Good value, Great Location, Basic Decor wise but clean and tidy with lovely products in the rooms, it's a shame the fixtures and fittings and decor were not luxurious because it wouldn't take much investment to bring it up a few levels.

Excellent little boutique hotel. Staff could not be more helpful. The room service and the freshly made menu is first class. I visit The Royal Marsden regularly and I can't believe I've found such a perfect place to stay. It's also so close to The Kings Road for some retail therapy after appointments!

Very good hotel close to the Royal Brompton and the Royal Marsden Hospitals. The hotel was very clean, the room was very comfortable. The bed was huge, had a good night's sleep. Tea and coffee tray provided in room at our request. The breakfast cost extra, but there was plenty to eat. Our room was in the front overlooking the... More

Sydney House Chelsea is a perfect hotel in London: excellent location, superb staff and delicious staff. Room was cozy and clean. Within walking distance, we could hit on 2 museums and find some nice and authentic restaurants. The hotel is close to Knightsbridge, and it is rather easy for us to get a cab or uber to White City. We... More

We booked this hotel in combination with a visit to Gordon Ramsay's Restaurant as it is only a short taxi ride away. The location is great, walking distance to the King's Road. It is a typical townhouse and you can hardly recognise it as a hotel from the outside (our taxi went past the first time). I recommend booking a... More

Chose this hotel as it was close to Royal Marsden Hospital. Lovely Boutique hotel in Chelsea - close to Kings Road and just off Fulham Road. Service was lovely. Went up to Ivy on Kings Road for breakfast. 5 minute taxi ride into SoHo. Would return and recommend to anyone.

this is a terrific small hotel, close to South Kensington tube station and Sloane Square. Very well situated for the museums, shops, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and many other attractions. The staff were very friendly and professional and the room was very comfortable. I think it's great value for money.

Great Location for Chelsea / Royal Marsden Hospital Very comfortable and clean. Unusual in that front desk staff do not have much local knowledge (eg couldn't give directions to Bibendum (400m away) or knew that the Marsden was the hospital next door.) Good breakfast though.

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
