Our foursome were very pleased with this choice of hotels, as it was close to the Bus tour stop and to the wonderful Covent Garden area. We chose to pre-pay for the breakfast and it was really the best thing we could have done to fuel our day before venturing out for so many hours.

We stay in The Strand Palace every time we come to London. A big hotel on the Strand near to the Aldwych end and near Waterloo Bridge. The hotel is modern with nice rooms and reasonable priced restaurants, The Mask Bar is famous for its cocktails. Tip try to get an outward facing room, some rooms face an inner courtyard... More

dont begin to think they know the meaning of customer service. Reception smug and disinterested. DO NOT STAY......EVER. If I didnt need to stay somewhere I would have walked out which hacks me off even more. Insist on taking a credit card for no reason. The room is already paid for.

Stayed for 2 nights in a twin room, got a good price through Booking.com. Check in was quick and efficient. The room as other guests have commented on was on the small side, tiny single wardrobe, no drawers, so travel light! The bathroom was a bit tired, but the shower (over the bath) was very powerful and consistent. The single... More

Excellent location on the strand, friendly efficient staff, room very small with grotty view but it did have full sky package. A small bottle of beer at £5.25 was a little overpriced for a hotel of this nature. Lounge bar good for business meetings and hotel ideally placed for pleasure travellers.

Booked here as it was a treat for my wife's 30th and it was within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. Staff were friendly and helpful nothing was to much trouble for them. Had been here before but only for afternoon tea (which was nice also). Room was on the 9th floor and it was a desent side... More

The hotel is in a great location, very central. I stayed for 2 nights in an executive single room on the 7th floor. I asked for a quiet room and this certainly ticked the right box, as I had an excellent undisturbed sleep on both nights. The room was a good sized single, with a 4 ft bed, a wardrobe,... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your positive feedback. We are glad that your request for a quiet room worked out and that our room equipment was satisfactory. The staff here work very hard to make the quests feel welcome and as if they’re in their own home. The chefs at the Carvery work as hard as possible to improve the... More

After one year I am back to the same hotel but this time staying for 3 nights instead of 1 last time...... I do confirm that I love the hotel and staff and it's wonderful location but I extremely hate the single room matchbox size which they have..... The room size is the only problem I face in the hotel... More

I've been going back to this hotel for now at least 10 years, always on business trips and always wondering if this hotel with such small rooms is really the best choice but the fact is that the location is unbeatable and the rooms, even if small, provide all the basics. The breakfast is great and recent renovations makes the... More
