Comfy beds! Quiet night, great location, room a little 'tired' but good value- Scottish man on concierge desk- sarcastic & minus a smile! Chris at concierge desk very welcoming, helpful and huge smile. Minute from Tube station and if to see London is the reason for your trip then the hotel location is brilliant.

Stayed here on business for a couple of nights. To sum up my experience of the hotel the word basic shouts out at you. The receptionists were friendly enough but once checked in or retrieving the key I often had a long wait for the elevators which generally had long queues at night. The room was barely basic. En suite... More

800 rooms. So i never ate breakfast. Mostly because of the que. The rooms was nice and clean. Very used. The bathroom (plastic stone looking) tiles was barely hanging on. I think the rooms needs resturation. Bottom line. I did not pay for the stay. i went with work, but i guess its cheap. good location. Staff was friendly and... More

We stayed here on a room only basis for one night in April 2015. The hotel is very close to the tube station and it is situated just off Oxford Street. It is an ideal central location for shopping. We checked in and that is the only time we saw a member of staff. I was not wowed by the... More

This is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed or worked in! The only thing they got going for them is the location. It's close to Oxford St and the underground. The breakfast is better than expected though. But that's it. It looks like a semi fancy hotel when you arrive, but rooms are small, the beds are like... More

busy hotel, huge queues to book in, lifts with a mind of their own, long queues for very mediocre breakfast, bedrooms as small as a touring caravan, scruffy bathroom, no heating, rip off parking prices below hotel, swimming pool/leisure club doesn't belong to hotel it's owned by the YMCA, compulsory gratuity in the attached bar/restaurant whether service is good or... I have stayed here 3 times previously and I mentioned this when checking in, I also said the room we had previously was small and dark. He advised me he could give me a more spacious room with a bath. I thought this is brill, however the room was slightly larger not really much different. Breakfast was ok but a... More

Stayed here for 2 nights while visiting London for my other halfs 40th birthday & I thought it was excellent. Room was small but in all honesty perfect for what we wanted. It was very clean & staff were very friendly & helpful. It has 2 great bars one which is open 24 hours serving food & the Hudson house... More

I booked the hotel and theatre for my husbands birthday. When we arrived to drop our bags off before the theatre we were given room 336 on the third floor. When we walked in to the room I could have cried. The room was so small and dark. It is the smallest double bed I have seen in my life!!... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
