We got a really good deal for this hotel and as it is in central London I was not expecting a great deal but in fact there was so much to praise about this hotel. Reception staff were extremely helpful as in fact were all the staff. Without exception they couldn't do enough for us, even down to staff on... More

Booked this for a one night stay for my wifes 50th birthday. About two or three mins walk from earls court tube station it is easy to find and a great location on a fairly quiet street of regency terraced properties. We were greeted by Ruxi (Note to management, she is simply superb) who went out her way to make... More

We stayed here for one night and you couldn't ask for anything more from this hotel. We booked the smallest room and it was massive. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. I had requested a bath which we received. The staff were just a delight. They knew it was our anniversary and left us... More

We chose this hotel using Trip advisor comment and its location near a London Hospital we were attending early morning. The hotel staff could not have been more courteous and helpful. The room was very comfortable and our meal in the restaurant, we chose to eat in, was well cooked and served by a very pleasant waitress. I am sure... More

Just returned from a fab one night stay at the Park Grand Kensington as a birthday treat. I booked through the website with an advanced price deal including breakfast. We were given an upgraded room (508) which was amazing and the hotel even put balloons and chocolates in my room which was so thoughtful. Excellent facilities 5 minutes from Earls... More

The Park Grand is excellent value, clean, modern, great staff and only 2 mins walk from... More

Ok... so after reading the numerous good / negative reviews we (2 adults + 10mth baby boy Freddie) decided to book a short stay on the 25th-28th January. This hotel is approx. 5 min walk max to the hotel from Earl's court underground station and really easy to find. We arrived at the hotel to discover about 10 stairs up... More

I found the hotel and the staff excellent and made my stay in London a great experience. The room was superb, the bed excellent, the toilet facilities and tub were excellent. I and my wife felt like royalty and were treated as such. I strongly recommend this hotel. Mr Aijaz was very helpful as a staff night manger, bellmen, front... More

I stayed here with my partner for my birthday weekend and the hotel had arranged balloons, chocolate and a card in the room on arrival which was a lovely! A great location, close to Earls Court, yet tucked away in a quiet side street. Rooms comfortable, staff pleasant and helpful, breakfast good. Overall very good and I will probably stay again if I am in this area.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
