I have eaten in Maze grill many times beofre and the food is always exceptional. However this was my first stay at the hotel and i was very underwhelmed by the size and quality of the room. Very dated and very small but a premium price. Cant fault the location as its slap in the middle of the busy shopping... More

This hotel is really well positioned, just off of the busiest shopping area in London, and a few minutes from the United States Embassy and Bond Street tube station. Service in the hotel was good throughout. The Executive Lounge was particularly well served. We stayed in an Executive Room (upgraded through Marriott points). The room was spacious with two bathrooms... More

Although the staff was very solicitous, service was generally quite poor. Sheets were cleaned only once every three days, unless requested. Dirty glasses and cups are not cleaned or replaced, as the staff are instructed to assume that guests may be saving that last little bit of cold coffee for purposes unknown. Guests, however, are not told to empty cups,... More

Great Hotel very close to Oxford Street. Rates are acceptable compared to other 5star hotels in the area, rooms are in a nice state and even the cheapest one makes you feel comfortable. Internet is SUPER FAST, therefore it makes working a lot easier compared to many other hotels. Sometimes the hotel gets very busy due to banquets or events... More

Being my first time visiting London, I had no idea where we were or if this was a good central location to sights. Turns out it was! LOCATION: The area is really picturesque and not hectic as one normally experiences in most part of the city. There were a lot of small restaurants nearby open late (past 10pm) which was... More

The strong point of this hotel is definitely its location at walking distance from all shopping areas of central London. The rooms were spacious and recently renovated (even if still with this dark Marriott style with horrendous carpet...). Bathroom spacious as well but shower is rather poor and located in the bath tub. Rooms are quite noisy and not well... More

My husband booked us into this hotel as a surprise for our 20 year anniversary. When we first arrived our first impressions were very good, we found the concierge helpful and friendly. My husband confirmed with reception that we had a king bed in our room and that he had emailed the hotel on booking to advise it was a... More

Great location, nice building. The staff are hit and miss, some seem interested, others give off the impression that they own the place. You work here I'm staying here you are not better than me so please don't act like it. Room was small but comfortable and clean. Possibly the weirdest thing I've ever experienced in any hotel is the... More

Stayed here on 11th February and thought this hotel was excellent, upon check-in immediately we was greeted by a very polite man who was French, he was very informative efficient and welcoming, we was located on the top floor which was no problem. The room was very modern and contemporary, the bed was very comfortable. Location was perfect as we... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
