Great location in Central London. Close to the Bond Street Tube Station. Awesome concierge lounge with friendly staff! We took advantage of breakfast, afternoon tea and dessert opportunities. It's next to the U.S. Embassy if you need their services. Looking forward to the next visit.

Great location and clean hotel. However the room we were given for two persons was clearly not equiped for two. The breakfast buffet was very poor for a high standing hotel. Although we were offered free wifi (instead of £15/day?) when we suscribe for a "friendship card", the front desk was not really friendly and efficient. Again for an hotel... More

Hotel is but a couple of blocks from the famed Oxford Street and Park Lane. Staff was efficient but somewhat perfunctory. I was assigned the smallest room on the premises (based on the floor plan) - not sure why, as there were plenty of empty rooms that I spied throughout the day (being prepared/cleaned and restocked with drinks). After a... More

We spent a week in England with four nights at this hotel. It is a beautiful hotel and just a few blocks from "the tube". It is a very busy hotel with many events occurring during our stay. The lobby staff was very attentive. Our room was two double beds. The mattresses were comfortable and the rooms very clean. The concierge... More

Got an upgrade due to my Platinum status. Comfy beds. The lounge is very good and the food is also very nice plus the staff are more than helpful. The Luggage Room is a cute speakeasy type of bar within the hotel and the bar staff are excellent mixologists. Also check out Gordon Ramsey's restaurant, Maize. The hotel is next... More

Location is #1 for me. My dinners are in Mayfair and I like to walk back to my hotel. If I forget something (e.g stockings), Selfridges is 2 blocks away. If you work in the financial district, the Central line is 3 blocks away, and it's 4 stops to St. Pauls. There are just a couple things that bother me... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
