Extremely friendly staff although when we extended our stay and confirmed, someone messed up and we got checked out. Extremely poor reservations. Apart from that it's a nice cozy place. The rooms are well furnished and some come with a kitchenette.

Good value city centre hotel. The room was clean and well furnished. Nice to get free wifi and good quality complimentary coffee in the pleasant lounge area. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Didn't try the breakfast as we went next door to The Crosse Keys for a Wetherspoon special. Would certainly stay again, very handy for the tube and lots... More

This is really a posh national budget hotel all very nice but a bit , well functional. And asking for an extra 15.95 for breakfast was frankly a little cheeky given the price you pay. The location was great, minutes from the tube and walking distance from a number of places to visit. We had a third bed for our... More

We stayed in this hotel during the May bank holiday weekend and was impressed with what we got for the reasonable rate we had paid. The room was modern, clean and very comfortable - which helped a lot since I was recovering from a viral infection and spent a lot of time sleeping! The complimentary refreshments in the room and... This is a hotel in the business centre of the 'old city' of London surrounded by a great mix of the old and the sky-scraping. The area is lively during the week but at weekends is much quieter and residents will find it difficult to find pubs or restaurants open without going further into central London. There are a variety of... Clean and spacious rooms, lovely complimentary tea and coffee facilities, we enjoyed the stay! Location was good but most of the food shops nearby were closed on the weekends. Near to the tube station so it was really convenient. Would stay again!

This is an ideal base for sight-seeing. Our room was clean, comfortable and we appreciated the extra touches of informative reading matter, tissues, a kitchenette and free, chilled, bottled water. The price for three in a room in London was great value. The accommodation exceeded our expectations. Clubquarters is immediately next door to the Crosse Keys, which does an excellent... More

We got a last minute deal for this hotel, which made it ok for the money we spent. Great location, easy to get to on the tube and clean. Our room was quiet as it was in the corner, but a little tired. Check in and out is manual on touch screen machines so don't expect expert concierge service. We... More

Hotel well suited to business travel. No fuss check-in and check-out, complimentary snacks, fruit and cereal bars, comfortable room with air conditioning, microwave and great workspace with comfortable ergonomic chair and great breakfast in Gaucho's in the basement - an ideal business traveler's hotel.

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
