We usually stay at Marriott hotels and have reward card. This time we had a standard room when we usually have deluxe. I would definitely recommend deluxe room. Breakfast excellent and staff very courteous and attentive. Very clean hotel

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights (used reward points). We had access to the executive lounge and enjoyed the appetizers and desserts in the evening. We also enjoyed the wonderful breakfasts, every morning. We especially want to thank Glenora, Hannah, Stephanie, Ali and Stepan-great staff. There was a bag of flavored popcorn in our room... More

Nice London hotel in good location. Close to Glouster Road and Earls Court tube stations. Many restaurants and nice pubs in the area. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. Free wi-fi in lobby area but you can sometimes still get this in your room. Breakfast was okay as was the one meal we had in the evening.

Stayed May 5-9 at this hotel. Beautiful property, very well maintained. Very friendly staff at the front desk--especially Cassie. The Executive Lounge was very nice and had a good selection of foods for breakfast, etc. The hotel location, right in the heart of the Kensington area, was an easy walk to an underground tube station and also to several of... Marriott Kensington is an excellent London hotel. Terrific, convenient location; comfortable, quiet rooms; nice amenities, including full English breakfast in Executive Lounge (which is available to Marriott Elite members). But what really stands out is the exceptional level of staff service; far superior to other experiences with service in London. The staff goes out of its way to anticipate guest... More

It is my second time here - and it felt pretty much the same as the first. Location: If you stay here as a tourist, there's plenty of walking to do if you're in a rather good physical condition: within 30-45 mins, you can reach the Natural History Museum and Harrods on foot. There's also an underground station within 10... More

Was over for a bit before the holidays to spend some time down south with in laws. On our way back to NYC planned a side trip to London to frolic around a bit. We've been many times before so we sought a deal on Priceline and found ourselves here. Hotel room was located off the lobby not up in... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
