I and my family spent 7 nights in the Best Western Corona Hotel - London .Hotel in a very good location, silent, calm area, close to the subway station, bus line to main tourist attractions in the front door, excellent breakfast at reasonable price and very good and friendly staff in the recepcionist desk as well as in the whole... Ok, so the room is clean! Thats whats positive about it. It's extremely small. There is no room for three suitcases. And it is a so called familyroom. No air condition, and tight as i dont know what. We ordered two familyrooms, to be connected. We got two rooms on different floors! And with no will to make the changes... More

The bad: 1) Exceptionally small room. It all just fits in, but in a ridiculous way. Even though it has a bathroom, the door only opens half way (45 degrees), it has a miniature washbasin in a corner. It has a reasonable shower cabin and shower, which you can even fit under if you are not too long. 2) I... More

The Best Western Corona has very helpful and professional staff. The location is convenient to Victoria Station. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the breakfast and the selection was perfect for those interested in a light start to their day.

The three C's. Convenient = very central and close to tube station. Clean = a BIG thing with me. Hotel must be clean & bed must be comfortable, it was and it was. (Though most Compact room I've ever slept in) Cherry = the staff were very friendly, helpful & cheerful. Not Cheap, but that's not always a bad thing,... More

initially shown to a lower ground floor room which was adequate but had a strange buzzing noise coming through the wall (like a dentist drill!). reception were great and moved me to the top floor without any problem and this was good as I wouldn't have been happy with the room position as a single female traveller; the room was... We ended up getting this hotel on Hotwire and at first were angered that the considered this one of their secret rate four star hotels. Never being to London before we expected more for the money. After arriving we found this clean quiet little hotel was perfect for us and great value for the money (London is EXPENSIVE) Rooms were... More

Best Western Pimlico Stayed here for two nights mid-May 2015 while on business nearby. Small hotel, 5 minute walk from a tube station. Room was small but comfortable. Quiet and warm. Bathroom was 'bijou'! Good WiFi. Staff at reception were helpful and well informed. Good selection of restaurants available within 5 minutes walk. Breakfast was basic but very acceptable. By... During our recent trip to London we stayed here for two nights. The staff was exceptional. Very friendly, attentive and always willing to help with directions. The room was a little small for three of us but for the value excellent. Hotel within walking distance to various public transportation options. Rooms were very clean and comfortable.

My colleagues Pippa Swanton and Andy Dowell recommend this hotel to anyone needing a home from home in London. I don't think they let Dead Goats stay but they knew Flippant and Epic Uncle Andy by name and always made them welcome. Some small rooms and some big ones. Too clean to take livestock in. Plenty of oats for breakfast... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
