We found this hotel to be in an excellent location just down the road from Victoria coach and train station. It was also handy for the open top bus tours and can recommend Golden Tours for tickets for attractions etc in the Colonnades. Back to the hotel it suited our needs, we wanted to be out & about in London... More

Just spent one night at The Hanover Hotel with my sister & mum. 5 minutes walk from Victoria train & coach stations. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds and the hotel was clean. Only negative point was the breakfast room was very small and very warm. I'd stay here again. We had a triple room which was 2 double beds. I emailed... More

Paper thin walls, could hear showers/taps working and toilets flushing, very disconcerting. Breakfast was very basic, to say the least and continental, well sort of ?. Something of a world record to manage to get salami that thin and round. If it was not for the fact that the reception staff were helpful and friendly, I would give it a... More

I was very dissapointed with the size of the room, the pictures really lies! The room LG2 had also a bad smell. On the curtain there where big stains, so we didnt want to touch it. The rest of the room was clean, inkluding the bathroom.

Other reviews seem very mixed but we found it to be acceptable for our one night stay which I imagine is typical of their clientele. Reception staff were efficient and helpful and we saw no sign of the builders mentioned in other recent reviews. Indeed the place was well decorated and clean. Our room was in the basement but none... More

We stayed here for one night while in London for a show. The location is good - a few minutes walk from Victoria station and the theatre and restaurants. The booking and check-in process all went smoothly. The room was small and basic but was clean and we had everything we needed. Breakfast was good enough. If you're on a... More

I am afraid that when we arrived at the Hanover Hotel (near Victoria Station) I was a little taken aback. The outside looks just like all the other 'Victorian' facades) in and around the same streets. I guess it was originally a Grand Residence. However not so 'Grand' anymore. It had certainly seen better days. The 'Reception Entrance' seemed 'under... More

We took our 8year old for 1night in London this looked like a lovely little hotel to stay in close to Victoria train station (8min walk away)... On arrival the hotel is clearly having a lot of work done to it, there was no attempts by the staff to apologise for any disruption or anything, although staff were polite. No... More

Stayed one night on Mon 13th April 2015 and chose it for location. Staff were very welcoming and although there is no lift they offered to carry our bags. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast room was well managed and staff were friendly and quick to clear away and replenish the cereals/milk/toast etc. It was very helpful that when... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
