Stayed for 3 nights on 2 floor and was noisy in middle of night. Dustbins etc being emptied. Good stay overall and quite cheap. Rooms v small and could not have stayed longer. I was a lone traveller wouldn't have been room for 2 nd person

I stayed for one night in a single room. The only good things were the location and the staff who were very kind and willing to help. Overall, a very disappointing experience. The room was tiny (like a cupboard!) and not very clean. The furniture looked ancient and dirty. I've stayed in 1 star hotels that were more pleasant than... More

I was attending a conference at a nearby hotel, and chose this out of location. The hotel is close to Tottenham Court Road (TCR) tube and bus stop. I got a room in the West Tower facing TCR. The room was terrible! It looked badly compared with any standard, and was without any curtains. The wall to wall carpet smelled... More

I stayed at this hotel as part of a coach trip holiday so the price for the hotel was really cheap. The location of the hotel is perfect! It is literally round the corner from the famous Oxford Street and you can see the BT tower from some bedrooms. There is Tottenham Court Road tube station, less than a minute... More

I spent one night in this hotel - another would have been unbearable. The room being no more than a large broom cupboard was tolerable - it was only for sleeping in and single rooms are often like that. It was the shabbiness and unclean bedding that made it so bad. When I arrived I noticed that the window was... More

We spent 3 nights in this "hotel". I would say hotel is the wrong word, and it should be renamed as a hostel... Firstly, our bed sheets were stained and so old you could actually almost see through it, it was so threadbare. We had to call the night manager at 12 midnight (as we had just come back to... More

Booked two nights for a weekend in London. We allocated a twin room as requested but when we opened the door we could not believe how small it was. There was no furniture other than a dressing table chair no where to put anything at all and the smallest TV I have seen in any hotel, which incidentally you had... More

I couldn't believe my company paid £100 a night for this - I KNOW I can stay in London for less than this! The hotel exterior and reception was lovely, but my room was dated, rough around the edges and dirty. The room was tiny: although a double, you couldn't have fitted two people in there comfortably! And there was... More

It didn't bode well at my recent visit whilst checking in It took 10mins before I was eventually seen to the receptionist was more interested in the conversation next to her with a customer complaining then at payment stage had to go as her shift was done and another girl took over. I was then nearly charged more for my... More

I stayed her last year in a single room which must have been the smallest in London ,how they got a single bed toilet and shower was amazing .thought I would book a double ,clever as the same price. You guessed it I got the smallest double room in London.the bed touched three walls.however it does not claim to be... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
