Nice location, quiet neighborhood (we had a great view on the little park in front) but with lots of places to eat, walking distance to Oxford Street, clean rooms, breakfast ok. I recommend it, but no lift!

I was there for a week and the first day I arrived my door didn't lock. I freaked out because how do you give someone a hotel room that doesn't lock.. went to reception and freaked out, took them over an hour to fix it after asking me if I wanted it to lock from the outside or in.. definitely... Booked 4 nights about 2 months ago, charged for one immediately and was requested to pay balance at check-in, unfortunately before seeing room. Room was plain awful. We had a twin room and there was barely enough room for one person to walk between the beds. Tiny for two people traveling with two large back packs. Our packs basically had... More

The hotel is a bit dated, but room, bathroom and bedding very clean. Staff on reception polite and very helpful. The only minus was the breakfast hardly any choice. Easy to get to central London by bus or tube. Is in a very nice area and safe

Me and my friends went here on a school trip ; here are some of my friends reviews. When we first got into the bedroom it smelt like someone has been smoking , it was horrible , and then when you got upstairs the smell got worse and the ceiling is so low I hit my head . The TV... More

Hey guys! We are a group of four friends who stayed at the Pembridge for 4 days. 1- Its location is super! Its in a very quiet and clean elite neighborhood called Westminster. 2- Two subway stations are around 4 minutes walk from the hotel. The Circle line Bayswater.. and the central line Queensgate. Which make it easy to take... More

Hi guys, stay here for 4d/3n and must say, it is a nice place near Hyde Park. It is possible to walk to Victoria in 1,5 hours, to beginning of Oxford st about 20 minutes. Rooms - nice, but it seem, they were doing this rooms like for Hobbits :D but are comfortable. The walls are a little but scratchy,... More

If you are looking for 5 star this is not the hotel for you. I was only staying two nights to visit a relative in hospital so it was really just a place to put my head down and this hotel was ideal for that. There were a lot of families staying too so don't let the price make you... More

Cold shower in both the morning and night - management need to address this if they cater for a large amount of guests so should the hot water system!! Breakfast - you had to book a time yet when we arrived the tables were full from the earlier breakfast shifts - staff should keep guests moving. If I book breakfast... More

Stayed one night in this Bayswater hotel when i was in London for a concert. It was the cheapest en-suite i could get and therefore i didn`t have big expectations. When i arrived i was pleasantly surprised. The bathroom was tiled and clean, the rest of the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was decent with toast,jam,... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
