Considering the prices for a room in London this was certainly value for money and you pay for what you get. Certainly a little tired in places and the included breakfast in the canteen like dining room a bit chaotic. Room big enough but tired and decor dated but very clean and tidy and everything you needed. Staff all pleasant... More

To the management, maybe you should spend the night in one of your rooms and see how bad it really is. Try the heating control which doesn't work and see if you can sleep in a room that feels like 30c even with a fan. Try the concave bed too while you are at it. Luckily I checked out 2... More

My 5 night stay at the hotel was fair enough, but I will probably not stay there again. It is a bit pricy for what it is; the rooms are small, the breakfast is not a buffet and the service could be better; the peeps at the reception and the bar could step up their game. The bar is a... More

Was allocated this hotel as part of a Red Letter gift package. Good location and very close to Central Line tube. Very pleasant at reception. Our room was looking very tired and had only been serviced for single occupancy. We had to ask reception for more towels, which were prompt in arriving. There was only 1 chair, which does not... I stayed with my family for 4 nights in october at this hotel and it was an absolutely terrible experience. 1. Most off the cleaning staff doesn't speak English, so to ask for a new towel, more toilet paper etc. is not possible, unless you go to the reception. Both the reception staff and cleaning staff was so unfriendly and... More

stayed dec 25-31st. great location, close to bus and tubes. but, i knew i was in trouble even without going into the hotel. there were cigarette butts littered all over the outside entrance, dozens if not hundreds. obviously no once cleans up. checked in, very small elevators/lifts. the hallways and carpet are from a era long past, looked out of... I stayed here for New Years 2014. Very disappointing, will not be going back. Under staffed as the bar lady was on her own and no help, while there was three member of staff behind reception when it wasn't busy. 20 mins waiting on a hot chocolate to be made.. Very poor. Paid 300 for two nights without breakfast. We... More

After a business trip, we choose this hotel because of its convenient location. Rooms are a little bit old fashioned but it does the job if you only have to sleep. We Did not tried the restaurant neither the breakfast (extra charge).

The hotel is located in a lovely handy area right beside some lovely pubs and places to eat, near Hyde park and near two tube stations. I visited this hotel for new years 2014. Here are just some of my points on the hotel. .REALLY small basic rooms that are half cleaned. . very strange smell in the bar area... More
