The Holiday Inn Bloomsbury, London is situated near a good shopping court. It is close to the British Museum, but a fair walk into Covent Garden. The nearest tube station is Russell Street on the Piccadilly line. The hotel is clean and well served by staff, however, the room and bathroom were extremely small for a 4* hotel, with no... More

Stayed in a twin bed executive room and everything was as I expected; good size, clean, and welcoming. The wifi was of good strength. The breakfast was fine with all the regulars. The neighborhood offers shopping, nice restaurants, and good connections to London's underground. I would definitely come back!

We stayed whilst on a course in Queens Square. So handy for GOSH, neurology hospital and 2mins from Russell Square tube station (Piccadilly line from heathrow so very easy to find!). Check in easy, public areas lovely and room clean. Breakfast was really really good with a great selection including a pancake making machine and Nutella! also a huge selection... More

Great hotel, great location. Seriously let down by Callaghans bar though. Smells of wet dog..... a lot. Staff unwelcoming if not downright miserable. This place should be a little gem but even the outside seating is pub picnic table awful.

We have stayed here on a couple of occasions now for theatre breaks, and would intend to use it again. The hotel is ideally situated if arriving at Euston station - a 10-15 minute walk, and is a couple of minutes from a Tube station. The food is very good and I got a good value breakfast and dinner package... More

Stayed here a few years ago, room was nice for a chain hotel, breakfast & other meals were very nice but a bit pricey The concierge and the staff were very helpful, but the receptionists seemed to look down on the guests (especially the coach tour guests ) All in all a very enjoyable stay & the hotel is very... The staff here is friendly and extremely helpful; that includes the desk clerks, the concierge, and even the wait staff in the restaurant. If it was just a matter of the people working here, this would be a five-star review. However, the room itself was beset with minor problems: a curtain sheer smeared with blood, drapes that wouldn't close (and... More

Conveniently close to Russell Square tube (2 minute walk) and located in a quiet square. Much like any other HI but good efficient staff and clean. Buffet breakfast and the food in the restaurant was good although a fairly standard range of choices. I was pleasantly surprised by the bar prices- £3.85 for pint of boddingtons!

Clean and tidy, in a good location for the museums etc and an advantage of a car park under the Hotel.Taxi fares to the West End for a show are around £8 so not bad at all. However, make sure you check you bank account for at least a week after your stay to ensure you have not been charged... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
