Came here on business, but would gladly return for leisure. The standard double room is on a par with most london hotel rooms - small but perfectly functional....then again, I don't travel to stay in my hotel room all day! lol. The rooms have free internet and Apple tv and pc which was nice. A free cookie on arrival was... More

Happy with the hotel and location. Would have scored fours if not for- - the woeful staff in the executive lounge especially the dark haired lady with the strong (Spanish?) accent. She is not suited to the hospitality industry - also some executive lounges work and some don't . This one doesn't. - the conversion of the rooftop at to... More

Spent a night here when visiting the Rtitz for lunch. went to drop off bags early at midday and surprised at the number of people already queuing to check in. Hotel did well in my opinion to process people, efficient while managing to make the process personal. Had upgraded to Executive suite but slightly disappointed. Was supposed to be a... More

We had a lovely three night stay in June, this hotel is in a great location, the room was spacious and very well equipped. The staff were pleasant and attentive, arriving after a long drive to a warm cookie and water were a very nice touch, we didn't eat at the hotel as there a lot of good places near... More

We had a wonderful stay in June! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The price was reasonable and our room had all of the necessary amenities, including free wifi in the room. The location is great... a short walk to the underground, tourist double-decker buses stop close by, and near plenty of restaurants and the Tower of London. The... More

I loved the hotel. Very spacious and clean hotel. Good mattress. There is a nice place where you can have breakfast or dinner. You can put the bill at your room. Close to subway and nice neighberhood of London. The bar is a nice extra were you can have a drink with a great view

Stayed here with my family on vacation. Facility was very nice, and the breakfast had lots to offer. Very convenient to the Tower of London, underground station, double decker tour bus stop and many restaurants.

Stayed on Tuesday night. Late booking so not much choice but fell on our feet. Very nice room including an upgrade. Well situated and stocked exec lounge. Wonderful breakfast and bar with magnificent views. All this and HHonour points to boot.

When I went to London for the very first time in 2012, my family chose this hotel for its position and even cause we were looking for something a bit fancy..Let me just tell that since then I've been to London several times and stayed in other hotels (some were by Hilton as well) but I've NEVER found something like... Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
