Nothing wrong with the establishment, some of the other reviews it has received are a little unfair. Shared bathrooms not ideal but they're well maintained, rooms are alright, enough to keep one satisfied when they're not out in London. Tea and coffee facilities are lacking but that's but a small factor. Very good value for the area

We never saw so bad and expansive hotel. We do not recommend to stay here. Dangerous for your health! When you arrived you are welcome by smell horrible! The reception is not client oriented at all. The room and toilets I can not even describe.

This hotel is conveniently situated close to Soho. You really only rent a bed. There are no other facilities at the hotel, which is not necessary as there are lots of cafes and eating places close by. Hotel is dated but clean.

With the superb British Museum on its backside you cannot get a better location if you came to London to do some museums. If you are in a economy seeking group or a couple this could be a good fare - supposing you're willing to share bathrooms and showers in the main hallway - but if you are all alone,... More

Travelling to London I try and get a reasonable priced hotel but with a comfy bed. This wasn't cheap and wasn't comfy. The room was overlooked by many other rooms and the bathroom had no frosted windows. There were cracked tiles on the bathroom floor revealing sharp edges and a toothbrush with some sellotape to stabilise the bathroom fitting. All... More

Do not ever book this hotel. It it disgusting. Friends of ours had booked this for us as we as 2 couples went to see The Committments (which is a brilliant show by the way) and I will never let anyone book me a hotel room again. As soon as I walked into the reception area I knew that we... More

We booked a double bed with ensuite bathroom, the room was big enough, sheets were clean, bathroom was clean and towels were changed daily. In addition you get little soaps. The deco is old but we did not mind at all, in particular considering the price and centrality of the hotel. It is very near Oxford street and the British... More

I knew as soon as I stepped inside it was a mistake. The staff unfriendly, feels like a hostel, dirty, old and basic. Paying on check-in was my next alarm bell. On approaching the door to the room I was horrified by the poor state of repair, damage from abuse not repaired. The walls are dirty, the ceiling a wash... More
