The hotel is straightforward to find and is less than 10 minutes walk from Victoria Railway Station or the coach station. It would be less than 5 minutes in a taxi. The reception was very quick and professional. My room was in the basement and was fairly spacious for this area of London. It was at the back of the... More

3 guys spending 2 days at the Test Match so this is what is needed. More a guesthouse than hotel - no bar, no lounge facilities and no lift. As this ranges over 4 floors there could be a problem for less mobile guests. Smallish room with access on to a balcony that is shared by the room next door... More

The room was small and basic, but it's location was so good that I was ok to compromise the fact that it was so basic with the fact that I was so close to London centre. For the price you pay you do get an excellent location, so you can't complain really. The breakfast wasn't for me as unfortunately I... More

Room was very small. Claustrophobic to say the least, basement room en suite bathroom smelt terribly but was sorted out by an 84p bottle of bleach from local Sainsburys. No plug for sink to have a wash either. Breakfast was continental and extremely cramped. Couldn't change room though as hotel was fully booked.

This is a basic hotel near Victoria station, with a tiny tiny room on the fourth floor with no elevator and extremely tight staircase to get there. It was hot with a small fan, the breakfast is very very basic and barely decent.

We enjoyed the stay in the area. Victoria with its' surroundings really is spectacular. Closeby communications with bus, train and plane from Gatwick. Although prices in London as far as buses and trains are a bit steep. The same goes for the hotel. Two nights for a family room is not ok in my book. But it seems to be... More

We stayed in a triple room for 3 nights and room was cleaned daily. Reception staff were very helpful and we accessed tiny communal shower on arrival as rooms were not available early and we'd arrived from long Sydney flight. Hotel also provided a washing service for clothes - big bag for gdp8. Big tip - as no lifts at... More

On checking in we were told our room was 306 but no lifts available. No one asked if we had health issues and were we ok with climbing loads of stairs. The room was very small with little clothes stowage for 5 days worth of clothes so you are forever in each others coat pockets.2 lights not working on arrival... More

i booked in to the hotel at lunch time but room not ready till 1:30 pm so left bag in bag store, looked a bit dodgy as any one could walk in and out, it is next to reception and there are camera's but I would suggest not getting there till 1:30 pm, there are plenty of coffee shops and... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
