We had originally booked into another hotel down the road, but there was problems with the plumbing or something so they placed us into this one. Initially worried about the poor reviews the place has had on here, I was very happy in the end. The hotel has And still is having its major facelift revamp. Those older photos on... More

I think this is the worst of the worst. Despite the fact that the rooms are ok (ridiculously small) nothing is ok. I m writing this review at 5am because it is simply impossible to sleep. The windows are useless and you feel like sleeping on the street you can even here the telephonic conversation of passer by ... Or... More

Located in a really noisy street. Still in refurbishment. Check in and breakfast in Hotel Royal Eagle across the street. Breakfast there is poor. No cheese or ham (!). First I was given a room where the window didn´t open which they changed after my request.

I was kinda surprise at first,i almost passed it. Its a very small hotel, the worst thing was they were under renovation was elevator was not working. Our room was new, very small but clean and neat. Staff was helpfull. Location was great though, near the main tubes.

Room: 224 View: Gloucester Terrace Pros: - Newly refurbished room (new bed, toilet, tv, etc) - Good location - Delicious breakfast (Danish Pastries) - Very helpful staff - New TV with USB (video capable) Cons: - Check in/out and breakfast at different hotel (actually not much hassle since very near) - No lift with small staircases - Small room and... When I first arrived at hotel, I actually walked right passed it. Simply because it was like a building site and I didn't twig. Once the penny had dropped, I entered the "building site" to be told the hotel was undergoing refurbishment and I would first need to check in using a different hotel across the road. When checking in,... More

Great value for money. Hotel in the middle of being renovated so check in and breakfast in hotel across the road, but that was not a problem. Room was clean with newly refurbished ensuite. Bed comfortable and room relatively quiet. Excellent location close to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. Would definitely stay again.

When I opened the front door I was in shock as the reception was taped off and the carpeting had been removed from the stairs. We were told to go to the hotel across the street to register for our room. We did so and I voiced my concern about the state of the entrance to the Prince William Hotel... More

Location was a bonus but that was it really. Room newly refurbished. Staff said they were only 2 months old. However the window had no latch so every time we tried to shut the window it would just fall down that led to us having no sleep for 2 days because of the street noise. Also the shower doors wouldn't... More

This hotel for £70 B&B. Up 5 floors of stairs with a holdall and rucksack. Bed touching 2 walls, climb over the bed to get to the window. Clean and bright room, toilet light on a movement sensor, blinding in the middle of the night and can't switch it off. Breakfast was across the road, the room was full and... More
