So this hotel is very basic and the room I had was small but quite honestly this is what to expect in this area at this price. I won't go again if I can help it. It was too far away from Paddington for me but very near Bayswater so a pretty good location. Everything else about it is average... More

We stayied there 5 nights a week ago. The rooms were very small with tiny smelly bathroom which made it impossible to take a shower. Additonally this hotel has 4 floors with no elivator , and very small rooms. They dont change towels and sheets unless you ask for it .How ever the staff tried their best to help .Don't... More

I stayed here in June. Breakfast was ok, they let you choose 4 things out of a paper menu where you mark what you want and give it to the ladies. I always had to ask for the "Jam" and butter for my croissant. NO LIFT/ELEVATOR. NO FREE WIFI, NO A/C, higher rooms are better since you can open the... More

Beds were clean, clean towels, fabulous breakfast including muffins, croissants, yoghurt, cereal and toast, everything you need to start you off for the day. Also hairdryer available in the bedroom. Here's for the not so good points, we stayed in bunk beds I was on the bottom bunk, all above the lower bunk was covered in graffiti and chewing gum,... More

The hotel facilities and rooms are very basic. The building itself is very nice and its located in the Nothing Hill area. Close to the hotel that is in a quiet area there is a street (Quensway) full ol life, restaurants and markets. It is close to the Bayswater underground station and to the Bayswater Rd. where you can take... More

It was very nice, the stuff was incredibly helpful. Very comfortable beds and the location was amazing. U could actually walk to Oxford Streer, it takes at about 25 min. Hyde park in 5-15 min walk. A lot of shops, undeground and bus stops near. The hotel was great., nice place to go after walk. The area is very quiet.... More

A shabby hotel. A prime location, all what it's got. Smells like a run down motel, with unfriendly staff. Did not say a word when we checked in, did not even look at my face when I handed in the key for check out. To make things worse our room door could not open fully, due to a bed being... More

Great location-this is it. Do not expect anything special- the room was ok, was clean, reallyyyyy small bathroom, but at least it is in the room, which makes the hotel preferable than a lot other hotels with shared bathrooms, Breakfast was ok too. Really thin walls and awful guests that were yelling all the time. If you are not picky... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
