Stayed in this hotel for the London Marathon - positives ....... Excellent recommendation from Craig on the desk for somewhere to eat....... location to tube station and local amenities. Negatives - Rooms small, very noisy (I asked for a quiet room but manged 2 poor nights sleep), extra charges for internet, breakfast awful. All in all a total waste of... More

Brilliant location close to underground or easy walk to Covent Garden, soho at start of Oxford street for shopping. Recommend room 716 easy accessible via lifts. Rooms are small but has a separate sitting room with TV ideal for short stay. Rooms are clean and Suitcases can be left securely on last day whilst you go touring/shopping. Next time in... More

Its veey close to The Barbican theatre. Our room was a little on the small side but was fine. We dont go to London... More

All in all a positive experience, but a few irritating flaws. The hotel is ideally situated at Tottenham Court Road. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. The breakfast is very good for a London hotel, with scrambled eggs and bacon. The capacity in the breakfast restaurant is too small for all the guests. Go latest 0730 to have... More

Went down to complain and they did change our room however this was also fairly tatty and worn. The towels provided were very thin hard and scratchy... More

Ideally placed on Tottenham Court Road close to Oxford Street and Covent Garden. The hotel itself is basic if you dont want to pay extra. Breakfast extra, wifi extra, the advertised gym and pool is extra. You dont evrn get sny biscuits on your tea tray ... these can be found in a vending machine by paying extra. Rooms are... More

When we arrived however my worries were to be unfounded,we were able to check in 2 hours early as our rooms were ready,we were greeted by a very Friendly male receptionist who was extremely pleasant and helpful.We... Good clean Hotel and good size rooms. It is in a good location, close to many, many restaurants and cafes and theatres. It is a large Hotel so can get busy at times. Breakfast was good with good variety but go very early or after 9am as it gets busy. The room had a window which opened which was good... More

I stayed here with four friends at end of last month. Excellent location for a weekend break to London, just off Oxford Street and within walking distance of some attractions. The Dominion Theatre is a stone's throw away also. We had no complaints at all, I was a bit weary after reading some of the reviews but I guess you... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
