I stayed 6 nights in Febuary 2015, i love this hotel couse it has great location, just walking around i can see anything such as many restaurant and shopping center, park, tube station. it was spacious, elegant and comfortable - exquisite in every way! The bathroom was luxurious - I truly appreciate a separate shower, and the Marriott

A fantastically well placed Hotel, within close walking distance to Oxford,Bond Street etc while being secluded and very private. Outstanding service. Rooms on the small side but well groomed and clean. Highly recommended if you can get a good deal/special offer.

I have stayed here before but previously I booked an executive room directly online with the hotel so did not have any issues. This time I booked a double room via Expedia and paid upfront for the room, WiFi and breakfast. Was given a tiny room right opposite the lift so noisy throughout the day. Went to reception several times... More

My family loves London. We like museums, soccer (football), old buildings, shopping, parks. You name it, we want to do it all. Grosvenor Square is the perfect hotel to launch all your London adventures. The service - from the front desk to the executive lounge to the housekeeping- was all excellent. Not s single complaint. As a matter of fact-... More

Hotel is in a good location within a few blocks of Oxford St and Selfridges. Staff is polite and helpful but in my experience having Ritz Gold status doesn't mean much except an acknowledgment unless you ask. With my Gold Ritz rewards I was not offered an upgrade. I could have an upgrade for $75 per night, making my room... More

Dear Metalligal007 Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us on TripAdvisor. I am frustrated your arrival experience was so poor and you ended up feeling not valued as a Marriott rewards member. Our rewards members are the foundation of our hotel and the brands success. Our arrival processes are based around recognising that. Clearly... More

The room was lovely and well presented...however not big enough for 4 people as it states, double double room. Also only left enough towels etc for 3 but was easily remedied with a call to reception. Excellent location for city shopping. Overlooking a little park and the borris bikes are just outside. Overall a nice stay.

We like staying in Mayfair and around Grosvenor Sq. It is close to the tube, shopping, the West End, and good restaurants. It is quiet. While this hotel is a bit larger than some of the boutique hotels in the area, it still has a personal feel with very friendly staff and dedicated customer service personnel. (Thanks go to Sophie... We stayed for 3 nights in a beautiful room with garden terrace. It was so clean, all the amenities we required and had the most comfortable bed. What really made this hotel fantastic for us were the staff- all very helpful and attentive, without being intrusive- they genuinely couldn't do enough for you. We made good use of the club... More

Stayed on a Monday night in December, great central location and easy to get to from all locations. Good service on check in and room was a decent size for a central London hotel, with modern amenities and a very comfortable bed. Had a slightly odd experience on getting to the room, where when I got to the room I... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
