Stayed here Friday & Saturday got a much better price by calling direct and not booking with other online companies. Hotel itself is situated 10 minute walk from Dominion theatre which is why we were visiting London. The room was very clean and tidy. The bar staff are excellent they are very attentive your glass is never empty and they... More

the hotel was nice. room was small but nice and clean, but the mattress was very saggy, we learned our lesson, lie on the bed before you settle into a room. really bad nights sleep. great turkish restaurant across the road. hotel in good location, not far from tube station

If you want to be right in the thick of things and have a great service team, this is your place. Plus enjoy an amazing English breakfast! A very short walk to the British Museum, Holborn tube stop, and the river.

The hotel was fine in many ways, clean and well located, albeit with a typically small London room and overpriced restaurant and bar. What has really caused me to give it such a low rating is the internet access, which the hotel advertises as free throughout the property. Whilst this is technically true, it is so slow as to be... Very well located hotel. Easy walking distance to Holborn or Russell Square tube but also easy to walk to or from Covent Garden. We stayed here previously many years ago when the hotel was owned by another chain and returned because we were so happy with the location. Room very clean and quiet. Staff helpful.

I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel, staying one night for £119 on a B&B basis. On arrival, I went straight to the front desk around 3pm, there were no queues. I was given a complimentary upgrade from a double to a family room which gave me the addition of a sofa, a bath rather than just a... More

I stayed at DoubleTree for the night on a trip down to London. We were welcomed by friendly staff, offered those delicious warm cookies. It was a little bit of a maze trying to find our room, but we figured it out. The room was really nice, with a very comfy bed. We did notice the bathroom smelt a little... More

I had previously given this place a very bad review due to some issues I had, but have since removed that review and am replacing it with this one. The issues I had with the hotel were definitely addressed by hotel management. There were issues with the room being too small, and internet access issues I thought needed addressed. Although... We moved on to this hotel on our 4 night London break, as we were going to the theatre in the West End. The hotel is conveniently located, not only for the West End, but for many tourist attractions including the British Museum. As Hilton Hhonors members we were hoping for an upgrade, but the two bedroom apartment which we... More

Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions.
