room) and the bathroom... More

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
