My husband and I visited St.Giles for our first anniversary. We found it very plesant, room just right considering we were only sleeping in it and it was a very central location so that was useful. Staff were plesant and new towels were put in the room every day

This hotel is perfect for a city break. We couldn't understand the poor reviews as the room was lovely, comfortable bed, extra pillows, very clean. The bathroom was fine and ours had a bath and shower. The breakfast is really good and they even had gluten free bread, you just have to ask when you are at the hot buffet... More

Located literally 2 minutes away from Tottenham Court Road underground station, St Giles is 5-10 minutes away from British Museum, Piccadilly Circus, Covent Garden etc on foot. Plenty of many good eateries in the neighbourhood. Room is compact and functional. As it is right on Tottenham Court Road, traffic can at times be noisy. Thanks to the double glass, I... More

This Hotel may be ideal for London but rooms are so small and overall the Hotel is very unclean. This Hotel needs some TLC. The breakfast facilities are terrible, you have to queue with a tray which makes you think of Prison. Very over priced for what you get.

Stayed for one night. Hotel is in good location as central London base especially for Oxford Street. This was a business trip and hotel served its purpose but I would not want to spend a holiday here. My Double room was small and the shower room very small. Unfortunately my room was close to the lift, so quite noisy. The... More

Executive room booked with booking.com. Very small room, no dressing table. Worktop which held the kettle doubled up as writing desk, hairdryer located underneath worktop & the safe took up half of this worktop, with better planning this could have been placed on shelf above. Fridge on floor in corner not easily accessible. No drawer unit for folded clothes. Reception... More

Just returned from 5 night stay at the St Giles.Hotel seems well managed and busy, booked a double room, nice new looking bathroom but small cramped double room , barely a foot of wardrobe space with about 8 coat hangers , and a few small shelves ,no bigger than what you would get in a travelogde ,ok if you are staying... It's a good hotel right in the middle of London, next to the west end. The staff were lovely the rooms are basic and clean. There is a lovely breakfast here worth getting out of the bed for! The concierge couldn't be more helpful and the cleaning staff were friendly. I was very impressed and would def return

We did a theatre break and stayed here was an ideal location and within walking distant of the tube, the theatre, China Town, Leicester Square and many more restaurants & bars. Superb price for what you get.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
