Stayed in this hotel for a weekend conference at the TUC with a small person. This is not a swanky hotel but it is well placed for Russell Square Tube station and buses into central London. The British Museum is a lovely walk across the park and it is right next to a shopping centre where you can get everything... More

We had 2 nights here last weekend. Got to the hotel a little early for check in but asked if it was OK. Had to wait about 10 mins for a room to be ready. It turned out to be a premium room, so nice. It was larger than the standard room with a settee next to the window plus... More

the room are tiny, yet the service is really very accurate, from the concierge to the front desk all to the way to the bartender. The hotel is very nicely located in Camden, with lots of restaurants and life in the nearby Brunswick promenade, and near many attractions and to the tube. Usually is very expensive, but if you find... More

We thought that at over $300 Canadian per night we'll get free WiFi - no! Otherwise the reception and the breakfast services were adequately efficient. The room was clean and crisp. It is centrally located about 100 metres from Russell Square tube station, and there is free WiFi at a nearby Starbucks.

The Holiday Inn Bloomsbury, London is situated near a good shopping court. It is close to the British Museum, but a fair walk into Covent Garden. The nearest tube station is Russell Street on the Piccadilly line. The hotel is clean and well served by staff, however, the room and bathroom were extremely small for a 4* hotel, with no... More

Stayed in a twin bed executive room and everything was as I expected; good size, clean, and welcoming. The wifi was of good strength. The breakfast was fine with all the regulars. The neighborhood offers shopping, nice restaurants, and good connections to London's underground. I would definitely come back!

This hotel is in a good location. Stay started off well as I was allowed to check in early. Rooms seem fairly modern and the breakfast was good. However I'd be unlikely to stay here again because it was so noisy - and the reason for this is because there was a huge gap at the bottom of the door... More

We stayed whilst on a course in Queens Square. So handy for GOSH, neurology hospital and 2mins from Russell Square tube station (Piccadilly line from heathrow so very easy to find!). Check in easy, public areas lovely and room clean. Breakfast was really really good with a great selection including a pancake making machine and Nutella! also a huge selection... More

Great hotel, great location. Seriously let down by Callaghans bar though. Smells of wet dog..... a lot. Staff unwelcoming if not downright miserable. This place should be a little gem but even the outside seating is pub picnic table awful.

We have stayed here on a couple of occasions now for theatre breaks, and would intend to use it again. The hotel is ideally situated if arriving at Euston station - a 10-15 minute walk, and is a couple of minutes from a Tube station. The food is very good and I got a good value breakfast and dinner package... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
