The location is brilliant. 2 min walk from Oxford street. Slightly small rooms, but who cares? It is cleaned daily and well. The bathroom is newly decorated. The reception staff is accommodating. The price is right, and you can spend more on shopping. The breakfast is allright. We paid £393 in total for 3 nights in a 2- single bed... More

First, don't let wide-angle lens photos fool you - the size of the standard rooms is unbelievably small - single standard resembles wardrobe more than a room. Double standard room is a bit bigger, but the bed was only something like 120 cm wide. Based on our experience this hotel is more like two star, not 3. And for 145€... More

This is our second visit to this hotel in 12 months. We stayed in this hotel again as it was exactly where we needed to be for the West End and all the other places we planned to visit. We decided not to take the breakfast optionthis time as you can get something much more substantial at a greasy spoon... More

This hotel is very close to Oxford Street and central London. It could do with up grading and is not a patch on the Liecester Square Premier Inn. It can be a very noisy stay but that is Oxford Street out side and it never sleeps my advice would be wear ear plugs. Breakfast is quite decent.

its whats it all about. The rest is not good. The doble room was very smal, and it was a brief smell from the pool area. The breakfast was....like In the army. A lot of low cost grisly food and a lot of hungry people. So stay away. Find a place nearby. There's a lot of good pubs serving food,... More

Location of hotel is great for Soho, Oxford Street and Theatre District. Tottenham Court Rd tube isn't too far away if you want to hop on the train elsewhere. Hotel is very clean and has good facilities, cafe/bar etc. Only down side is size of the rooms as they are quite small and compact with tiny bathrooms hardly bigger than... More

The plus points - Location giving ease of links around London using bus & tube. First class housekeeping (spotless). Shower room and toiletries OK. We were able to check in early (10:30 am). The price for the location is very competitive. The negative side - We booked an Executive Double expecting to avoid the well known minuscule sized rooms -not... More

Staff were friendly. Room was clean and spacious. A 2 minute walk to both Oxford Street and also the tube (Tottenham Court Road). Easily walkable to all the sights, Leicester square, Soho, Covent Garden, etc. Highly recommended

I have stayed at the St Giles on many occasions and find the location for me needs perfect. It is two mins walk to the tube for convenience to reach anywhere in London. It is a short walk across the street to all the shops of Oxford Street and it is also a ten minute walk from Shaftesbury Ave and... More

Very close to the dominion theatre so ideal if you are seeing a show . If its shopping then Oxford Street is virtually on its doorstep. Also in easy reach of the Thames so ideal for sight seeing. The hotel itself is clean, staff friendly, stayed on the 2nd floor , room was not over big but large enough for a... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
