at the check in, i got a warm welcome, with a warm chocolate chip cookie (nice attention) but soon realised the hotel does not live up to its promises and the staff lacks experience and has no clue what keeping a hotel is like. It is a little more than a warm welcome and a cookie (although that is definitely... More

I recently stayed here for a weekend. First of all the location is fantastic. It is easily walkable to Oxford street, Soho and the theatre district. The area that I feel lets this hotel down is the service. We got a very lukewarm welcome arriving at reception the staff member clearly was not bothered making the effort barely speaking to... More

Stayed here with my mother for a mid week theatre break and birthday celebration. Good location for Covent Garden, Leicester Square and Oxford Street. Room was adequate but we did not enjoy the tepid water from the shower (room 316). Reported during stay and on departure. Breakfast was very good, staff were friendly and attentive and even went the extra... More

Just back from a 3 night stay at this lovely, well run hotel. I found a very good '3 night stay' offer on the hotel's website which included an upgrade to a double deluxe room. The room was on the first floor at the front and despite the proximity to the road, the noise did not trouble us as there... More

Warning - this hotel is 2 hotels in one. The lobby is great, the restaurant and dining are nice and so is the executive set of rooms in the back of the hotel. The main rooms are SUPER dated and not very nice. I stayed with a friend who was in London for a work conference at this hotel. She... More

Stayed here for Saturday night ...very clean throughout the hotel, comfortable bed, and although at the front very quite. Excellent location for the theatres, Covent Garden, British Museum and Oxford Street and two minutes from Holburn tube. We didn't eat here but saw that the restaurant was busy, there are numerous eateries in the vicinity.

Spent the Chinese New Year in London, and booked one night at this hotel. On arrival we are booked and given lovely warm cookies (very nice). Our room was on the 3rd floor, no view, but the room itself was brilliant. The decor is to a very high standard, with a large samsung TV. The bed gave me one of... More

Just stayed one night as a treat after the theatre instead of making our way home. We commute to London every day and so not a tourist. This may be why I objected to paying £10.07 for a large glass of wine. It's a shame as if it had been more reasonable we would have probably had a drink (or... More

This is the absolute worst Hilton brand hotel I've stayed at. Reserved a one bed apartment. I was traveling with my kids (11yrs and 20mths). A couple of weeks before my arrival, I had called to confirm the amenities in the room, as I wanted a room with cooking facilities. I was assured that the room had a hob, microwave... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
