at under £100 for a quad room in Notting hill, I cant complain at the price. the room however was a dive. In the basement with a view of a wall and with paint bubbling off the ceiling presumably through damp coming in. I usually like my hotel rooms to have wall to wall carpet rather than a split down... My wife and I stayed 6 nights in mid-August in that sleazy hotel. See photos to get an impression what you must be aware. We payed 840 €/674 GBP (= 140 €/112GBP per night) for a twin bedroom. The room (4th floor) was really small. There was no air condition. The room was filled up with what they call furniture.... More

We spent 8 nights her, as usual in the area there where no aircondition or even air circulation. So in the heat when we where ther it was very warm, we borrowed a small fan that made it alittle better. Internet was a bit unstable. the hotel is placed in notting hill, close to a local pub. There is restaurants,... More

I stayed with my husband on 3rd-6th July 2014. I can say one thing - do not believe a single thing you read about this hotel when it is the staff/owners talking about it. On the first place, I want to mention what we actually liked on the hotel - the location. 5 minutes to the Bayswater station, the surrounding... More

When is a square not a square? answer - when it is Princes Square, the location of the above hotel. I was warned by the taxi driver that only 2 sides of the square were Princes Square the other 2 sides were hiding nearby. I didn't think this too much of a problem, until 2 am after a rather good... This hotel is typical of a budget hotel in London. Relatively small room, but not tiny. The small private bath, however, was outside the room, an inconvenience. The room was relatively clean, although needed some dusting and the carpet was old. The continental breakfast included scrambled eggs and the overall selection was okay, but no meat. The location is good,... More

Work booked me into this hotel and after reading the reviews I was concerned about staying there. However, I was pleasantly surprised, and think the hotel is fine considering its price. My room was small but clean. Reception staff were nice and helpful when my hairdryer didn't work. Breakfast was fine too (bread, toast, cereal, juices, tea/coffee, eggs, cheese, tomatoes... More

The hotel is quite ok to stay at. There is a horrible arrangement for when to eat in the breakfast room down in the basement. The service staff at breakfast is avoiding eye contact. They are not very friendly; and we soon figure out why: When you show up for your booked breakfast, theres no tables for you. If you... More
