In 2013 we spent 3 nights at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was big enough and the breakfast was nice and varied. The room itself was clean but pretty small though it would not have been a problem (and of course the more expensive rooms are bigger). The bed was comfortable. The only problem was... More

I was worried re the quality of the rooms when booking, spoke to reservation manager and was reassured. Rooms clean and modern the staff very friendly and helpful. Mother of the bride and the rest of the hen party very happy and would stay again if coming to london for an overnight stay.

The location of this hotel is near Kensington Park and the Kensington Palace. It has easy access to bus and tube station, and is an easy trip down the road to the amazing Oxford Shopping Area. What this hotel has in location advantages it lacks in management and customer service. The desk staff, (with the exception of the concierge who... More

Good location for Kensington Palace,Park and Portobello road. Air condition unit in room but not wired up to work.Unbearably hot on 5th floor. Not quite the double room we were expecting- If you sat on the loo you could put your feet in the shower cubicle. Breakfast was ok but missing a vital ingredient of a full English-no bacon on any... More

Although the Hotel is in the central location, it is really not for a relaxing summer holiday. There is no airconditioning and single rooms are very small. The breakfast area is at the standard of a Hostel and not of a Hotel. It is good for a very short stay when the weather is very mild.

My friend booked this hotel for a night along with our other friend. It is well located and close bus stops and a few minutes to tube station. Outside looks average. When we got in our room its a bit small for 3 people. We have to ask for a fan cos it was hot as hell in our room.... More

Years ago, I was visiting my boyfriend and it was my first trip to London(before I've settled in London:). Therefore would like to stay in a hotel in the central and it would have good transport links for my bf. I booked this old style hotel which is central with good transport links and by the Hyde Park. So it... More

Just had 3 nights in London staying at this hotel. Great location, staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh, hot and more than adequate. It was warm inside but even warmer outside so to be expected. I paid less than £250.00 for the stay including breakfast which was great value. I was... More

In August 2013, I transferred to this hotel after a 5-night stay at a nearby hostel. I used a hotel locator app to help me find it, as the area where it's located is pretty much perfect. Hyde Park is practically across the street, and you're at most a block and a half away from *two* Underground stations (Circle and... More

Visit London once or twice a year , whilst traveling alone , this hotel suits me fine, clean Nice breakfast , well located. Not the end of the world but the elavator is so small , if it got stuck I'm sure 99% of people would freak out and have a severe attack of claustrophobia
