We stayed at the Landmark for 3 days for my wife's birthday. From the moment we set foot in the place the service and professionalism of the staff was apparent. We were pleasantly surprised to have been upgraded to a Marlyebone Studio which was enormous with views on to the winter garden. We ate at the 222 restaurant which was... More

When choosing a more upmarket hotel, one always hopes for the things that others have foregone in the name of economy. You get that at this hotel. From attentiveness as you enter, book in and with all aspects of service. It's in little things like the newspaper (complimentary), neatly hung on the door handle, room service meals served on a... Excellent experience. Had the pleasure of staying here for one night in a executive room and it was as good as any room I've stayed in anywhere in the world. Huge proportions with comfy sofa and chairs and lots of occasional furniture providing an opulent feel. Everything in the room oused quality including a very comfortable bed and luxury bathroom.... My partner booked a night here as a suprise for my 30th birthday and oh my gosh was I surprised. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left I had a smile on my face. I took my boyfriend here for his 21st firstly because of the proximity to Marylebone train station, not realising what an absolute gem the hotel was! The room, staff and location where all perfect, definitely would stay again.

Stayed here the weekend before last in celebration of my birthday with my daughter. From entering the hotel to leaving we were treated like royalty, like no other hotel I have ever stayed in. We had a gorgeous family room, the size was fantastic, as was the superb bathroom, we had champagne, flowers, chocolate easter bunnies, choc covered strawberries. Stunning!... More

I took my fiance here for his birthday, we stayed in a Marleybone Suite which was stunning! We had afternoon tea on the one day and it was fantastic! The Landmark Signature Tea was lovely and blended well, sandwiches were delicious and elegant and the petit fours were faultless. Staff were lovely and service fantastic.

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights, upon check in the staff was very nice but wanted to charge us 60 pounds more per night for an upgrade. It seemed a bit tacky based on the caliber of the hotel and we were already paying quite a bit, it would have been nice for them to just upgrade us.... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
