I stayed with business last Thursday and was welcomed in my room by what looked like lots of small little bugs, I called reception and a guy from reception came up straight away and looked at the desk and moved me to an executive suite. Although the location is good and the staff was lovely (both the guy who swapped... More

Let's start with the positives first. Great location for a stay in London. Rooms clean with free tea and coffee. Bathroom facilities clean and Reception staff welcoming. Negatives we found was checking in was a nightmare and seemed to be whatever time of day. Resulting in lots of people waiting for the lifts. We had no option but to take... More

Very good location. Close to Oxford Street and Soho. Hotel amenities all very good for the value. Hotel staff aren't very efficient and took around 30 minutes to check-in whilst around 10 guests were checked in and off to their room while we stood and watched. Was woken up at 3am with loud and raucous guests, concierge was called and... More

It stayed in the St GIles back in 1996 and it was good to see nothing had changed!! The hotel is tired and needs a little work but if your after something very central with the West End within walking distance this is a good choice for someone on a budget that simply needs a room for the night. The... More

We stayed in this hotel from 30 August to 2 September ‘2015 in room 485 The check in process was relatively quick, the receptionist friendly and polite. We got complimentary wifi Location It’s very central in the centre of London, just a few steps from Oxford street and close to everything (restaurant, shops, etc). Location wise it’s very convenient. The... More

I stayed in this hotel a week. I booked a deluxe double room a few months before on a specialized website for booking (not deserved to give his name). When we arrived at the hotel we found we had no reservation made and no rooms were available at that time. I was in incredible situation of being homeless, although we... More

Small room with lots of noise from both the road outside and the corridor. Room was very warm but opening the window was not an option due to road noise and the fan was also noisy. Bathroom ok & everything was clean. Apart from the coffee, breakfast was of a very poor quality.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
