We stayed here for one night, the room was clean & spacious, lovely bathroom. The staff were very friendly & loved the free coffee & tea facilities in the reception area. Would stay there again, its in a good location.

The Club Quarters Gracechurch hotel has a great location, close to the Gherkin building, two blocks away from Monument Metro Station, and within walking distance of the Tower of London and the London Bridge. Besides, the service was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and well kept. I would definitely stay here again in the future. Oh, and... More

Ticks the box for staying in London, nice and compact but no bells and whistles. Rooms are small but the bed was comfy, shower was best feature of the bathroom (I like a good strong shower). Price was appropriate to what we got but would stay again.

well located for sightseeing in the bank District and close to Monument Station, London Tower, Tower Bridge and St. Pauls. The service is not outstanding, but everything you need when you are there for business or sightseeing. The rooms and beds are big enough, the bathroom is clean and practical, and the wifi connection was ok. The lobby serves as... More

Very well equipped room, slightly mixed service, quiet and very convenient. Lots of facilities that we didn't need but could have been useful. Very clean but the bed was pretty hard. Would work well for the business traveller.

At almost £120 a night in a quiet end of town I'd certainly have expected a lot more for my money. That said the staff were extremely friendly. However the hairdryer in the bathroom didn't work, the tv kept turning itself off intermittently (sometimes at 3min intervals) and there was no fridge in the room.

This hotel is tucked away about a 5 min walk from Liverpool Street and Bank Stations. If you find the Cross Keys pub you are there. Well located if you're wanting to go into town shopping or sight-seeing. Gauchos restaurant is just underneath which is worth a visit. Cross Keys is an unusually large pub with large selection of different... More

I liked this hotel as it was very close to Bank and Monument tube station and walking distance to most of the corporate offices on Frenchchurch street. While the rooms are on the smaller side, the amenities more than make up for it. The wifi connection was great, the hotel offers complimentary sodas and snacks throughout the day plus disposable... Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
