Stayed here on my own for one night while visiting my daughter. Clean, basic, small single room with minute ensuite. Good breakfast. I was on top (4th) floor with narrow staircases and no lift. Surprisingly quiet at night. Think the room (30) was under the water tank. Excellent location 2 minutes walk from Paddington Station. Decent value at £59.

£49.00 for a hotel in W2? I wasn't expecting much, but I was in for a pleasent surprise. I checked in without any problems & found my room to be clean with a new bathroom. There was tea & coffee in the room & breakfast was included, I didn't have any as had to leave before service started at 06.30am.... More

We stayed at this hotel in a family room with a private bathroom and toilet. The big advantage of the hotel is good transport connections and his position relatively close to the city center. Room was not large, but sufficient for sleeping. Noises from nearby Paddington Station and adjacent roads were not particularly disturbing. English breakfast was excellent. Stayed March... More

Last summer I stayed with my family in The Belvedere Hotel in London. Normally we stay in a hotel chain, but in London, in summer that's not easy. There were some minor things; like there is no lift (we were on the upper floor, which meant with our suitcases, 5 long stairs, a built-in bathroom (pink!), and the breakfastroom seems... More

We stayed four days in the hotel end of december 2013. The hotel is basic but good, good location, small but nice rooms. Though we are positive about the hotel, I would like to post a warning regarding the cleaning staff. One of the four girls stole my jewelry. Since there is no safe deposit box and I am a... More

My experience is much the same as the other reviews here. I stayed here with my mum (who is a very light sleeper) for two nights. We were given room 17 in the basement which was a nice clean comfortable room, the only problem was the sound of the trains in the very close by paddington made it very difficult... More

Fine for a short stay. The room was basic but very clean.Novelty en suite was fine for just the one night. Its a perfect location for the station and they serve an excellent breakfast from 6.30am which was ideal as we had an early train to catch. Good value in a convenient location.

I had a room at the ground floor, it was very noisy all day and night with underground sounds all the time. I could hear people going up and down the stairs all the time The bathroom had a terrible smell and rhe heater didnt work Staff was friendly though and helpfull and the location is great, two minutes walk... Good location but be aware. No lift, to reach the room I was in; that's 79 steps up steep narrow staircases with your bags... Room had a tiny ensuite bolt on plastic cubicle. Damp patch in the corner on the carpet accompanied with a small mushroom... I was glad when i left. Staff are polite on arrival but don't lift... More

Fine for a short stay. The room was an average size. The hotel and room were clean enough. A full English breakfast daily was a nice perk. The main drawbacks were: (1) wafer thin walls, meaning any noise in adjacent rooms such as speaking or use of bathrooms was audible, and (2) no wifi anywhere in the hotel which, in... More
