I stayed in the Cabin room which if you view on their webpage, looks small but prettty decent. But pictures are usually deceiving. I booked it 2 months prior to my stay in late December as the prices everywhere were already increasing and i was like 'oh well, its the cheapest anyway'. Upon arrival, I opened the door to a... Had the most horrible experience ever. I was so unimpressed with the receptionist who worked in the morning shift. He was rude, disrespectful and barbaric! i had a friend who came to visit me and he used a very aggressive tone to warn my friend to leave after half-an-hour !! secondly, i overslept after celebrating new year and checked out... i spend a few nights here in December and was disappointed by the hotel. The entrance and reception area was nice and clean and gave the impression of a more modern hotel but the room was tiny (even by London standards) and the finishings old and tired. Breakfast was included and was reasonable but I would look elsewhere for a... More

I made a booking then read the reviews, armed with a suitcase of clean sheets pillows and blow up mattress I turned up dreading my stay but needing to be in London for early appointment. Had I not had clean sheets I think Id have spent a night in an all night cafe, the sheets looked awful, thin stained and... More

Small, shabby room which needed a coat of paint at the very least. The shower was extremely small too and looked decidedly grubby so,as only there for one night, gave it a miss. On the plus side the staff were friendly and the breakfast and service were good. Within walking distance of Kings Cross and Oxford Street.

I am an experienced traveller and have stayed in many hotels over many years. Never have I stayed in such a filthy, badly maintained establishment as this. It should be shut down. Don't be deceived by the pictures on their website. My bath was filthy and dangerous - stained bath, and rubber mixer arrangement on tap to provide shower attached... More

Having read some of the reviews after booking I was expecting a dire experience but I was pleasantly surprised. I had the advantage of a single room on the top floor away from noise. The room was adequate, clean and everything functioned. The man on reception was helpful and the English breakfast was reasonable. Although the lift worked it was... More

I had the same experience as other reviewers, though in addition I had the smallest single room I have ever been in. The hot water was tepid, but the room was warm and the bed comfortable, though I wasn't sure how long it was since the sheets were washed. On the other hand, a good location.

I have now stayed at this Hotel a couple of times. It keeps popping up on Hotels.com or Late rooms, whenever I try and book accommodation for a trip to London. It always looks good (Compared to other offerings) as it is significantly cheaper and the location is great for the West End. This stay was no different to the... More

Had tickets to see a show at The Palladium and this hotel was close to venue. That's the only plus! Indeed a great location - just a few minutes stroll from Oxford street which was looking great, lit up for Christmas. Great too for eating places, pubs and bars. Hotel looked ok from entrance. No welcome at all from staff... More
