I booked this because of its location. The price of the room was OK for a London 4*. The two star rating is only because the staff brought it up from the minus 2 I wanted to give it. The staff were excellent. The room was very poor: mould on the bathroom tiles, only one face cloth (for two people)... More

This hotel is on very close to Green Park station on the Piccadilly line which is ideal if you are travelling into London from Stanmore. Its in easy walking distance of the Theatres and Shopping. The hotel have very friendly staff to greet guests. Our room was on the fourth floor. Very clean and welcoming, with tea/coffee in the room.... More

Enter - my room - the curtains were hanging from the rails, bare minimum of space around the bed and the TV initially did not work. Right behind the lift shaft I had to have my room changed due to lack of sleep, which admittedly although it was midnight, the staff did immediately

Lives up to the Hilton brand in terms of service and overall guest experience. Building is older and only a few storey tall, however considering the central London location and the competitive pricing I am quite happy with the stay and would like to return.

The staff here are excellent and I felt that they really went the extra mile to make me feel welcome. The hotel is a very short walk from Green Park tube station and is ideally situated for walking to Buckingham Palace, St James' Palace, etc. The room was in need of some TLC but as the painters were already working... Nice hotel within walking distance to Knightsbridge , Ritz and tube station. Hotel clean and friendly staff. A little dated rooms and although extra glazing still noisy but to be expected in central location however this is outweighed for the location. Nice breakfast, with good variety. Omelet made to order fresh juice comfortable seating,

Bedrooms. Stained walls, flakey paint, cut out sections of carpet, really cheap thin carpet in the first place, creaky wooden bed frame as joints coming apart, cracked basin in bathroom, long black hairs in the bath, cheap mismatched furniture, old TV with poor picture quality, and 'curtains' that were like a couple of blankets. More like a cheap £30-45 hotel... More

We upgraded for the Deluxe King room. The space in the room was very nice, especially for West London, but the quality is terrible. Had I only seen the room, I would have thought it was a travelodge! Our room was right next to the lift, so we was awake most the night from the noise of the lift and... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
