Well, where do I start! Fab hotel, fab location, fab staff, fantastic beds, gorgeous food... the list is endless. I have visited london at least three times a year over the past few years for leisure purposes and have always stayed at nice hotels. However, this hotel has, by far, been the best yet. We travel a lot globally and... More

Went this weekend, booked week before ,based on reviews, and photos. 3 day break Dump, not a patch on the photo on the site, and the photos are very miss leading, they do not represent Kensington hotel they are of all of there hotels. Dirty smelly, some staff very helpful very disorganised , small rooms, we were shown 3 different... More

Hotel is situated a 5 minute casual walk from the tube station making it perfect for a stay in London. It's situated on a quiet road too so no noise of hustle, bustle or traffic. Check- in was great, lovely to have the door service, felt like royalty! Room was very clean, although my only criticism is that the superior... More

The rooms might be a bit small, but equipped with hairdryer, ironing board and minibar. Bathroom with shower and bathtub. Everything was clean and modern. Staff was very nice and helpful with everything from transport to local restaurants. Overall a great experience.

I don't recommend this hotel. Even if we booked a deluxe room, the room is very too small, no bathroom only a very small shower room, you can't be 2 people in the this shower room even with a child, (as I was with my daughter). The beds are too small even if we are small in stature.. and the... More

On arrival at the hotel my colleagues and I were in a rush to check in due to meetings that evening. The check in process was extremely slow with staff pausing the process to answer phones. An old fashioned method of taking card payments (taking an imprint of the card and then using a marker to cover private information), rather... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
