Was greeted by an excellent and helpful receptionist - room was pleasant and there was a good sized bathroom with lots of helpful accessories. Breakfast was fine and served in a well appointed space. Green tea was available.

We stayed for one night and the room was in a quiet location, friendly and helpful staff and a very comfortable nights sleep, good breakfast. It had everything we needed and was near pubs and a very nice D&D (Kensington Place) restaurant. Nice stay.

sometimes TA reviews make me despair - yes this is an old building and yes the rooms are decorated to match this - and yes the rooms are on the small side - but, dear reader, this is London, the most expensive capital in the world. This hotel is placed 3 mins from the tube, shops and eateries (inc a... More

This hotel is literally a few yards away from Notting Hill Gate tube. I was made to feel really welcome. My room was clean and had everything I needed. The location is superb and near many restaurants.

Was travelling with 5 other family members - booked 2 doubles and 1 twin room. Great location close to Notting Hill Gate tube station (a street off the High Street at Notting Hill) and Portobello Road. So there is some street and walking traffic going past, but there is always a trade off in that regard. Taxis found the accommodation... More

My husband and I spent a few days in London and decided to stay at the Abbey Court Hotel. For many people it might look a bit old fashioned, but we simply loved the interior and enjoyed the stay. Our room with four-poster was small but sufficient for us (we didn't intend to dance in the room ;o) Everything was... More

Got a cheap room from Booking.com. Very nice hotel but we got a dinky room downstairs. A double with ensuite. A little bit on the cosy small size but had all the things needed for our stay. Comfortable, clean bed, clean towels, extra pillows, Working TV and hot drink facilities. No internet though and our own phone wifi had problems... More

For nine nights we enjoyed the hospitality and convenience of Abbey Court Hotel in Notting Hill Gate. This hotel is a short walk from Notting Hill Gate underground with plenty of cafes and shops in the vicinity and a couple of laundrettes as well. The staff at the hotel were excellent and very accommodating of our needs and requests. We... More

We paid for 3 nights but left after one! Badly in need of maintenance. Peeling wallpaper, dirty carpets and dust and cobwebs! Also there was more water leaking out of the shower hose than the shower head itself. No elevator was stated but no help was offered with our very heavy bags! We moved to the Hilton just down the... Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
