This hotel is in a great location, within 15-20 minutes walk of Kings Cross, 10 minutes from theatre land and 5 minutes from Holborn tube, it also has many convenience stores locally. Our twin room was large, by far the largest we have ever stayed in London, with a large bathroom and a seating area in the bay window. The... More

I have just had a one night stay with my family in an executive room. The location of this hotel is great you can walk a few minutes to Holburn tube station and there are handy shops nearby such as a pharmacy, tescos, etc. the staff were excellent at checking in we checked in early with our bags which was... Having previously stayed at Hilton Docklands Riverside (which has bags of room and is very modern) we worried that this central London hotel would be a bit pokey, overpriced, uncaring, faceless etc., but we got a good price for a family room incl breakfasts, and the location meant we could do more things on foot this time. We had a... More

There was a group of us who stayed here, all in all we have 5 rooms. On check in the reception staff only had us booked in for 4, after a while they found us another room and stored our luggage. My room was nice and clean but small. Some of the other rooms were alot bigger, and we all... More

Not bad, staff extremely pleasant. Shame though, we booked a room for 3 adults, so embarrassing when the receptionist only gave 2 warm cookies on arrival and there were only 2 sets of robes and slippers in the room. Other than that nice location, nice staff. The room was not like the picture on the website.

If you pay full rates - £200+ for this hotel, you will be disappointed. If you pay £130 or less, you will be happier. Great location, friendly staff, character to the building, clean rooms and decent beds. The rooms (Double, Twin, Double Deluxe) are not big at all. Stayed here twice within a couple of weeks - first room faced... More

Very poor quality. Dirty and tired looking. Room key didn't work, towels had brown stains, dust and dirt on walls plus in bathroom. Awful view of extractor fans and was told at least quieter than room facing the street! Very expensive for what it is. Only nice touch was the cookie upon arrival but not worth £230! Would never stay... More

The location is excellent but the prior lodging (The Bonnington) was more charming. Hilton took it over and is trying a bit too hard to be edgy. Beware of lots of slamming hallway doors in the night that definitely disturbs sleep. At about $300/day the room wasn't much larger than an average size walk-in closet. The sink was so small... I arrived into London at St Pancras station and the hotel is a 20 minute walk from there through the Bloomsbury area. I stayed one night. A nice hotel convenient to the British museum and one tube stop away from Covent Garden and theaterland. Executive room was small but well-appointed, and very quiet. Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
