My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks and were very pleased. The staff were very friendly and very helpful, the room was spotless and very comfortable. The hotel is also in an excellent location. It is walking distance to most of the major attractions including the London Eye, Tower Bridge, Trafalgar Square, Westminster Abbey, etc. My husband and I... More

I would rate this as a 3 or a 4. I was staying over night for work. Location about 7 minute walk from Southwark tube. Outside was a little tired looking but inside was OK. Check in was a bit slow because my surname had been spelt wrong but my room was surprisingly nice Room good size - big comfy... More

Had an over night stay. The staff were very friendly and helpfull. Room was big, lots of space. Nice big comfy bed. Bathroom was nice and clean, the shower wasn't very powerful but done the job. Facilities were great. Mini bar expensive...didn't have any of it, got our own from a local shop. Overall it was fab and would stay... More

Best part about this hotel was leaving. The room was so small and the shabby chairs and fixtures were well past their best. Paint was flaking off the ceiling, The a/c did not work and the room was so unbearably hot that we didnt get any sleep. The bathroom was poor and the bathroom flooded everytime the shower was used.... More

For what this hotel lacked in space (small rooms), and number of towels given per person in the room (1 towel for 2 people), it made up for in service. The desk-staff went above and beyond anything you asked for them to do. Unless you want to pay excessively for breakfast, there is a sandwich/coffee shop right opposite. It was... More

This is a nice hotel, centrally located in the Southwark area. 10 minutes walking distance from London Bridge train station, which makes it a convenient hotel if you're flying in and out of Gatwick. Lots of restaurants in the area (although they close around 9pm). There's also a supermarket nearby. It's at a walking distance from the Thames river bank,... More

This is a four star typical mercure near the Tate modern museum and the London bridge. The hotel location is quite central and easily accessible with the underground. There are a lots of new restaurants around, even though the area is not lively at night. All in all, we had a good stay. The rooms are somewhat small, but considering... More

Very nice hotel. Good sized room, nice big bathroom. Room cleaned each day (we stayed 3 nights) & towels replaced each time. Breakfast was expensive therefore we didn't eat there so can't comment on quality. Great location, 5-10mins walk from the underground, & only 1 change of train to get you to leicester sq (took max 15mins). Starbucks is 2mins... More
