Arrived at hotel desk where we told staff we wished to stay 5 days and not 6 days as booked by our travel agent. We were then informed that we could not reduce out stay as the booking had been made by an agent.. We were then told that we would have to get in contact with the agent [who... More

Very basic. Tired 60's design. Perfect tourist location and ideal for visitors to London who just want a bed for the night but don't expect anything special. Not ideal for business trips. Rooms small, plain and in need of redecoration. Poor ventilation and no view. Room lighting very poor. Restaurant like school canteen. Waiting for lifts became a bind. Stairs... More

Awful. Slow check in, slow lifts, tiny rooms. Avoid.

We stayed here last week for 1 night. We had no problems, room was a bit on the small side but that didnt matter it was just somewhere to get ready and then to sleep in. Excellant location and would go back for that reason!

Its all about the location for the St. Giles. The hotel has small rooms, standard for £150 per night has no airconditioning, and after staying 4 nights here 21st - 25th May during the hot weather the room was very hot at night, opening the window added only to the road noise. Good breakfast hours of 06:30 till 10:30, hotel... More

Situated centrally for Theatres and Oxford Street. Excellent position which is where this hotel really scores high Not so highly rated is the hotel itself We found the hotel very busy at times and the rooms very small. Perhaps the rooms would have been tolerable if only the air conditioning was adequate. It was totally inadequate and made our stay... More

Recently stayed here for 2 nights, It is an excellent hotel in a great location. All the staff were very friendly - reception, concierge desk, restaurant etc. The rooms aren't massive but were very clean and well equipped - air con plus a fan, tea and coffee making facilities, toiletries, lovely fluffy towels etc. The breakfast was excellent - can't... The location of this hotel was the reason it was booked, i travelled to London with three friends, and we booked two double rooms, which were small, but as we were only using the room as a base for some major shopping and sightseeing, it was perfect! The staff weren't the friendliest, checking in seemed to be an inconvenience really,... More

As a business hotel, this is second to none. It is inexpensive, conveniently located in the heart of London, comfortable and well equipped. The rooms are small, and this hotel does not have the charm of some more expensive hotels. Nor, however, is it remotely as bad as a number of lower quality hotels in the area. I used this... More
