Shabby rooms, tatty finishings, chipped paint work, old sheets, dingy decor, filthy carpet and I mean really filthy with massive stains, the carpet should have been taken to the tip a long time ago. But the worst part was the black pubic hairs in the bed. I was horrified, so i pulled back the sheets of the extra bed, yep... More

I booked this hotel not expecting much after the reviews on trip advisor, but it was better than expected. Yes the rooms are on the small side and yes the lower rooms do have noise pollution from the road. But honestly what do you expect in central London at the price you are paying?! We were in a top floor... More

Hotel situated in a very good location for transport to central London and 30min by foot. Room was tiny, only way to open my suitcase was to put in on the bed. Shower wasn't very clean. Breakfast very disapointing as staff couldn't keep up with toasting bread, shop bought croissants were rather dry and little choice. You basically get what... More

Nice hotel regarding the money that you are paying! The room we got was small but cute and clean. They also offer free coffee, boiler and tea in the room as well as free wifi. We did not eat any breakfast there, so I cannot comment on that.

I stayed over in a room for one night only as it was booked for me by a friend. I woke up to blood on the sheets. Then I saw bed bugs in the bed so I demanded another room. The staff at the personnel played dumb but gave me another room. Inspecting the linen in the other room I... More

I stayed here for the evening for my work Christmas party as I only had a budget of £60. The location is great, only 5 minute walk from Victoria Station, and really easy to find. The reception is minimalistic, with a small vending machine with cold drinks, crisps, and chocolate. The gentleman at reception was really lovely and very helpful,... More

Nice, residential district. The location is not bad, by far "calmer" is to use Pimlico underground station than Victoria (pretty enjoyable way streets, less traffic). This "hotel" is really a hostel converted to a hotel. Surely this is not a real hotel. Let's say it's a hostel class "+". Very narrow stairs, small rooms, VERY small bed, bathroom with shower... Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
