ive been to stay at the delmere hotel twice both times for 3/4 nights. Its location in Sussex gardens paddington is great, 5minute walk from the tube station. The rooms are clean and tidy but Very Very small, same with the bathrooms they are tiny. As they are so small they do get very stuffy. The Staff are always friendly... More

We stayed at the Delmere for 4 nights last week (we're from Toronto). The Delmere has 2 things going for it: (1) It's a 5-minute walk to Paddington Station, Hyde Park, and other tourist meccas; (2) It has great water pressure in the shower. Unfortunately, these two advantages aren't NEARLY enough to compensate for the many, many drawbacks, including: Our... More

We stayed at the hotel during a sightseeing visit to London. No complaints about the hotel other than one of the two rooms was on the small size but not a problem as just somewhere to sleep. The hotel and the rooms were clean and the staff very pleasant. I would definietly stay here again.

We were allocated a room (No 4) on the lower ground aka dungeon. No window in the room and very chlostrophobic. I asked for a room with a window and was immediately allocated room 207. Both rooms are very, very small, but, at least with a window it felt a little more bearable. The room was clean and the bed... More

This hotel was tiny, dirty and had no heater! The tv only had 3 channels. When we got to the hotel they said it was 40 dollars more than what we reserved it for. We said we would go elsewhere and they said we already paid the first half of it and they were going to keep the charge. They... More

This place is literally 3-blocks from Paddington station, where there is both an underground station and one of the main train stations. Two important trains for my trip left from Paddington, the Heathrow Express and the train to Windsor Castle, so this was a big plus for me. The hotel is also very close to Hyde/Kensington Park, only about 5-10... More

I will never stay at the Delmere Hotel again!! I was treated in the most disrespectful way when there was confusion about my booking which was off by one day. The Manager insisted on charging me for the mistaken day despite my having booked three nights stay. Most would have accomodated the mistake (regardless of whose fault) given the the... More

We stayed in this hotel for three nights. The location is great, very close to Paddington station which made it easy to go back to drop things / pick things up during the day. There are also a lot of restaurants in the neighbourhood, so you have a lot of choice. The room was very nice and clean. The breakfast... More

No heat of any kind in the hotel (and no air conditioning other than very small portable room fan). Sept. had a cold spell plus maid left the windows open all day, so when I returned late evening, felt like I was sleeping outside - this happened several times. Put on four layers of shirts and had two blankets, but... More

PLUS - This hotel is in a really great location - 2 min walk from Paddington Station and lots of bars, restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Only 10 min walk to Hyde Park too. Continental breakfast is good and the staff were friendly. Free internet also. NEGATIVES - our room was on the third floor and it was soooooooo hot... More
