I stayed at the LH Saturday night and left very impressed. Although not advertised in our room rate, we were given a free continental breakfast. The strawberry Jam, coffee and mint tea where particular highlights. Room was well appointed and clean, a very good nights sleep. We were at the front of the hotel overlooking the bar/restaurant area, however the... More

A super central boutique hotel with fab rooms and reasonable prices. Great design, with quirky touches making it really special. Fantastic restaurant and bar, which is open late, too, with sunny terrace to enjoy their cocktails on.

My sister & I (from Australia & NZ) spent several days at LH in May. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. Our rooms (4th floor) were extremely well presented.- beds were comfortable and the L'Occitane toiletries much appreciated. Complimentary continental breakfast was available in the dining room and was more than adequate to set us up for... More

We booked a double room and found that it had little to no natural light. We found that a bit oppressive but to their credit, the management and staff were very obliging and gave us an upgrade to a suite (for a modest fee) and that was luxurious to say the least. A nice way to celebrate our 24th anniversary.... More

On arrival I was warmly greeted by the front of house & was soon unpacking. The Hotel has recently been refurbished & my room was a little gem & well appointed, once I had got over the bath bring in the bedroom but it works. I was unable to try the Restaurant as I had a previous engagement but the... More

First impressions were that the staff were very friendly, we were checked in and informed that we had free continental breakfast in the morning, which we were unaware of. Our room was on the 5th floor and very private. Each floor is only accessible if you have a key card, meaning it is very secure. The room was lovely! It... More

We arrived at Leicester House for lunch and we were instantly made to feel very welcome. The decor was warm, intimate, without being on top of each other and stylish. The menu was a great variety of interesting dishes and the wine list was very comprehensive and reasonably priced. The highlights were the BBQ rump, perfectly cooked with excellent flavour,... More

We liked the look of the restaurant and decided to try it for supper. I was expecting typical tourist London fare and we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the service. The food is Europe-meets-Asia, in little plates designed to share. We particularly liked the steak marinated with dried shrimp. Beautiful flavours.... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
