This is a fantastic hotel in every way. On my arrival the staff were so friendly and helpful. I was travelling on my own and was given a beautiful room, one of the best in the Hotel. I do a lot of business in London and now that I have discovered this hotel I will use it most often. It... More

We spent three nights at the Park Grand Kensington and are glad we did. We had concert tickets at the Royal Albert Hall and this location was good access to that. We arrived from Heathrow on the Heathrow Express to Paddington Station and it was a short walk down the street to this hotel. The location was even better than... More

Had they hotel booked for me at the last minute and was concerned that it would be a bit disappointing,,,it wasn't. Only a two minute walk from the tube, loads of restaurants around on Hogarth place and the street parallel as well as Earls Court Road or walking to Old Brompton st. Room was an Ok size but very comfortable... More

We liked actually everything about it. The location is good, the room is good, spacious, friendly staff. If your room is on the first floor, you might hear passers by talking, but the street is very calm so at least in our case it was not a problem at all.

I booked the hotel on a non-refundable 'early bird' rate which meant that it was cheaper than usual. The room was very nice, with a lovely bathroom, my only small grumble is that we were allocated a basement room with a window that looked onto 2 brick walls, and I don't know whether this would have been the case had... This hotel has a very good location, close to Earls Court Tube station. It is located in a quiet street, so we were not disturbed by traffic, even though our room was facing the street. The staff was very polite, friendly and helpful. We were always greeted with a smile and a hello when going in or out. As the... More

Friendly, modern and reasonable. Good quality first class hotel. It may be a good idea to let the porter take you up to your room and make sure that they show you the controls for the air-condition, the bathroom floor heater, the bathroom off switch for the exhaust near the ceiling. Also the electronic “do not disturb” and “make up... More

The Park Grand Kensington is a very good hotel, rooms were comfortable and very well maintained, bed was very good with excellent pillows, bathroom had very good shower, tiny criticism only one regular tea bag, not much use for two when you don't want flavoured tea in the morning, otherwise a good experience which I would recommend.

This hotel is in a very convenient spot for museum visits, shopping and for notable events as it is close to Earl's Court underground. The hotel itself is a more modern building situated amongst beautiful villa buildings. The decor is modern and clean with lovely light fittings. We stayed for only one night in a room that whilst adequate in... More

Hotel is very convenient for Earls Court Tube station, being about a 2 minute walk from the front of the station. The hotel is modern (8 years) and spotlessly clean. The staff were great, we arrived early but they sorted out a room for us with the minimum of fuss. There was some traffic noise at the front of the... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
