The entrance lobby to this hotel is always lovely and the staff always incredibly professional. I can't fault them - and this time I was offered my welcome chocolate chip cookie **happy face** (I'm sure the cookies contain nuts so beware allergy sufferers!). Doubletree - Room 446 This is a single room with a single bed right outside the elevator... More

My friend and i had a champagne afternoon tea here on tues the 20th jan , we both agreed it was one of the best . The sandwiches were lovely and fresh and when we told our waiter Pio that i was vegetarian he provided more veggie sandwiches . The cakes were lovely as were the scones. We really felt... More

We booked 5 double rooms at the Double Tree by Hilton in the West End, London. and to be blunt and completely honest they squeezed a double bed and bathroom into a single box room. there was no room for the proverbial cat. to the point that the wardrobe door would bang into the door closer of the main entrance... I stayed here wirh a friend for a long weekend. The hotel is just off the High holborn crosing, a short walk uo on southmapton row. Very easy to get into the west end without the noise. There are a great diversity of restaurants around that make walking back to Covent Garden area not necessary.Id go back

The staff at this hotel really looked after my family when we stayed there earlier this month. We booked a family room but ended up getting upgraded to a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, kitchen living room apartment spread over 2 floors with a huge balcony. The hotel staff were very friendly and approachable. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was... More

The contents were not as stated on website with substitutes for the cakes. We were only offered 4 teas- breakfast mint East grey camomile. We chose the breakfast tea which was very weak and insipid. The scones had been reheated in a microwave and were very hard. Very disappointed- I'm glad it was a present as I would have complained... More

we booked this hotel because of the situation, very close to covent garden and st pancras, we always stay in this location. As we take part to the Hilton honors program, we were given a room on the 3rd floor...can't know why this one and not higher, because we ended right on the street, over the entrance. Very sensible to... More

Great stay with my wife on the 17th January. Fantastic location on the door to theatre land and Covent Garden. Friendly staff and an ideal choice for a City break in London. In between 2 underground stations Russell Square & Holburn but if you like walking most main attractions are a short walk away.

My boyfriend and I were very pleased with our stay at the Doubletree West End. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located very close to the Holborn station which puts you on the Picadilly and Central tube lines. We found this was the perfect location to see many of the attractions around London.

The Doubletree West End is a handy place to stay if you're heading to a show in one of the many nearby theatres. Close enough to the action so that you don't have to walk too far but not noisy or overrun with late night revellers like some Soho options. But it's nowhere special. The rooms are fine and a... Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
