Oh God…where should I start? Never, never again!! Dirty, filthy, damp, disgusting place. Room “furnished” with sticky and dodgy stuff. I spent three horrible nights itching and scratching all over my body (bed bugs)!! Pillows full of somebody else’s hair. Elevators broken. Receptionists unfriendly and barely speaking English. Better under a bridge!!!!!

The hotel hides behind a professional looking website and the grand Georgian architecture of Bayswater, but inside lies a very dated, dirty, grotty hotel with poor front of house customer service. First impressions were poor - an old man was checked in with 3 large cases and was offered no help or even shown were the lift was (we saw... More

Made a booking on the train to London, cheapest hotel around and was not disappointed. On the map, it was not clear as to the location, we decided to walk . BIG Mistake! Took us about an hour to walk from Kingscross. So if you going, use the tube, nearest station Baywaters. Generally the hotel was ok for a one... More

For a London 3* hotel at a 4* price, very disappointed. Positives - clean bathroom. Close proximity to tube stations and fabulous Greek restaurant (highly recommended!) Negatives - very dated. Despite large room size, beds in "mezzanine" with extremely low ceiling/head space. Carpets too dirty to risk barefoot! Towels felt damp and despite being white, were stained. Second choice of... Strange thing about the English language is that any building that is called a palace and is not the home of royalty is most assuredly not a palace. No better example exists than the Pembridge Palace Hotel, a dump by any reckoning, tucked away in the rabbit hutch complex of hotels off of Prince's Square. Their website shows a fine... More

We stayed one night at the Pembridge. For the money we paid it was to be expected. The room was the smallest i have been in but was clean. The hotel was very noisy. We were advised that we were ok for breakfast at 09:30 arrived at 09:20 staff were clearing up as we started to get to the table.... More

at under £100 for a quad room in Notting hill, I cant complain at the price. the room however was a dive. In the basement with a view of a wall and with paint bubbling off the ceiling presumably through damp coming in. I usually like my hotel rooms to have wall to wall carpet rather than a split down... My wife and I stayed 6 nights in mid-August in that sleazy hotel. See photos to get an impression what you must be aware. We payed 840 €/674 GBP (= 140 €/112GBP per night) for a twin bedroom. The room (4th floor) was really small. There was no air condition. The room was filled up with what they call furniture.... More

We spent 8 nights her, as usual in the area there where no aircondition or even air circulation. So in the heat when we where ther it was very warm, we borrowed a small fan that made it alittle better. Internet was a bit unstable. the hotel is placed in notting hill, close to a local pub. There is restaurants,... More
