St. Giles is perfectly located. Close to Soho, Shopping, Oxford Street and underground. The hotel is quite large and the rooms are small with small Windows. The breakfast is ok, but "cafeteria" like with selfservice and very busy. 3 stars are given for the location.

As a last minute booking it was reasonably good value especially for the location. Room well equipped if a little tight, but within walking distance of all central attraction. nb Have to pay a lot extra for wifi, and breakfast, but some really good cafes nearby at less than half the price.

All in all it was a nice stay, but not because of the service in the hotel. It has a great location, 2 min. Walk to the tube, and oxford street is just beside the tube station. Negative: we ordered a room with two single beds, but the room we got had one queen size bed. And we only had... More

I stayed here with my partner for a short few day trip. It did its job really. clean and staff were friendly. Room was only small but that was not a problem. You could not complain for the price. It was cheap and central to everything. I would stay again.

We stayed at the St. Giles for 2 nights on a group tour. I can't complain about the room. It was a nice size and after tours all day, I slept very well. The room was clean as was the bathroom. I didn't eat at the hotel so I can't give a review of the food. My only complaint was... More

My husband and I have just returned from a two night stay at St Giles. This is a great 3 star hotel and well worth the money. We paid £214 for two nights. Excellent value for Central London. The hotel is clean and functional although rooms are small, not an issue to us. We had a double room and the... More

Just had a 3 night theatre break. The room was small but it was clean and more than adequate. The coffee and go breakfast was great. Bacon roll and a coffee is as much as I would want. Biggest problem was queuing for the lifts. It is a big hotel for just 4 small lifts that only take 6 people.... More

Is this a Fraternity House or a hotel? It's actually more like a hostel. As the ex YMCA it is nothing more than a refurbished hostel. The staff are friendly but EVERYTHING IS AN EXTRA. It's not cheap at £115/night. It is in a great location but really does need aircon as the traffic noise is too much to open... More

Great location right off Oxford Street. We didn't avail of the breakfast facilities and chose instead to eat out. Staff could have been more friendly, when checking in it seemed we were some kind of inconvenience rather than guests in the hotel. But thankfully we didn't have much interaction with staff, so that part didn't bother us much. Would stay... More
