This hotel was centrally located, near the theater district. The room was small for two people. I was traveling with my 16 year old daughter. We needed to step over our luggage to get through the room. The bathroom was more updated but also small. The breakfast buffet was amazing. There were so many choices of hot items and cold.... More

Was a bit tired in places , room could do with a good clean , towels was grey looking and strains on sheets etc, staff very friendly and help full but £ 10 a day for wifi a bit over top, the breakfast was good , but fresh mushroom and more fruit on offer would of been good, and once... More

Twin room just off Tottenham Court Road. Bit noisy even for London due to building work. Room was smallish but fine, breakfast buffet was very average, poor quality sausages, no fried eggs. Information could have been clearer as to when the hotel restaurants were open and what the nominal fee was for the leisure facilities. 25% off all food vouchers... More

We stayed for almost one week by the beginning of July. It is very well located, next to the tube and also next to Oxford Street. If you like walking, this is the perfect hotel for you to walk and discover the city. The rooms are a little less that average but they have a safe box, coffee, and a... More

This hotel was terrible - very, very old and tired decor - my room was a twin deluxe - they need to look up the meaning of the word 'deluxe' - nothing about this hotel is deluxe. The room was small and felt old and dirty - horrible stained carpets, lumpy pillow and mattress. Old air conditioner that rattled. Long... More

We stayed at the St Giles Hotel, London for a theatre break 27th to 28th July 2015. We had a great time. The hotel was very central for the Opera House, various theatres, British museum, the Wallace museum and other attractions. We could easily walk to most of the above attractions. The staff were very friendly and welcoming; check in... More

Hotel at the end of Oxford street and in walking distance to everything. Underground and bus station 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Nice staff, clean, compact and functional rooms. I see that others complain about the elevators. Well, if you can't wait for two minutes for an elevator, then you should probably find somewhere else to stay. You have... More

Stayed three nights and couldn't find a fault. Location was excellent which in London is everything. Concierge staff could not have been more friendly or helpful an asset to the hotel. Room was cleaned every day to a high standard. Hotel bar was a tad pricey but you expect to pay more in hotel bars than pubs. We travel to... More

room small, but perfectly small. Very hot, fortunately, it was raining, which kept it cool. Not really enough milk. Plenty of coffee and tea, but not enough milk to match. Breakfast, plenty of choice, dinner was satisfactory. Don't like having to pay for wifi, shouldn't be necessary. Only one pillow

Nice hotel for a pit stop in central London. Good quality and filling buffet breakfast. Room was a bit on the small side, but we didn't stay in it long. The pool was a,azing and a really great way to unwind from shopping and sightseeing.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
