After reading some reviews we were worried about where we had been booked by our travel agent. However, even though the room was small and the halls were narrow, we were satisfied with our room. Small, neat. clean, bathroom ok and pleasant staff. So for those who were complaining ..not sure which room you were in but ours was fine, more

In my 51 years on this planet i have been fortunate to stay in many hotels - some fantastic, some terrible the majority somewhere in between, but this hotel, boy oh boy, this is the worst one ever,it is a hotel stripped of any humanity,a hotel just stripped to the bare bones a bed a room, but don't accept the "what do you expect for... more

Suspicions were raised on entering - threadbare carpets, shabby decor and chipped counter. I was asked to pay up front and though i had stated on my booking that i had a teenager with me and asked for information about rates i was told I had to pay the full rate for her. One lift had scraps of old carpet... more

Must say that me and my friend were a little intimidated by all the reviews, we had booked before we read any of them. And good thing we didn't read! I can't believe so many have had such bad experiences, because we faced hardly any problems during our stay. Okay true that it could use a minor update (especially the... more

i am never going back to this place. the best you can say about it is that the location is good. we were travelling with three kids and even though we had put in a request to get rooms placed next to each other when we booked in january, we were lucky to get two on the same floor. one... more

Stay away never stayed in a pit as bad as this. You would be cleaner and safer sleeping on a park bench more

Woredown ugly carpets, creaking floor on the edge of caving in totally Small, no double beds available instead you get 2 separate beds. And you don't get a blanket either. Just a some dirty sheets. One day when we came back to the hotel we found that the door to our room was left open and noone was there. The... more

Even in Ireland, Kensington is well-known as the most affluent, sophisticated part of London, so you would have thought a 2 star hotel here would be of similar standard to a three star elsewhere. What we booked into would have been comic if it wasn't so dire. A disgusting carpet, combined with flaking, mold-encrusted walls created an atmosphere reminiscent of... more

I took my daughter here instead of having her go on her senior trip to Mexico. We checked in and were told that the hotel was having an electrical problem , we were put on a bus to a youth hostel in Notting Hill, The room had a PAD LOCK and long 30 year old FILTHY orange SHAG carpet, beds... more

The hotel room was extremely small, bed was not comfortable with coir mattress. Aesthetic beauty was completely missing from the room. Breakfast totally sucked! Only stayed there for less price and good location, it's quite near to the nearest metro station. more
