We stayed at the strand palace because we wanted to do some sight seeing and shopping it was perfectly located for this the hotel was overall good but with no parking facilities and on a main road the rooms were excellent and comfortable but on the Saturday night we were kept awake by some revellers (polite name) who decided it... Booked into this hotel for two nights in December 2014 and were very impressed. It's clean, welcoming, the room and bathroom were a good size and there were even free magazines and newspapers downstairs! Would definitely consider staying again - the location is particularly good - so all in all, thoroughly recommended.

Returning the The Strand Palace some years after our first visits was wonderful. The hotel has had some work and was just the right place for us to be. Perfectly placed, easy for theatre, tube and taxi. A spit to the South Bank. The team were very helpful, the place was so clean and comfortable and suited us completely. Would... More

This is a lovely hotel and represents superb value for money, especially when booking with the hotel direct. They offer deals over and above broker sites, so it's well worth checking. For booking direct, we got a free tube pass and dinner, for example. The location is brilliant: the hotel is just 5 mins walk from Covent Garden and it... More

Great location and great hotel. Clean and well priced. The hotel bar is very smart and offers great choices. The rooms are basic but have all you need for a pleasant stay. The reception was festively decorated and the doorman always very attentive. Overall a great weekend

A big hotel with the traditional doorman. We upgraded to a higher standard and it was a spacy dubble room with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. There is a concierge at the hotel and helpfull staff. The breakfast is varied and a good value, including protein for the sandwich, omelettes and fresh fruit. It is close to chinatown,... More

At £18.95 this afternoon tea is quite a lot cheaper than many other west end hotels. But accordingly it is rather ordinary. The tea is served in the 'Lounge' which is essentially a bar area and even had a large screen showing sport. The lounge was quite full including one or two large family groups. Our tea was brought promptly... More

I stayed at the Strand Palace, London UK for the first time, for 8 nights, December 7-15 2014. I always book directly with hotels when I travel but this time I used Rocket Miles, also my first time, and booked into an executive single room. Reservation was received with no issues at the hotel and I got the room I'd... More

Our third stay in the Strand Palace... the location is excellent, central Strand, short walk to Covent Garden, Somerset House, Embankment, Trafalgar Square etc etc. The hotel is a good standard, breakfast is excellent. Minor issues,: there are only 3 lifts in the lobby, one was out of action for three days !! whilst we were there, so waiting time... More
