This is hard to find, and now they've closed the bar and restaurant to convert to extra suites, doesn't feel like a hotel but some top secret venue to which you have the password! That said, my room was goodish, doing all the important things - bed, shower, mini-bar and treats, cleanliness - well. Quaker style Wedgewood-blue painted decor is... More

We stayed here for one night with friends as we were going to the theatre to see Beautiful, The Carole King musical and having supper out. Such a good location and with the Christmas lights on in Leicester Square et al, it all worked very well. The rooms are a good size, the bed comfortable but having the bath/shower and... More

The hotel is in a great location and is clean and tastefully decorated. Room is slightly above average for London and that is primarily due to the bath being in the room. We liked this but it may not suit everyone. The continental breakfast was well done .The cons unfortunately outranked the pros; the blinds did not keep the light... More

My boyfriend and I spent one night in Leicester house back in October as part of his birthday present. He had never been to London before and the location of this hotel made it so easy for us to see the sights as it is so close to everything! Right next to china town and a 5-10 minute walk from... This is a small modern hotel, it is located very conveniently for Theatreland, Chinatown & very close to Piccadilly, so if you need to be close to any of these this might be the place for you. We are a couple in our sixties, we do not want a bathroom in the bedroom, there is a separate toilet. The area... More

Dear jasper999, Thank you for taking time to share your thoughts, we do apologise for the noise. We try to make our rooms as quiet as possible, but due to the central location of our hotel sadly this is sometimes out of our control. I should take this opportunity to point out that there are inward facing rooms that are... More

Turned up and they had no room for me despite having booked through last minute.com and having prepaid. I had travelled for 4 hours to get there. It was a complete disaster for me. They eventually found me another room in the area but normally you would want to rely on a hotel having the room you have actually prepaid... More

Dear Keir A, We would like to take this opportunity to apologise profusely once again for this unfortunate incident. We had a big issue with our reservation system and once we realized the situation a room was booked in a hotel very local to us and this hotel's room rate was more expensive but we happily covered the difference. Once... More

Excellent choice for us for 4 night during the week... we go for the theatre and Leicester House was no more than a 5 minute walk from the 5 theatres we went to.. saving hours on walking and transportation over staying in an outlying area. The tub/shower in the room was OK for us but if you are not traveling... More

The Junior Suite at the top of the building was extremely comfortable, and not much noise being so high up. Lovely bathroom, fluffy bathrobes and slippers. Great location, just off all the hubbub of Leicester Square. We enjoyed the stay, with the exception of the bacon, and the charges, at breakfast. A portion of streaky bacon was literally just strips... More

Beautiful boutique hotel. Amazing room. Very well designed, everything you need to hand and an extremely tasty breakfast. However..... It is in such a NOISY location that for the two nights I stayed there, I only got about 4 hours' sleep each night. Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
