We stayed at the St Martins Lane for 2 nights in early June while in London for the Twenty20 World Cup. I decided that we deserved a treat and something a bit nice and ended up getting the hotel through Priceline for $160 per night which was half the price that the hotel was offering. Location is brilliant and the... More

I had a good time here, but maybe it's because I got stuck in London an extra day in the great snowstorm of '09? St. Martins Lane was great for a quick London weekend getaway. Very central location, which is nice...not nice is the outdated Schrager boutique hotel thing that's getting a bit old...but still a sexy place to stay... More

The great snowstorm was certainly a challenge, the positive side was that you could spend an extra day with us! Thanks for the great comments and recommendations. Apologies for the mattress, we are in a refurbishment programme to replace throughout the hotel. We have checked the iPod docking stations, guests are not able to make or receive calls when playing... More

I've stayed in this hotel a couple of times and I must agree with an earlier comment that this is London's best kept secret. I have friends who live in Central London and they have never seen or heard of it - the lack of any name or identification on the front obviously contributes to this. However, when they came... More

The St Martins Lane Hotel has to be one of the best kept secrets, as a born Londoner I think that I know London well but arriving by car it took 2 trips round the block to find St Martins and only then by the very discret number 45 etched in the glass at low level, there is no external... More

The original design ethos was to create an air of mystery about what was behind our signature revolving doors and we are delighted that you discovered us. We’re also pleased that you appreciated the design element of the hotel, we’ve not historically included tea/coffee making facilities however we continue to consider an appropriate solution to fit in with our style.... Just got back from a long weekend in London. We wanted to stay someplace near the sites since we only had 2 1/2 days to sightsee. This hotel is in an excellent location. Just off Trafalgar Square and close to Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus and Convent Garden. We were able to walk to other sites including Westminster Abbey and Buckingham... More

SML is a funky design hotel in the heart of Covent Garden. It's location is excellent with 2 tube stations nearby and most things within walking distance. The overall design is very modern and of note are the lobby and the lifts as well as the lighting feature in the bedrooms. We stayed in a Deluxe King Room which was... More

Would we love to have you back? Definitely!! It’s great to hear that you enjoyed so many aspects of the hotel. Appreciate your disappointment that the bar closed early on the bank holiday, this is currently under review for future UK holidays. Please let us know when you are next staying with us! More

This hotel impresses from the moment you arrive outside. Greeted by the doorman who opened the door of the taxi and brought in our bags and was more than helpful directing us to the front desk. I stayed at St Martins for three nights the third week in March this year. I knew it would be expensive, it was. I knew I would cringe when I saw the bill, I did. But what a wonderful place, yes I do say it is worth the money. The location is a five min walk to the National Gallery... More

We stayed at the St. Martin's Lane hotel on a Saturday night at the end of March... we wanted to stay somewhere funky and somewhere cool and St. Martin's Lane did deliver. The bar downstairs, the hotel music, the concierge on duty (Victor) and the general ambiance of the hotel was very very cool. One thing that we must note... More
