The front of the hotel is currently being renovated and when you walk in the foyer is quite nice. Don't be fooled by this, the rooms are disgraceful. I was told by a staff member that the first floor rooms have been renovated but I was on the 3rd floor, which is not air conditioned. The rooms are like cupboards... More

If you fancy the Bayswater area, this hotel is well situated. Not top af the range, but it gives you a decent place to stay during your visit to London. Room was acceptable and clean. Breakfast was great in a clean and spacious hall, with good service. Good service in the lobby bar with good food. Have booked here for our... More

I visited the hotel in July.it was a let down right from the beginning. The exterior was being refurbished so there was scaffolding on the outside so when I asked for a quiet room I was assigned on the first floor above the entrance! mornings were early as there was noise from the street and the reconstruction. The room looked more like... As previous reviews have said; I too cannot understand who of sound mind would rate this hotel as excellent or even good. The best I could say about this hotel is that it is an over priced hostel and I've stayed in much better hostels, with cheaper rates. The reception and bar area look ok and looks the part at... More

It is mind boggling that 109 people rated this hotel excellent. Where do they live that they think this is an improvement? Maybe is the staff writing the good reviews. I booked this with vacations to go, in Paris we stayed at Timhotel on Berthier ave and it was what would expect of a cat 3 small room, clean bed,free... More

I was very disappointed with this hotel. It was not 3star and extremely over priced. We arrived and they had lost our booking. Then took two people to sort out which took 30 mins. Room was a single with a camp bed shoved in the corner, which apparently is a twin!! no air conditioning, unclean and more basic than a... More

Landed-up staying in this building through "booking.com" out of compulsion rather than choice as it was short notice. As mentioned by other reviewers, there is some refurbishment being undertaken or you would be forgiven for thinking that the scaffolding was actually holding the place up! The staff are courteous and the lobby is clean and air-conditioned, which is about all... More

The location by the Underground and so close to Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens was great. Bayswater nearby had a lot of great shops and made it easy to pick up snacks and other necessities. However, the beds were not at all comfortable. Since there is no airconditioning, you have to have the window open and then street was very... More

It was an overall bad experience first of all no a/c and rooms were not in good shape...locks on door didn't work, had to ask for towels and supplies for room, wifi was only in bar area and was limited to 20 minutes with a very weak signal. Breakfast was cold cereal and toast but we could buy an egg and... More

I e-mailed them 3 days before I was due to stay to ask about parking - no reply received Staff very slow on check in causing long queue, they were putting the stack of check in forms on the desk and asking you to find your own - nice to know they take care of our personal data! Some people... More
