We stayed for one week as a couple. The room was very nice with comfortable and tasteful furnishing. There was a double bed, a nice dressing table, full-length mirror, a reasonable wardrobe space, safety box, flat-screen, mini-bar with coffee/tea making and plenty of lighting possibilities. If I was to say one thing, maybe the double bed could have been a... More

Great hotel, nice furnitures and rooms. Convenient location close to Earls court tube station; Excellent staff. Many thanks to Anna for her support and all the advises she gave me for the city tours, restaurants etc, very precuous and well-trained, always smiling and welcoming.

We stayed in a standard double room, it was a big enough room for me and my sister to share. well lit with nice views. The first morning i ordered room service for breakfast and it wasn't very warm. Was a lack of air conditioning. Great location, 5 minute walk to the high street and Earls Court tube station.

We stayed in a club room which was very spacious, clean and modern. The only disappointing thing was the poor standard of instant coffee in the room, it should be something a bit more up market to suit the hotel. Breakfast the next day was excellent and all staff very friendly. I will stay again and recommend to friends.

Stayed here on the night of our Son's and Fiancé engagement party. Brilliant location, easy walk to Earls Court tube. The porter, reception and restaurant staff went out of their way to be helpful, a real personal touch made us feel like individuals. The room was excellent, clean tidy, well lit, adequate space, quiet and an easy to operate safe.... More

Lovely greeting by very courteous and friendly staff. We had originally booked at the Shaftesbury Avenue hotel as it was walking distance to the theatre we had booking at but refurb problems meant they had to move us here. We were a little concerned at first due to the long distance to the theatre but the hotel arranged our taxis... More

I booked the hotel for a surprise birthday surprise that ended up being a mini birthday/honeymoon stay. The hotel was lovely, staff at reception great even when I was useless at checking in (didn't have the card I booked with as it was cancelled), they upgraded our room and included breakfast on both mornings. Room was a lot bigger then... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
