Princes´s square is a very nice neighbourhood, easy access and nice surroundings. Not to far to the Underground. Rooms are quite small, clean but have seen better days. Beds are ok. Breakfast is included (at least at our booking) and is a average breakfast with bred, scrambled egg, serials and some vegetables. Friendly staff. Not to expensive and I would... More

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights with my husband and our 3 children in a family room. The room was a reasonable size. The ceilings are high which has enabled the hotel to put an extra floor within a room. Only problem with this is you can't stand up on this extra floor without banging your head. However... More

I booked this hotel through Hotwire, paying £40 per night, which it claimed to be a 40% discount. It also claimed that the hotel is 3 stars, which it clearly isn't. Everything that reviewers have written below is accurate. So here are some tips to help survive the Pembridge Palace, if you end up here through misfortune: 1. Don't be... More

The room was very small and very old decoration. The hot water is only in the morning so make sure you take a shower that time. Water in the evenings is hardly warm, not hot enough to take a shower in. We have complained to the staff however the receptionist said that there is nothing they can do about it.... More

Pembridge Palace Hotel is a good Hotel in a very quiet and beautiful neighborhood. Rooms are very clean and breakfast is above average, the best one we had in almost a month in Europe. Subway is required to go to London's attractions.

This hotel was sold to me by Expedia's Secret Saver Deals (the offer which promises branded hotels at a discount). Well, this place certainly was a surprise. Of the worst kind. Once I'd paid and the hotel name was revealed, I thought I'd do some research. When I read the reviews, I was mortified. Yet the hotel's own website and... More

not a hotel for holidays. did bother me that they gave us rooms at basement floor, not happy about that, the room was fine, beds where comfortable, in general more or less clean. Bathrooms....that is another question. shower was a drain hole next to the throne. location was not bad, but for that price you can get better. If its... More

In July I booked quadruplicate room in this hotel for two days. I wanted to amend/modify on line but no tools available. Contacted helpdesk but without any result. Unfriendly staff & services, very bad conditions of room, beds, towels. No wifi at room & BF was terrible. Zero value for the money.

We visited Pembridge with our school on a school trip. As we pulled up alongside the hotel in our coach the first thing we saw, parked outside the front doors of the hotel were pest control vans so that instantly gave off a bad impression. As students we didn't speak to the check-in staff but left the teachers to that... More

Location´s good, but everything else NOT good. If you want to run to the toilet every ten minutes then eat the breakfast here. The staff looked at you as you were an idiot when you had questions for them or told them the key card didn´t work. Bad cleaning also, got bitten by bedbugs and had marks all over my... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
