I booked this hotel specifically to stay in Kensington and planned our time away based on the area. On the day, and for the second time that I have booked a Park Grand hotel, we were informed that there was a "maintenance error", which I assume is code for overbooked given this has happened twice, and moved yet again to... Ideally situated 3 mins walk from Earls Court tube. Shops, restaurants, pubs close by. Warm welcome. Very well designed, appointed room and bathroom. Would have been ideal for 1 night, BUT it was freezing and that was largely due to the fact that it was in the labyrinthine basement, and room 15 had french doors, which must have been single... I found the hotel and the staff magnificent and made my stay in London an awesome affair. The room was radiant, the bed brilliant, the can offices and tub were astounding. I and my wife felt like sovereignty and were dealt with all things considered. I emphatically suggest this inn. Mr Aijaz was extremely useful as a staff night trough,... More

What a lovely hotel in a super location. The staff are really friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent with lots of selection. Our room was upgraded - thank you. Also thank you for the birthday card, balloons and the box of chocolates we were celebrating my birthday!! Just 2 minutes’ walk from Earls Court Tube station, handy for plenty... More

We got a really good deal for this hotel and as it is in central London I was not expecting a great deal but in fact there was so much to praise about this hotel. Reception staff were extremely helpful as in fact were all the staff. Without exception they couldn't do enough for us, even down to staff on... More

Booked this for a one night stay for my wifes 50th birthday. About two or three mins walk from earls court tube station it is easy to find and a great location on a fairly quiet street of regency terraced properties. We were greeted by Ruxi (Note to management, she is simply superb) who went out her way to make... More

We stayed here for one night and you couldn't ask for anything more from this hotel. We booked the smallest room and it was massive. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. I had requested a bath which we received. The staff were just a delight. They knew it was our anniversary and left us... More

We chose this hotel using Trip advisor comment and its location near a London Hospital we were attending early morning. The hotel staff could not have been more courteous and helpful. The room was very comfortable and our meal in the restaurant, we chose to eat in, was well cooked and served by a very pleasant waitress. I am sure... More

Just returned from a fab one night stay at the Park Grand Kensington as a birthday treat. I booked through the website with an advanced price deal including breakfast. We were given an upgraded room (508) which was amazing and the hotel even put balloons and chocolates in my room which was so thoughtful. Excellent facilities 5 minutes from Earls... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
