Juro and Helen made our recent stay at The Gore absolutely perfect! They were very kind and personable and went out of their way to make us feel welcome! The hotel is charming in every way and in a wonderful location, one block south of Hyde Park and around the corner from the V&A. We loved every minute of it!

Service is truly impeccable! The rooms are spotless. This is the best place to stay if you're going to attend an event at the Royal Albert Hall. The concierge told me that the hotel if often the hotel of choice for conductors who perform at the Hall.

Quirky hotel with worryingly massive Union Jack at entrance. Our top floor room was four-poster, rather small, but pretty enough. Toilet bowl in bathroom was up two steps (yes, quirky). Watch nee-naws go by from cosy lounge.

We went to meet up with family who were resident here. We discovered a luxurious hotel which has to be classed as 'boutique', but also has elements that would be more expected of large London hotels such as Ritz or Savoy. A knowledgeable concierge, a la carte dining, very well equipped rooms with a/c and flat screen tv. There are... More

Our visit began with a delicious champagne afternoon tea, the scones were some of the best I have ever had. Our room was compact but had a delightful balcony overlooking Queen's Gate where we watched the world go by. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom a delight. The wardrobe was very small, not sure how we would have... More

Lovely hotel in a great location for hyde park and the Albert hall. Quite expensive but then it is London! On arrival receptionist was the most welcoming and didn't really listen to my questions but the lady on departure was lovely

Used The Gore for the 2nd time and I still find it a very pleasant venue and leave feeling we have been very well looked after. £17.50 for an English Breakfast is a tad steep but it was very difficult to fault. Two minus but trivial points.....I was not offered any choice of toast (brown/white) and coffee refills are hard... More

I had a wonderful stay at the Gore Hotel. The stay were extremely friendly and attentive. The room, although small, was beautiful. The bar was inviting and the breakfast lovely. It is an extremely beautiful building and I couldn't have been happier.

We stayed in the Dame Nellie suite which is still beautiful but could do with a freshen up, it looked a bit tatty. The mirror had a big corner missing, there is no i pod dock or music and no free Wi Fi.

I was charged a full day of internet when I only used 3 minutes, even though they break it down hourly. It might have been my logout error. Smallish but charming rooms. The bar is cool. Still, I love this hotel.
