Is this 4 stars hotel? Difficult to believe. Poor service, small rooms and very expensive. It has good location and OK breakfast but that's it. We had a very small room with a small bed although we booked a room for two adults and they refused to change it.

The location is great. Rooms are small and you can hear everything from the next rooms but the hotel is clean and the breakfast is very good too. The hotel is close to bus station and to the tube staion. There are resturants nearby some of them are very good.

Single-bed room with everything you need, save perhaps a little more closet space for clothes. (Also, no minibar at the room, if that is a must-have.) Comfortable, quite hard, bed. Air condition AND a ceiling fan. Overall hotel standard was good, breakfast average though - poor eggs, push-the-button-coffee, some fruits and veg. Helpful staff, mainly Spanish-speaking (as well as English... More

This must be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, I go to London, Manchester and Glasgow on business a dozen time in the year, so have stayed in quite a few hotels. First who ever gave this place 4 stars is crazy the rooms are like going into a hostel the furnishings are cheap the rooms are grubby.... More

We arrived after 11pm, later than we expected, and the front desk gentleman kindly let us take a swim in the indoor pool - it was much appreciated, since we were hot & tired from our travels. Our room was small but comfortable and we enjoyed the plentiful breakfast the next morning, which was included in the price of our... More

Excellent helpful staff, Great Location for Hyde Park, excellent Buffet Breakfast, Room was well equipped, reception area very light, airy and comfortable. Rooms, corridors slightly tired looking but didn't detract from experience. 5 Star Customer Service!!! Thank you for returning the clothes I left in the room & most importantly my lost house/car keys! Well wrapped and posted quickly, many... More

Picked this because of it's location but that's all it has going for it. The room was so small and pokey, the bathroom was so small I had to climb over the toilet just to close/open the door. The pool was an added attraction but with paint peeling off the walls and the fact that that we had to share... More

The hotel's exterior is impressive with Bayswater Station and Hyde Park only a stone throw away. The room was a little small and we had the room with not much of a view. - Vale for money - Centrally located. - Staff was very friendly - Wifi available - Morning breakfast at the hotel was superb. - indoor Pool avail.... spent a weekend in London with my girlfriend and stayed at the Henry 8th hotel. Given the local competition (alot of hotels in area) we both thought that Henry 8th didnt really stand out. The inside is very bland and decorations and furnishings are falling apart. The room itself was very small and cramped, and being next to the road... More
