Very friendly staff and a very central location with it being around the corner from the British Museum but the property is in need of refurbishment. Seen better days but for the price and a bed for the night it was okay.

The staff are very nice but don't forget anything when you leave because they will never get it back to you. I stayed here quite a few times over the last few months. I had the same room which was quite convenient, although I had a shared bathroom which was far from idea, however for the price it really can't... More

The location and the low prices are the biggest pro for this hotel, making it an excellent way-station for budget weekend trips. A friend and I booked a twin room for a one-night stay in London. We were given room 1, which is below street level but still manages to have a lot of natural light. The room was a... More

You pay for the location and a very basic room. Mine was in the annex, and the gap below the door allowed me to hear the other room's conversation. Perfectly. If you want a great location and a little overpriced basic room, this is the right place.

I like the area that the Hotel is in, you can't go wrong with having all of the West End Theatres within a 20 minute walk. Tube Station is down the road and it is really easy to find. The room wasn't great, however I wasn't planning to spend all my time there throughout the trip; it was just a... More

Bloomsbury is a fantastic place to stay if you go to London. It's central and easy to go sightseeing all the wonderful places in lovely London. This hotel, and I hesitate to describe as such, is so basic, sordid and dirty. However, if you want a cheap room in central London then that is what you get. On the plus... More

Stayed here for two nights in April 2014 .. This place was an absolute dump. The carpet was sticky and the whole place was just filth ridden. There was a pair of dirty inner soles on the radiator - says it all. We were given a basement room which was painted a mustard colour with two single beds In a... More

The very low price to stay in central London was not worth it. The receptionist was unfriendly. The room was dilapidated. The bed was greatly sunken in the middle. The decor was old and dull. It needs a complete refurbishment. Free WiFi didn't work.

It's old but very central and cheap. Not very comfortable, but good enough for a few days and for sleeping. Its a good place to stay because it's close to everything: there is transportation for everywhere. You can have breakfast at Pret-A -Manger.
