Stayed here for 3 nights (Thu-Sat) and had a great stay. The staff were helpful but not intrusive, our room (deluxe double) was clean and tidy (other reviews mention the size of rooms, and I will agree they are not huge but are adequate for a city break). The location is fantastic and makes all major landmarks of central London very accessible.... More

I spent three nights in a twin room with my friend. She had booked the room via booking.com and we thought the price wasn't bad because all hotels in London are expensive. The pictures on their site looked good and I thought we'd made a great deal. The best part of this hotel is its location. It's close to Tottenham... More

Paid £284 for two nights B&B in deluxe room for me and my 8 yr old son as a surprise for him as he has "Autism through trauma" (he displays autistic traits by way of a coping mechanism after his dad left and I nearly died when he was 22 mths old) and despite us being told not to expect... More

Having stayed in travelodge in london we thought we would try St giles as it had been recommended by colleagues. Was a little bit cheaper as well which was a bonus. I had asked for a room near reception and and bath if possible. Didn't get either. Booked an executive double room and wasn't disappointed. On the seventh floor. Bit... More

Spent one night here in June to celebrate my birthday in London and see a show! The location is perfect, very central and next door to Tottenham Court Road tube. We had a deluxe twin on the 12th floor with great views! Breakfast was included and was good with an excellent choice . Wouldn't hesitate to use again! One grumble... More

Stayed for one night, as soon as we checked in and we went to our room we could smell the bedding (duvet cover) it was not clean and really smelt dirty and used. We went straight down and was assured it would be changed, this was 1.30pm. We didn't get back until almost midnight and the cover had not been... More

After staying here previously, we thought we would upgrade to a 'deluxe room'. How disappointing this was - whilst it was clean and the bed was comfy, there was no bedside cabinet on one side of the bed, the loo seat was wonky, we had difficulty in adjusting the shower temperature, and oh, quite importantly - our room was directly... After booking our holiday from Australia quite a few months ago, we arrived at the hotel to find out the room we had booked were so small you couldn't even fit people and suitcases in the same room. It was also over looking a construction site and the only ventilation was an open window, it was. So loud, the other... More

Having found the St Giles to be very conveniently located on my last stay in London, I decided it would be good place for two old school friends to Mark our 70th birthday year. In many ways it was even better than I remembered it to be. The V and Q restaurant I did not remember even being there the... More

The facilities were adequate but was overcharged in error. I accept this was a genuine mistake and was given a receipt/ notice of a refund immediately and expected the amount would be deposited in my bank account straight away. After all they took it out straight away! Not so! After numerous phone calls and promises saying "I will do it... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
