After reading some of the not-so-positive reviews about long waits at check-in and musty rooms, I must have been very fortunate to get the room which I stayed for 4 days. At the top floor, it is small (as usual) but is very clean and looks new. As someone has mentioned earlier, the multiple sockets at the dressing table are... More

We booked into this hotel because our daughter lives across the road. As it turns it I think that it is a great value for money hotel. Our room happens to be quite big ... room 416 ... the others are smaller ... I guess we got lucky. It is very clean and the staff are pleasant. We haven't eaten... More

This hotel is a very nice hotel in a very good location close lo the Earl Court underground station. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast with a variety of food to choose from. The only reservation is the rooms under the firs floor. They are difficult to reach so ask for an upper floor. Free wifi... More

We stayed from my partners 50th birthday in early November and overall were very impressed by the hotel. Rooms were really contemporary and nicely furnished. Cleanliness was spot on - absolutely nothing to complain about in this respect! We did book one of the larger rooms though and it was worth it as I suspect that the smaller rooms would... More

Overall I was very disappointed with the hotel. I have stayed in lots of hotels and this appealed to me for our 1 night stay in London due to location and price. To start with there was one receptionist and a queue of 6 people checking in, and 4 porters just stood there surely one of these should be trained... More

Although the (top floor) room is relatively small, it is clean and pretty well equipped. There're mutliple sockets on the dressing table (usb, HDMI, etc) which proved to be very useful when charging few gadgets at a go. The check-in is pretty swift and the reception/ doormen were ready to help when needed. Yes the street outside the hotel may... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed for 2 nights mid week and could not fault our stay in anyway, staff warm, friendly and always ready to help. The location was ideal for our needs only a 2 minute walk from Earls Court tube station, Room and facilities were first class for the price we payed. Will defiantly use again.

I've been staying in Chelsea hotels (usually the same ones) with my fiancé for over 5 years now and It's the first time that we've stayed in such a filthy establishment. But first Let's talk about their customer service. We've reached out to the hotel a couple of weeks upon arrival to ask if we could check in earlier and we... More

This is a decent hotel but I will try a different one next time we visit. My wife and I stayed for our 10th anniversary recently and it started off a little rocky. First of all, I tried contacting the hotel for at least a week using the email address on their website with no response. I eventually found their... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
