Clean, nice location. Love the little treats in the lobby everyday. Stayed for nine days Only complaints are that our closet door was broke. Staff kindly brought us a microwave and refrigerator without extra charge. Really cool pub, Crosse Keys, next door. Considering this to be home base for future London trips.

I selected this hotel to attend a wedding in the City and the hotel location was just perfect for us. However, initially I was a little hesitant about booking it because of a few negative comments from others.Whilst I agree that the decor of the foyer leaves much to be desired and the carpeting in the corridors looks drab I feel... Have just returned from a 3 night leisure stay here. I booked this hotel through hotwire and paid just £280 for 3 nights - fantastic! The hotel itself is in a fantastic location for the tube, buses even walking distance to so many things. Wasn't sure what to expect from the hotel due to some mixed reviews however I was... More

I picked this hotel because it was within a short walking distance of the businesses that I needed to visit and fit within the budget I was given. From the outside you could easily walk straight past this hotel as it is quite discrete. It is within a short distance of Bank or Monument station and a few blocks away... More

Stayed for three nights recently. It's a bit of an odd place if you are used to more convention hotels. I have stayed in club quarters before, in Manhattan and Chicago, so have an idea of what the standard could be. This was beolow that bar in quality and price/value. Location. Couldn't be better, not much in local restaurants, but... More

Business trip, the hotel was recommended because of the proximity to the customer. Right in the middle of the financial district, it's actually the perfect location. Close to dozens of pubs, coffee shops, restaurants, just a few blocks from a couple tube stops, and even some shopping close by. So the location was perfect. As for the hotel it was... More

Stayed for one night whilst at a friends birthday party in a local bar. The hotel is well located, and a typical London business hotel - clean, tidy and well appointed rooms. Unfortunately, we were in room 817, and it was really noisy with some sort of generator pulsing away in the back ground. Other than that, it was a... More

We stayed at clubquarters gracechurch for two nights and have chosen it because of its very good location and favorite hotels being fully booked, but also the price is good. To be honest, we expected a not so pleasant stay due to the lower price compared to other hotels but this turned out to be completely wrong: The room was... More

I stayed here for 2 nights and was very impressed, I have no complaints. There are tea/coffee facilities in the room, if you run out of tea bags/sugar etc there are cupboards on each floor where you can stock up. It's in the City of London so will be mostly used for business travellers. This was the cheapest hotel I... More

Ideal location for the city and Liverpool Street. Automated check in is efficient. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Free wifi. Gym. Gaucho Steakhouse in basement. I like this place and stay here regularly. Beds are comfy. The prices are fair given location. .

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
