Stayed 3 nights. Lovely dining room. Very well located in Kensington. plenty of window shopping along the street. Victoria & Albert Museum is directly across the street. The V&A has a lovely gift shop. Breakfast was very good also. Anything you could want. Beautiful bright room.

I was recommended this hotel by some friends who live in the UK so I decided to try it , I was not disappointed the hotel is in a great spot opposite the Victoria and Albert museum only a five minute walk to the tube one way and five minutes the other way to Harrods and other great shops ,... The first room was extremely small with a view of the back of houses. The second room was fantastic, spacious, with a couch, floor to ceiling windows that open and a view of the V & A. However, the bed mattress was very uncomfortable. There were robes in the supply closet, none in the room! Staff was very unfriendly and... More

This 4 star hotel has great atmosphere, and it's location is unbeatable. However, I still got a cozy and comfortable stay experience (also extremely quiet at night) here. Definitely will recommend to my friend!

My husband booked this hotel as a surprise for my 30th birthday. It was lovely. Our room was very spacious and clean. Hotel staff were friendly. The booking also included breakfast - nice surprise as you usually have to pay extra for this. The location is perfect - across from the V&A, 2 min walk to the Natural History Museum,... More

I do not have a lot of experience with hotels in London so please bear that in mind when reading this review. In general, all the hotels we looked at were expensive and the breakfast was as well from our point of view. Having a great deal of trouble finding good breakfast on our last trip to London, we chose... More

If you love having aggressive maids enter your room when you've requested not to, then this is the hotel for you. If you love terrible breakfast that's not worth getting up for, then this is the hotel for you. If you love hearing the arguments & door slams down the hall way from your fellow neighbors, then this is the... More

Dear Lat L Thank you for taking the time to review the hotel following your recent stay. I am delighted that you liked our location opposite the museums, close to Harrods and Hyde Park. This is a first rate property right across the street from maybe the best museum in the world (Henry Ford/Greenfield Village in Detroit might be as good in a different kind of way??), The Victoria and Albert Museum. I booked this hotel for a girly trip with my daughters to celebrate one of their birthdays. The plan was to shop etc on Saturday and then stay at the hotel that night. Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
