I am afraid that when we arrived at the Hanover Hotel (near Victoria Station) I was a little taken aback. The outside looks just like all the other 'Victorian' facades) in and around the same streets. I guess it was originally a Grand Residence. However not so 'Grand' anymore. It had certainly seen better days. The 'Reception Entrance' seemed 'under... More

We took our 8year old for 1night in London this looked like a lovely little hotel to stay in close to Victoria train station (8min walk away)... On arrival the hotel is clearly having a lot of work done to it, there was no attempts by the staff to apologise for any disruption or anything, although staff were polite. No... More

Stayed one night on Mon 13th April 2015 and chose it for location. Staff were very welcoming and although there is no lift they offered to carry our bags. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast room was well managed and staff were friendly and quick to clear away and replenish the cereals/milk/toast etc. It was very helpful that when... More

Cheap and cheerful. Rooms tired, dinning area cramped. Building works going on in main reception so dusty mess awaits your arrival. Wifi very slow. If you can spend the extra money to stay elsewhere Id strongly recommend it. Apart from that it did the job.

Stay well clear booked one night as website doesn't let u finish booking until you stipulate how many nights so I booked one night I turned out that the room I'd book was only for day use effectively only booked for six hours and paid £53 and that had to find another hotel and pay £75 even though on printout... Used this hotel as near Victoria Apollo theatre. Clean and reasonable size room. Shower had part missing which we reported immediately and was supposed to be fixed but wasn't. Moved to a different room for second night. Breakfast was continental but fine. Would use again as price was good.

I think this hotel is just okay. It gives the most what you can get for this price. And it is at a really great location. We stayed here for one night and I think this hotel is a great choice for a short stay.

The hotel is in a good location, walking distance to victoria coach/underground and Pimlico tube as well as Sloane square, and lot of restaurants. The room was very nice, but with a view into an alleyway so absolutely no light into the room. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, quite a small room so when it is... More

We have stayed at the Hanover Hotel for a number of years with a school party of twenty teenagers. The staff have been extremely welcoming and have gone out of their way to make our stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. The rooms are clean and well resourced. Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
