We had no problem finding the Hotel " its just round the corner so to speak" from Paddington tube station, the hotel looks nice from the front and inside, the reception lady was very helpful and let us in to a room untill ours was ready. We went out for the day, sight seeing and to a Burlesque show at... More

Norfold Plaza hotel is not quite "plaza" as it may advertise itself. It's a small hotel near Paddington Station, Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. Even thought the hotel is small and somewhat hard to find (there are dozens of as small hotels on almost every street nearby), it is easily accessible from the Heathrow Airport by train and has good... From the moment I stepped into the Plaza - I was greeted by a very unprofessional reception desk unprofessional receptionists, no name badges and scruffy uniform, looks like they had just came to work in their own clothes if i'm honest... we were not asked for a newspaper, a wake up call nothing. We were given the keys to our... More

Over the last year I have spent the best part of 4 months at the plaza. It is well located . The staff are fantastic. The rooms are basic but functional. Thing is your in London to see the sights . If you want a grand suite go to a grand hotel . If you want some where to park... More

(March 30-Apr5) My son and I were with a tour group and stayed at this hotel as part of a package deal. The carpet in the room was thin and worn ; the curtaiins were old looking and the sheers were off their hooks in several places/ looked like they needed to be retired. There was no fridge in the... On the plus side, the staff were friendly, its centrally located, and its not expensive. On the minus, shabby bedrooom, badly in need of a refurb, with a serious mold problem in the bathroom. It was March, and the heating only came on between 7.30-11pm on the day I was there, which was not enough.

I had no problem with room 403 (March 4-9, 2012). Everything about it was adequate. Not thrilling, mind you, but adequate. (Except for the horrible British TV.) Clean, decent size, decent storage space, large-enough bathroom with decent water pressure, semi-comfortable bed and pillows. In the back of the hotel, so it was quiet. Good size safe in the closet. Could... More

Came here with my boyfriend for my 20th birthday last year. The location is great, just a 5 minute walk from the train station and nice and quiet, although we came when the football was on so nowhere was really quiet!! Greeted by the staff as soon as we entered, and shown to our room. Although the stairs were a... More

I have stayed in many hotels as well as working in many, one as the housekeeper and i can say the bathroom in our room,203 is the smallest and dirtiest i have ever seen in a hotel. There was black mould on the tiles behind the toilet, which by the way is behind the door. Black mould under the soap... More

My partner and I spent a night at this hotel in January 2012. We found the location to be excellent, as with most things in the great city - you're oly a tube ride away. Although we hadn't paid for a suite, this is what we were given and it was lovely. The corridors are a little creaky and the... More
