I booked last minute for a theatre trip with my wife. The hotel is small and clean but a bit sparse. The heating wasn't working in our room and we were moved to another room when we returned from the theatre. The bar in the hotel was closed at 10pm on a Saturday night, which seemed a bit odd. Not... Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review of your stay, we appreciate all comments and opinions. I am sorry about the heating situation, one of our boilers had a frozen pipe and being 6pm Saturday night we had to make emergency plans for the guests we had. We hope it did not cause to... More

OLS is ideally located for doing stuff in central london. It is comfortable, clean and quiet. It lacks a hotel atmosphere, but then is more like a collection of rooms. Not sure about the shower in the bedroom, but it depends who you're staying with. A pleasant stay, and didn't have the breakfast.

After being a little apprehensive when the website stated closed for refurb in January, I must say I was extremely impressed! Quite small but what you would expect from the amazing location... Very well dressed making use of all areas of the room...

Excellent location right in the thick of things in Leicester square. I stayed in room 201, king bed with the bath being in the bedroom. There was a pane of glass to prevent the shower from splashing too much onto the floor. I booked via Priceline and got a pretty reasonable all-in rate. I would absolutely stay here again if... More

Really good location. Room was fabulous despite the bath being in the bedroom. We were quite surprised at the bar area and breakfast area not being great. The bar staff were leaning on the bar with elbows on their chins looking bored. The floor area was full of carpet fluff. The breakfast was great but sadly the plates were cold... More

Me and my partner stayed here for one night teamed up with a visit to the theatre. In an excellent location (one we found it which took us a while). Right on Leicester square near m&m world. We arrived and was greeted by two big bouncers who directed us inside to reception. (1 man and a tiny desk) was a... More

1 Leicester street is a boutique hotel just off Leicester square. The rooms are contemporary, light, fresh and refreshingly different . Breakfast is excellent with a great buffet selection or one can choose a cooked breakfast from the a la carte menu.

Our 'superior room' had a bath room as advertised but no bath. Why not make it clear that it's a shower room? The street noise went on literally all night. When the bars/clubs shut the refuse/bottlebank/other contractors started. I know that it is a busy location but I have stayed in other hotels in similar locations where sound insulation from... We stayed one night in this very trendy boutique hotel located right in the heart of London: Leicester Square within walking distance to SoHo, China Town, Covent Garden, Piccadilly Circus and West End theatres. Welcoming staff at reception. Room was very modern, lovely and clean. Bathtub was actually in the bedroom as seen on photos. Everything was spotless. The downside... More

We stayed for two nights from 5th to 7th September. I couldn't knock the location. It was just off Leicester Square and an easy walk to the Prince Edward Theatre where we were heading to watch a show. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. I believe it was £10 per person which with hindsight was probably worth... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
