I chose this hotel for a weekend break (2 nights) in central london for my husbands birthday. The location for me was key and I had looked at these reviews after I had booked (through lastmin.com) and how I wish I hadn't ignored them! We arrived and it looks nice from the outside, staff were quite unfriendly, but literally we... More

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! I booked into this hotel for a romantic trip & it has ruined the relationship. The room was cold (I was given a oil heater which did not work). There was mould in the bathroom. The sheets were stained with gos knows what. I endured a passionlesss night & left. Thank you for ruining my chance... More

We chose this hotel due to its location and it appeared to be a lovely hotel to stay, but please do yourself a favour and cancel your reservation if you have already booked here. The exterior is lovely, but as you get closer to your room it goes down hill very fast. We started off in room 315 which was... More

Booked a theatre break 31st dec and 1st jan. Exterier and reception looked very smart. But wait till you see the bedroom ! Burned lampshades ... holed blanket...grubby curtains ...and the bathroom was difficult to believe. Bath panel falling off and broken along the floor area , the shower head rusty and loose plug not of right type for plug hole.... More

I chose this hotel because it was the only one I could (barely) afford in a central location in London. It's close to the Green Park Underground station, which is particularly useful, and close to great shopping and visiting opportunities. But at 184 pounds per night (313 CAD per night), I really expected more. While the outside and the lobby... More

Looks promising on arrival - very pleasant exterior and close to some of the best hotels and restaurants in London. My room looked like it had recently been decorated (clean wallpaper and brilliant white ceilings) but the yellowed gloss on the doors and skirting boards hinted that it's been quite a few years since they last received a lick of... Do not stay here. My company booked me here thinking it was central and a good hotel. Correct on 1 count. Let me explain. Rude staff arrival, live with that. Pokey double room, bad. Tired furnishings, bad. Disgusting bathrooms, bad. A/c not working, bad. More

As other reviewers have mentioned, this is definitely not a 4-star hotel anymore. The carpet needs replacing, the mattresses are old, and the furniture and woodwork desperately need some TLC. If you are looking for a suite that you will spend a lot of time in during the day, this place is not for you. However, it was EXACTLY what... More

The hotel is very well positioned for shopping in Oxford Street and access to central London and particularly Shepherd Market. Lots of good pubs and restaurants nearby. My room was clean though a little jaded. However I enjoyed my stay and the breakfast. I did get a reduced room rate through laterooms. I certainly didn't experience any of the problems... More

this hotel is more runned down and over quoted as per a four star hotel & the photo showned on their web site. Although many aspects are acceptable, the bathroom of the rooms are the part that should really be re generated. The staff is quite friendly, but know little to what is happening around London to offer help to... More
