This hotel is all about location- it's in the centre of London and has loads of shops/ restaurants and tourist sights on its doorstep. The hotel itself is 'ok'. As others have said the rooms are small- although this isn't uncommon in London. I did find my room to be quite tired- there was a slightly musty smell in it... More

I stayed here for a change to the travelodge. Can't complain about the service and room. Bed was comfortable. Blinds rather than curtains meant I woke up early as the room was light. Breakfast was ok. Quite noisy but no more than I would expect for this very central hotel. It's probably a good hotel for visitors/tourists. Was slightly too... More

The location of the hotel is excellent with a short walk to Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Road underground! I found both of these aspects extremely appealing. In terms of value for money the room is really tiny- great for one but would be a struggle for 2 people to fit everything inside. If you plan on staying in the... More

Great place to stay in the centre of London. Very small rooms but adequate for a solo traveller. Was allowed to check in early so very thankful for that and breakfast is fantastic even if the restaurant resembles a school canteen with people queuing everywhere and not enough tables at 9am. Downsides - pillows are awful and trying to charge... More

The main "plus" for this place is the location right close to the West End theatres, galleries and the British Museum. We had a problem with the room light when we arrived and this was sorted very quickly with no fuss. The rooms are small but, in London, unlees your are Elton John or Sting, they always are! They are... More

Regular visitors to London and will always use this hotel when staying for a long weekend. Location is fabulous, although a bit frustrating that the central line is closed from Tottenham Court Road station at the moment. Waking distance to soho and theatre land. Leisure complex next to hotel provides a good pool and sports facilities but still feel this... More

This is a nice enough hotel in a fantastic location. Rooms aren't huge but it's about a minutes walk from Oxford St. It's been clean and warm every time I have stayed here. Ideal for a few days in London and very very central -

The location is great, between the British Museum and Tottenham Court Road tube, and it's clean. Rooms are tiny, but you are not in London to spend time in your room. I got a good price via a hotel booking website, and when I arrived they upgraded me and included a free breakfast, which I had not paid for. Two... More

I stayed here last week when I was in London for a conference. Located right next to Oxford Street it's a great location for shopping and sightseeing, with great transport links. However the hotel itself leaves a lot to be desired, my room was very small with basic facilities and surrounded by construction sites. The breakfast was adequate but very... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
