Second time we have stayed at this hotel, ideal location for Kings Cross (walk 10 mins) and Tube Station around the corner. Hotel is very clean, friendly staff, breakfast sets you up for the day, plenty of choice. Like all the Holiday Inns we have stayed you know what you are going to get, keep up the good work and... This hotel is O.K. but be careful, they try to give you first the smallest double rooms they have, tiny little rooms which they hide and don't show in any site, smaller than you can even conceive! At first, when we asked for a normal room they said they have only executive rooms for an additional charge of GBP20. After... More

I stayed on business at the tail end of March. I checked end a little after 4pm and advised the receptionist that I would be amending my 4 night booking to 2 as I had to attend a funeral back home. I was told that there may be a charge as it was after 4pm. I said no, I just... More

The Holiday Inn Bloomsbury is in a residential area which was a nice escape at the end of la ong day of sightseeing. The rooms were spacious and clean. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The concierge, Gary, made our stay exceptional by taking care of any reservations or recommendations needed, saw after our luggage, and arranged for... More

This is about the 8th time we have stayed but standards seem to be slipping ! Great location for bus / underground etc -10 minutes walk from Kings Cross Sation However our triple room was very small, there was only towels / cups / toiletries for 2. 3rd bed was very difficult to pull out. Not having eaten in the... More

The room wasn't anything special, but everything else was excelent. A next-door pub with a big screen to watch football with, fantastic beer and a hillarious 1 metre long bratwurst challenge was the highlight of our day. The breakfast was a traditional English Breakfast buffeé. The food was tasteful and the service was very good. Me and my friends came... More

We stayed here to be near to London City for a quick weekend visit and we weren't disappointed. The hotel was very central and the rooms we had were clean and very quiet. The staff were very friendly. Plenty of amenities near by. Would recommend this hotel to everyone who wanted to be close to the city

This is the third time we have stayed here and if anything this one was slightly better than the previous very good stays. The situation is central, without being in the more densely populated area. The room was a decent size, clean and comfortable. Some noise from the street outside - building works. There were more staff on duty for... More

We stayed for two nights at this hotel over bank holiday. The hotel is situated in Bloomsbury, not in the centre of London but close enough to walk or a taxi will cost you £8-£10. The Ncp car park next to the hotel will cost £2 an hour or £17 for 24 hours The hotel has a boots, superdrug, costa... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
