After booking this hotel, I was worried about our stay following the reviews posted. If I was expecting the Dorchester standard, I would have paid to stay there. This is a very reasonably priced hotel in a very expensive area. Star ratings are a guide to facilities not luxury. Yes this hotel is dated and in need of a refurb,... More

Firstly, you have got to consider how much you are paying to stay in Mayfair. Its a real bargain. The hotel has a lovely presentation walking to it. This is a boutique hotel, so is not a massive entrance but not cramped by any means. It is welcoming. I was a bit sceptical as I had seen poor reviews and... More

I visit London quite frequently for leisure and booked this hotel as it was close to Hyde Park for "Winter Wonderland" and Oxford St for shopping. This is NOT a 4* star hotel & whoever is responsible for awarding 4 stars, needs glasses. Booked a deluxe double room, it was very shabby & not deluxe. When we discussed our concerns... More

This is a budget hotel in a great location. For the money in this location your paying less than half it would cost in the others close by. Bit disappointed no Steam Iron , which for travellers is important , other than that it is fine. So don't come thinking its 5 Star gliz it's not ..is a great value... More

I stayed here for a night after I got married for a stop over before heading out on our honeymoon. It was a treat from my family and they offered me The Dorchester or The Hilton, but stupidly I went for the Park lane mews. I loved the look and location and having working in Mayfair thought it looked beautiful.... More

It looked very nice and in a great location, good value on booking.com BUT we booked an executive room which was extremely small and very cold. The bathroom was cramped, minimal cupboard space in the room and generally a very ordinary room. We paid for breakfast at £16.95 a head and it was a complete waste of money. Hot and... More

Visited recently on business and was a bit concerned reading the reviews but was pleasantly surprised. I have stayed in a number of hotels in the area and this one is as good if not better than some of the so called better hotels. Some of the reviews are harsh. If you are looking for a friendly, clean and well positioned... More

Park Lane Mews hotel in London is a very nice place to stay a few days when you visit London. The rooms are confortable and clean. The hotel has a very good position, so you can visit a lot of interesting places. The staff try to help you everytime you need something. And the prices are fair.

Well I've read some of the reviews, but you know, I found this Hotel good value for money, my son and I shared a twin room, and my daughter a single room, ok this hotel does need a facelift in some area's, but our rooms were clean, the single room was upgraded, no, we didn't ask, it was offered at... Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
