Could not fault this hotel in any way. Quiet area. Just a straightforward 2 minute walk from Earls Court tube station. Spotlessly clean. Tea & coffee making facilities. Complimentary water & nibbles. Microwave. In room safe. Hairdryer. Plenty of soft white towels in the beautiful bathroom. Nice TV. Blackout curtains & lovely staff. We would stay here again next time... More

Nice friendly staff and clean room but very small for a double, We had to move sideways around the side of the bed to be able to access the wardrobe and had to sit on bed to access the room safe. Good enough for a short stay though and really close to tube and local restaurants. Excellent breakfast

My husband & I stayed here for 2 nights and would definitely recommend it to others. It is a very short walk from Earls Court tube station and in a great location to get to all areas of London - we went to the West End on Wednesday night and into Wimbledon the following day - neither of which were... Only 1 block from Earl's Court Rail Station that connects with Piccadilly rail line that can get you anywhere in London. London's rail system is very effecient-you can get to Heathrow in 20-30 minutes with no problem from Earl' Court. Front of the Hotel is quiet with little traffic. Nice little workout area in basement. A couple of nice little... More

We stayed at the Park Grand in for 3 nights during the last week of March 2015. Its a great hotel, clean tidy and for us located in the right place. All the staff where great, check in and check out was easy and problem free. We arrived at the hotel before the room was ready, but they took our... More

This place is on the edge of Kensington - really easy from Earls Court Tube - street is a little shabby - but it is close to museums etc. Cocktail bar staff didn't know what a martini was? Other staff were helpful - rooms are OK and just as pictured - bit pricey - Welcome to London - probably some... More

A group of colleagues and I were booked into this hotel by a company that we had requested to arrange our accommodation and transport. My colleagues were to stay two nights and I was arriving for the second night. When they checked in there was confusion over the booking, everything was in my name and I was not arriving in... More

A really good hotel. Great for tourists as it is close to Earls Court tube that gives quick access to much if London and Heathrow airport. My room was small but very comfortable. Staff were great, doing their very best to accommodate my early arrival at the hotel after an overnight flight. I had the breakfast which was multicultural, but still... More

We arrived on Friday night sent by the London Park Paddington who had obviously done surbooking (we were not the only ones to be sent to Kensington). Staff was not very happy to get more customers. We were offered either a large room in the basement with NO window (couldn't breath), or a very small room at floor 0 with... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
