Came to the hotel in a taxi and where met by a kind porter. At that point we had great expectations to see our rooms. Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed when we saw our rooms. The double room were really small, so small that we at first thought it was a single room. We had ordered the standard room,... More

Stayed here for 1 night 8th December , room was ok bit on small size to hotels I've stayed in before. Bathroom was clean but there was only one bath towel and one hand towel for two of us to share. What can I say about breakfast it was like being back at school queuing for cold baked beans hard... More

I was booked in here as I was in London for work purposes and stayed for 3 nights. Perhaps this is more of a comparative review but it was MUCH better than the Tavistock Hotel which my organisation used previously but got fed up with the complaints about it. Other reviewers mention the location which for shopping and the British... More

Stayed at the St Giles hotel just off Tottenham Court Rd for 2 nights, 6th and 7th December. I had a single room which was small but perfectly formed. The hotel was extremely busy all the time, but reception staff were up to the challenge. The location is excellent for all the places we wanted to see, and the hotel... More

At the corner of Oxford Str/Tottenham Court Rd this hotel is perfect located for London shopping, and still only 5-10 mins walk to London nightlife in Soho, Leicester Sq, Covent Garden etc.. Rooms are very tiny, and the comfort is so so... Beds are hard, ventilation non-existing, and bathroom old and small, but OK. Opening windows works, but prepare for... More

I stayed at the St Giles hotel when I was in London early December 2012 for my holidays. I booked a twin bed room with an attached bath which was clean, comfortable but small. My package came with the English breakfast and the buffet spread was commendable for the price that I have paid. The hotel is surrounded by many... More

During my stay at this crap hotel, I went to Sainsburys that night just to buy Airwick spray to help my breathing as the level of stink in the room was incredible!! Honestly, the smell of the room was stinky. I'd say we are humans, can't sleep or eat in a place like this!! it should be rated as 1... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
