Tiny room, previous reviews have suggested you shouldn't expect more in London - not true! 203 so small the door hit the bed when you tried to get in the bathroom door hit the bed on the other side. Had to walk sideways to get past TV to bathroom. Thankfully I was travelling alone if there had been two of... More

Now we're do I start... Checking in was simple also fast and honestly the only good review about the hotel. We got given what I can only say was the dungeon room (827) down step steps then along to the end of a corridor next to a staff only door that was a massive mistake. Room it's self was so... More

We travelled from Euston using Northern line to Leicester Sqr, then the Piccadilly line to Gloucester rd using contactless payment bankcards on the underground which only cost £2.30. The hotel is about 50yds from the station on the other side of Cromwell rd, turn directly left into waitrose Mall then as you come out you can see the hotel across... More

We loved our stay at the Best Western The Cromwell not only because the hotel was reasonable priced and the room was clean and comfortable and we also had a porch outside our sliding glass door which was perfect to sit out on in the mornings with a cup of tea but also in the evenings after a long day... Great staff, clean sheets, air conditioning that works, free wifi. A supermarket, restaurants and tube station across the road. Perfect ingredients for a business traveller Some of the rooms are very small though (303 and 207) Always ask for a larger one. Staff can be a bit forgetful with adding loyalty points however it's easy to do on the website.

As this was only a one nighter with my company paying, I give it five stars. Great location, easy for public transport or walking. The room was a basic room, comfortable bed not much outside noise. No view, but I didn't expect one at this location. Would recommend for this area.

My partner and I were extremely disappointed with the room (prison cell) as we were on floor -1 (826) we had the view of a brick wall and hardly any daylight. The room was very small for 2 people, both with suitcases. Wifi signal was very poor. Also felt extremely overpriced for my experience. Although, despite the disappointment of the... More

This hotel is in a good location and seems very nice on the outside. However, if you are staying here DO NOT let them put you in the Dungeon (aka the name we gave to the basement floor). Our room (824) was in the deepest depths of the dungeon. The room was tiny and barely had a wifi signal. You... More

The window won't stay open The tv doesn't work The WiFi signal is very weak and keeps disconnecting It's the tiniest hotel room I've ever seen (and I've been to Paris on the cheap) The ceiling in the en-suite is mouldy/mildewy I know you pay for the location but Christ, at over £140 per night with no breakfast, this is... Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
