I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights with my mother and we absolutely loved our double bed room. It was simple, but it had everything we needed. The bathroom was very clean such as the towels. The staff are very kind, in fact even if we arrived way too early, they immediately prepared a room for us, so that... More

Avocado bathroom suites are funny. Bath sealant that looks like the last guest did it is not. Dirty bathroom floors are not. 25 year old bedding isn't so nice to sleep in. Chairs where you sit on the frame because the seat sags so much as happens with every seat in the dining room is another reason not to love... More

Stayed here before but felt a need to write a review so you dont miss this gem in Central London. The staff are very welcoming and accomadating. The location is perfect with Kensington Gardens Park just across the road. Hotel lovely and rooms perfect for our visit will definately stay there again and would throughly recommend it.

The hotel service was excellent and very friendly. Credit to the hotel and the staff for that. Our business conferences in the Regency Suite were also good and the hotel met all our needs. The room we stayed were decent, big rooms with huge ceilings and the maids kept it very clean. You could however smell smoke in them which... More

The hotel was very nice. The room was lovely, the beds were very comfortable, the room was just the right temperature, the bathroom was dated but had everything you need, including an plenty of piping hot water. Its location is great, the underground and bus stop are within walking distance and also a pub called ' The Swan is very... More

I stayed here for 10 days and found the hotel to be adequate. I read the reviews here at first and had an idea of what to expect. Yes the decor is a little dated and it would be nice to have dinner at the hotel; but there are a lot of options around you that are within easy reach.... More

We have stayed at this hotel three times. The price is low, the setting superb, the standard medium, but it is well worth the money. It is located right by Hyde park, and in walking distance to Notting Hill etc

Stayed here recently on a short weekend trip. The Hotel is perfectly for basing yourself in a really lovely part of London, central and ideal for tube and buses with Hyde Park just outside your door. The price for the rooms doesn't really reflect where you are so it's a bargain. Breakfast was lovely and the fried bread not in... More

The Columbia is directly across the road from Hyde Park which is a superb location. Its also very close to the Underground and walking distance to some very nice pubs. The hotel was once obviously very grand but sadly it is now rather tired and in much need of refurbishment. The complimentary breakfast had a good selection and very substantial.... More

Ideally situated for all situations. The bus stop is right outside on Bayswater road, the underground stations three of are within comfortable walking distance plus directly over the road is Hyde Park. If you walk straight over the road at Lancaster Gate and follow the path straight across the park you are at the Albert Memorial and the start of... More
