This review is based on a business stay in a double room for 2 nights Pros:- - Short walk from Tottenham Court Road Tube; - 10 min walk from Covent Garden so good access to shops etc. Cons (this might take a while) - Room is small and dated; - It's NOISY, its hard to get to sleep / stay... More

The great advantages of this hotel are the reasonable price and the location close to Tottenham Court Road Tube station and within five minutes' walk of the British Museum. It is also within walking distance of the shops in Oxford Street. The rooms are clean but very small and you have to pay 10 pounds a day for WiFi in... More

Great bang for my buck--for London atleast !! Safe, clean hotel and location is nice---Oxford Street is a block or so away. Anything you need is on Oxford St-- restaurants, shops, currency exchange etc. The bar/restaurant called Hudson's House inside the hotel was decent with good food and a great atmosphere and free wi fi !! Check in was easy... More

Really convenient for visitors and is well located 100m from Tottenham Court Road tube station. However the central line is not riunning through TCR for this year and this makes it more difficult to reach destinations. Walking distance of Oxford St., Picadilly, Trafalgar Sq. Rooms small and drab but clean. Not the most comfortable bed and pillows. Bed really small.... More

This hotel has a great location. We used it as a sleep over for our theatre trip to watch Cats at the Palladium, which is about a 15 minute walk away. The hotel is clean and our small double room was newly decorated. I was pleased when I found that our room was on the 8th floor, thinking it might... More

Good value given it's central London location. Beds comfortable, room clean, service efficient if a touch impersonal. The lifts are a bit of a drawback, not enough of them so always a long wait and then often full. The worst feature was certainly breakfast. £9.95 each for a less than pleasant experience first thing in the morning. There were not... More

The hotel's location is perfect. It was walking distance from the Phoenix theatre where we were seeing once. The room was clean and tidy. The price included breakfast which kept us full all day. We booked the Hudson house restaurant connected which was great. Only minor things that needed changing were more plug sockets as not enough for us both... More

Really convenient for tourists;within walking distance of loads of attractions. Rooms small and a bit drab but clean, quiet and comfortable. TV and hair dryer. Good shower. Great self service breakfast though it took a while to find a table in the dining room. Long queues for reception but helpful concierge

I chose this hotel as the location had been recommended to me. The location was fantastic, within walking distance of all I wanted to see and do. The rooms on the other hand were so small. Not the place to stay if you are claustrophobic. The staff however were very helpful and courteous and organised a room change, not an... More

Stayed at St Giles for just one night. Location is very good for Oxford Street, theatres etc and only couple of mins from Tottenham Court Rd underground. Check in was easy.Useful baggage storage on departure. Good selection at breakfast. Self-service canteen style . Dining area fairly basic but plenty of seating. Rooms (double) quite small but we were only there... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
