Omg I didn't realise you could book a hotel so basic. Single bed, stand in the middle of the room and you can touch every wall. Not even a door to the tiniest bathroom in the world Noisy omg awful Someone trying my door handle at 1am Doors don't lock from the inside Breakfast - don't touch it Need I... More

Despite a few problems at check-in (I had paid using Avios and the hotel hadn't received notification - I sorted it out myself by phone) the hotel is a very busy tourist spot in a great central location just a couple of hundred yards from Tottenham Court Road Underground Station. The rooms were just what one might expect for the... More

Flat out the grubbiest, ugliest hotel I've ever stayed in. Rooms are minuscule, booking was a nightmare and the cleanliness is woeful. My view was a dirty concrete wall. Although the location is great. You sacrifice a good sleep due to noise pollution and general hygiene.

the hotel is in an excellent location for your central London stay. a short walk from Euston and close to the west end etc... rooms are small but you're not in London to stay in your room..... but they are spotless!! there is a late bar downstairs too!!

We have been here several times. The best is the location !! The one thing we are not satisfied with is the connection to internet. You have to pay £10 for 24h. We have been charged twice. This happend last year and this year. And it is not possible to get refund. You pay the internet from a firm called... More

Check in was efficient but most of the Eastern Europeans manning the front desk seemed quite disinterested and nobody seemed happy at their work. The room was so very small even for London standard with absolutely no where to put luggage, which made the room even more uncomfortable. Breakfast was quite adequate with enough choice. This hotel seems to cater for... More

Not the best looking building in London...could use some upgrading in- and outside. One of our mattresses was long, long overdue for the dump. BUT the place is so close to everything interesting...just a few meters from Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Road Underground..walk in 2 minutes to British Museum...walk to Hyde Park in 15 min. etc.. Service is fine,... More

the room I had was on the ground floor. chewing gum on the sheet, a worn mattress and disgusting carpet that one can not step on without shoes. beds were small (if your length is over 170 cm) and almost physically impossible to have bags in to the room.

This was our second visit to St Giles because as stated by previous reviewers, the location is ideal for exploring London. We booked a deluxe room which does offer a little extra space. However, the rooms are rather dated and somewhat tired but ultimately you only use it to sleep in... Breakfast for us was waitress-served which avoided the queues in the... More

Really great location, few minutes walk from Tottenham Court Rd.Tube station. We stayed at Hotel for 3 nights 28th_ 31st Aug '15. Staff were all very nice & helpful on arrival and check out. Breakfast was a good choice, although you have to be up and down early to avoid long queues for cooked breakfast. Room was very clean, a... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
