There was an inch high gap between the corridor floor and the room door = no threshold there. All noise from other rooms and from the corridor came galloping in from this gap. Had to stick newspaper in between to keep atleast some of the noise out. You cannot leave any valuables in your room = so safe there. Did... More

Dear Reviewer, thank you for taking the time to write your review of your recent visit. You appear to have misunderstood the conversation between two receptionists who were discussing whether it was necessary to change the sheets of a guest that had checked out leaving his colleague alone in the room in case a different colleague came later to share... We stayed here two nights, we had a lovely welcome when we got there and most of the staff we encountered were lovely. Rooms and bathrooms were a bit outdated, although compared to other London accomodation we have encountered the size was not too bad and it was clean which is most important to us. Breakfast was average but certainly... More

We travelled to London for a long weekend with our 6 year old daughter and my parents, we booked a triple and a double room which I requested be next to each other which they organized no problem. Although u cannot reserve parking we arrived at 11.30am and found ample space plus when checking if we could leave our car... More

The hotel was nothing out of the ordinary. we lived in small and compact, but nice rooms, with a bathtub in the bathroom. The service was not good. some of the receptionist could not even offer a smile, and looked miserable. the second day, at breakfast, we went down to the breakfast-area, half an hour before it closed. we sat... Hotel clean and very helpful staff. Good breakfast........only missed sausages with English BF. Located just 5 min away from Paddington station it makes travelling very easy. Reachable by walk is Hyde Park, Oxford street etc. I sure will return to London & Mitre Hotel. Thank You. Ivan & Jesmond from Malta.

This was a subpar hotel, even for the price. I was on the 4th floor in room 409, which seriously needs some work on the window - there was a constant cold draft coming from it, right next to the bed. I had to ask for extra towels and stuff them in the cracks, which only partly solved the problem.... More

First impressions from the outside were good but inside was a but fawlty towers. The welcome was cold and brisk, the decor dated. The room was basic and in need of modernising. The bed was uncomfortable and the creaky floorboards in the room above were annoying. One good point was the powerful shower but the bathroom was very dated but... More
