The location is very convenient for shopping and sightseeing. I took a bed and breakfast option and breakfast was very good. The reason I had an average experience was down to the leisure facilities. I always filter to a swimming pool or at the very least a gym. This hotel had both but on each occasion I used them, I... More

The location is excellent, near 2 tube stops (knightsbridge and south Kensington), walking distance to Harrods and the Royal Albert Hall and across the street from the Victoria and Albert Museum. Felt secure that your room key card was required to use the elevator to go upstairs. The rooms were a bit small. Front desk staff was helpful but not... More

Stayed here for one night in May. The hotel was well located - at the end of Knightsbridge, opposite the Victoria and Albert Museum. Very handy for shopping and museums. The service was good. We were made to feel welcome on checking in and our bags were taken up to our room by the concierge. The service in the bar... More

Stayed overnight while visiting the Albert Hall. Given an upgrade of room with excellent facilities. Food was good but also huge choice of restaurants in the area. Staff were polite & very helpful. All in all a good experience will be using them again.

So.Ken station to hotel is a short walk, rest of places to see and be seen - Buckingham Palace, Horseguards, Wellington Barracks, Westminster, Trafalgar Sq etc are all in walking distance. Royal Albert Hall... More

Stayed here just for one night (Sunday) for 140 GBP. including the breakfast buffet, which was excellent and plentiful. The hotel is in a fab part of London, just across the road from the V&A Museum and a short walk from Harrods.

Great hotel close to South Kensington tube stop with 3 tube lines. Also conveniently located near many restaurants and shops, most notably Harrods. Hotel staff very friendly and quick to resolve any room issues.

Dear Karen C Thank you for reviewing The Rembrandt, I am delighted that you describe our location as excellent. Exhibition Road was pedestrianised in 2013 and this has led to an increase in the number of restaurants and cafes in the neighbourhood, which cater to all tastes and budgets. Our guests also benefit from great communication links to the rest... More

My husband and I stayed for five nights at the Rembrandt Hotel and we only have positive things to say. The room size was surprisingly generous, the breakfast very pleasant (especially the coffee and the sausages) and the staff was very obliging. The complimentary wi-fi worked flawlessly. We would normally stay in Soho/Covent Garden on our trips to London so... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
