Reasonable prices, helpful staff, clean, smart decor and the rooftop bar is to die for. I've stayed now for business and pleasure and I can't fault the place. I've stayed with work and stayed twice now with my partner for weekends away in London and I find myself recommending this hotel to all our friends!

Great experience and love the location. Sky bar has a great view, sometimes a bit crowded. Food was very good there. Staff is very efficient. In walking distance to many of the sights located in this part of London.

Stayed midweek for a couple of nights on an Amazon local deal.. B&B the breakfast is lovely, lots to choose from & very fresh or hot as is your want. Great location to visit attractions in the city... Close to the Tower of London & the London Bridge, the views from the sky bar on the 12th floor is fab... More

I stayed here in February with a last minute business trip. I arrived and was greeted by the ever friendly staff and cookies. The hotel is easy to find, even if you are unfamiliar with London, although the phone did need to be taken out once or twice. The hotel is close to quite a few stations so getting the... More

We booked a couple of nights here both for business and leisure reasons - both of which this hotel is perfectly suited. On the plus side, it is well situated - close to the Tower, tube and any number of good restaurants. it is clean, the rooms were well serviced and equipped - although the pivoting shower door jumped the... Easy to get to Hotel --tube station couple of minutes walk. Very comfortable beds--room was small but for an overnight stay no problem--well equipped with refreshments, iron, hairdryer etc. Very warm welcome, cookie a nice touch. Public spaces were very comfortable. The Sky Bar was amazing with a great atmosphere--didn't feel it was anymore expensive than other hotel bars. I... More

Good location, modern hotel. Only criticism would be room size and also having a room that overlooks atrium which I didn't like as it felt like being in a goldfish bowl. Staff friendly and a lively breakfast in the morning. The sky bar was definitely worth a visit just for the view albeit a little pricy for drinks.

High end quality hotel centrally located and close to amenities. The tube station is 2 minutes walk away. There are lovely pubs English and German around the corner from the hotel. The German pub/dinner especially is highly recommended.

Very bland interior, could do with some colour on the walls of the corridors. Pleasant lobby and helpful check in staff, hot cookies on arrival nice touch.Sky bar comfortable. Dreadful breakfast, cold and overcooked, plates not cleared away. Would not visit again

Came to see the London marathon so the location was perfect. Could not have wished for better service and friendly service. Taxi rank outside the hotel ideal.Would stay definitely stay again.Only negative point is that the accessible room is at the furthest point from the lift.

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
