This place was awful. It was dirty the bathroom was so small you could not close the door whilst stood at the sink. I was in room 307, the tv didnt work I had to crawl around the floor for a plug socket. The showers were cold in the morning and overall was thoroughly disappointed

Stayed for one night here and after seeing reviews I was a little worried to say the least. Overall it wasn't as bad as I was expecting, it was clean and good enough for what we needed although the room was a little cramped and the TV wasn't working. Being on the 4th flour did mean that the we couldn't... More

No it's not a 5 star hotel, but for the price it's very very worth it! The location is fantastic, The bathroom was brand new, with GREAT hot water pressure, the room was warm and had plently of extra blankets and towels, the check out isn't until 11am and you get breakfast! What a great bargain, I slept very well... More

My daughter had to put me up in a hotel in London on Wednesday the 14th January 2015 as she was not able to travel back to London due to the storm. The room (112) was extremely small (app. 3.5m2) and the toilet was on the floor above. Just a toilet and a sink, no bath. No electrical sockets either... More

My husband and 2 children booked this through booking.com. All looked great. But it was too good to,be true. The place was small, dirty and depressing. So much so that we left and ended up paying for two nights that we never used. There is nobody on duty that can be of help. Your only resource is an email that the... More

Welcoming and helpful staff. The room was very small - as pointed out in many reviews here. But beds were super - thick matresses - not too soft, not too hard. Continental style breakfast: juice, yoghurt, cereals, scrambled eggs, cheese and marmelade. All we needed. Some minor irritations: Wi-fi only in lounge at reception. And water was leaking (occasional drip)... More

I stayed at this hotel in December 2014. I booked it only because I was looking for a cheap place to sleep at in Central London. Hotel is strictly average, but it is priced quite low for London standards. It's a good hotel to come to stay at if one is just looking for a place to sleep at. Breakfast... More

We are the family of three from Slovenia. We visited London from 30 nov. to 4 dec 2014 and stayed at Pembridge Palace Hotel for 4 nights. The location is perfect - all the restaurants, pubs, cafes, shops, bus stops and subway station - are very close. The hotel itself is average. The rooms are very small (including bathrooms), all... the receptionist at this hotel named Ali was very rude to my father. we were supposed to check out at 11, but we checked out at 12. he said he told us to check out at 11 and that it is written behind the key but he did not mention it at all, he raised his voice and was very... More

Pictures in the hotel reviews gave more than we got. However, good location near subway and quiet neighborhood. Dining room was small and narrow and because it was also low, it was very noisy. Breakfast was pretty basic but with that price, you can't expect much. I would recommend, if you are just staying and going, not if you are... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
