Stayed overnight after going to the BBC proms and the hotel was in a close location. The building both in and out was exquisite and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room had a nice decor with the only problem being that the room did not have air conditioning. All in all the hotel was excellent for an... More

Visited with my son, having plans in the South Kensington this was a good choice and made worth the price little up to our planned budget. The room we got was Executive- more beds in fact which opened more space then we expected to keep our stuff, shpping bags, running gear , toys etc.. I don't know what we would... More

We've stayed here many times and always love the traditional English decor of the hotel, history of it, exquisite rooms and quick tube access, but this time we were a bit disappointed in the service. Though only there for 3 days, the first day we realized the privacy blind on one of the very large windows in our suite was... More

We were in one of the Bond Rooms - 001 etc - which are in the basement. At first, I panicked. Turns out - these are the biggest and coolest rooms (temperature) in the hotel. It was a nice, clean large cool room. You can see and be seen by hotel staff and street traffic as the windows start on... More

We have stayed at the Grange Strathmore a number of times now. It has been updated extensively and is an excellent standard now. We had a number of rooms as we were in a group, room numbers 116, 120 and 121. There were two twin rooms and one triple, they were all located on the 1st floor and were well... More

Stayed at the Grange Strathmore for 6 nights with our two kids this summer. We loved the location and the room was a good size for 4 people (chose a family room). It was nicely appointed and clean as well. The main floor lounge was a great spot to have a night cap or afternoon tea and the breakfast area... More

Its such a lovely place - the rooms are lovely and right in the centre of Kensington. Breakfast here is mega expensive if not included in your deal but plenty of cute little cafes around to get croissants etc :)

As per the title, this was probably the smallest hotel room I have ever slept in...everything just felt cramped. The shower cubicle was half the size of a standard cubicle, making washing a claustrophobia sufferers worst nightmare. The TV in the room needed two remotes to operate...one to turn it on, and another to turn over. However, even this system... More

I'm pleased you found the staff attentive and enjoyed your breakfast. As the hotel is a listed building, the former home of the Earl of Strathmore, we are constricted by building regulations. The hotel does have many different room types available, including some very large family rooms. Thank you for your comments. More

Waled up the steps of this hotel and immediately thought WOW, the ceilings and surrounds were beautiful. Hotel staff were so lovely and accomodating (especially the young lady waitress in the restaurant). Had a beautiful meal there and was surprised at how cheap it was for a top London hotel. The room I had was gorgeous, the bed was extremely... More

This hotel is close to Hyde Park and Gloucester Road Tube station - but beware some underground services are not stopping at Gloucester Road in 2014 which we found out too late! Anyway the longer walk to the hotel took us past the V and A museum, science museum and natural history museum which are all close by. The interior... More
