Well located to the tube. Lovely entrance area and well decorated restaurant. Nice touch having the affiliation with Starbucks so you know you can get a decent hot drink. Staff were pleasant and responded well to requests. The room feels slightly cramped at the foot of the bed but the amazing views across London made up for it!

We stayed overnight, very handy for Gloucester Road tube 2 mins walk away. Lots of restaurants nearby. Not sure I would choose this hotel for a long stay as the rooms are small and the bathroom was tiny. But we agreed it was a good choice fir our trip.

I originally tried to check in early but was informed that my room was not available. I had book a few rooms as there was a group of friends with me. One of the rooms was a twin but because of my status with IHG, the room was 'upgraded' to an Executive King. I eventually checked in late as we... More

My wife and I visited London recently. We looked for a reasonably priced London Hotel. This is always difficult with London hotels typically 2x what you would pay outside the capital. Not so with this hotel, where a twin room and an excellent breakfast cost well under £150. This is excellent value. The hotel has good facilities, good staff and... More

Location for taking the Tube and getting around London is excellent...just around the corner from the hotel is the station....Also Paul's is a small restaurant/bakery for great pastry...straight across the street from the Tube Station...It's a high rise hotel but it was very comfortable...quite and such a good location for the airport...just get on the Tube and it takes you... Stayed here with colleagues for leisure stay back in June. The hotel in general was ok, nice for a holiday inn so an average stay. However, when it came to the service I got when I left my brand new dress in the wardrobe, this was unacceptable. Rang them up and they stated it was company policy to pay £10... More

I booked this hotel last Friday -17th July 2015 and received confirmation in form of an e mail immediately. Everything went through perfectly. However, I received an e mail today - 22nd July, asking me to contact Holiday Inn Kensington Inn as a matter of urgency. I phoned them and have just been told that a mistake had been made... More

This has got to be one of the nastiest hotels I have ever stayed in. The room smelled of urine, there were no drinking glasses, the chair was stained, the bathtub was filthy and the a/c blew hot air even when on the lowest setting. Holiday Inn should be ashamed of this place. Management couldn't have cared less. Stay away!

I stayed at the Kensington Forum for one week. The room was comfortable with good views of the city. Bed comfortable, Coffee, tea available in room. Small bar refrigerator in room. No safe in room. Reasonable size cupboard provided and ironing board and iron available on request. The bathroom is small but adequate. The bathroom had a bath and also... More

Stay here for weekend, the place had almost have all amenities needed. We were upgraded to executive room. The place is clean and neat. Aside from i find the room a little cramped (the distance of the bed from the tv cupboard) we really had a good night sleep.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
