This is a nice enough hotel in a fantastic location. Rooms aren't huge but it's about a minutes walk from Oxford St. It's been clean and warm every time I have stayed here. Ideal for a few days in London and very very central -

The location is great, between the British Museum and Tottenham Court Road tube, and it's clean. Rooms are tiny, but you are not in London to spend time in your room. I got a good price via a hotel booking website, and when I arrived they upgraded me and included a free breakfast, which I had not paid for. Two... More

I stayed here last week when I was in London for a conference. Located right next to Oxford Street it's a great location for shopping and sightseeing, with great transport links. However the hotel itself leaves a lot to be desired, my room was very small with basic facilities and surrounded by construction sites. The breakfast was adequate but very... More

Terrible! We arrived an hour after designated check in to find our room had not been serviced. Room we had was tiny and dark. It cost us £218 with no breakfast. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.only plus was its location to places on interest.

Firstly this is not nor does it pretend to be a luxury hotel. I booked the hotel and started to read the reviews and began to feel nervous. The hotel is a stone throw away from Oxford Street. The rooms are very very small and we upgraded to a room with a small sitting area. However if you are in... More

St Giles Hotel was just okay. Not an exceptionally welcoming environment. Cramped rooms with horrible lighting. Right now there is a massive amount of construction across the street making it too loud to open the window and making walking around the hotel neighborhood unpleasant. Charge for wifi but the bar downstairs has free wifi and let us sit and use... More

I stayed here for 2 nights with my mum over a Friday and Saturday (in a twin). The room was small (but we were planning on being out so all we were doing was sleeping) so that was fine. There were no towels in our room so when we left for dinner we told reception. When we arrived back several... More

The hotel is very run down. My room smelled of smoke, was too hot and the mattress was like a blancmange. I had a twin room just for myself but it was really small. There are 4 lifts yet you still have to wait ages to get in one. I wouldn't be happy if I'd paid for this myself.

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
