I stayed here last night(25 August 2014)with my mum. We have stayed at quite a few travelodge hotels over the last few years but this hotel was not very good. Staff are friendly, nice & helpful but the room is quite poor, the bed was comfy & had clean bedding but the furniture was very poor & outdated, bathroom was small... More

The hotel itself was okay. Very clean room and reception. Comfy beds. 10 minute walk or a 2 minute bus ride to kings cross and the tube station. Friendly staff. Average sized rooms (for london) Now onto the issues: It was in an area which neither me or my boyfriend felt comfortable walking through at night. I'd recommend getting the... More

We didn't realise there were 3 travelodges on this road and ended up at the wrong one. First impressions smokers and drinkers mingling outside....After some fif faff they advised us we were booked into another hotel.the charge to leave bags at Scot was £10!! However once at fArringdon 5 mins down the road this fee was very different and we... More

Stayed three nights over August Bank Holiday weekend. About a 15 minute walk from KX station and opposite Holiday inn Express which has a well-reviewed Indian restaurant below (unfortunately closed during our visit). Room clean but worn. Rock hard pillows and not the most comfortable Travelodge "dream" bed I've slept in. Double bed but only one bedside table. Lighting controls... More

Yes, there is some noise from outside the hotel - but given the close proximity to King's Cross and Farringdon stations, it's to be expected, and was easy to cope with. Room v. v. clean. Staff polite.

Busy hotel. Clean but not the most modern. Brilliant location right between Kings Cross, Farringdon and Russell Square stations so very easy to get to. Check in at travelodge is always easy with the automated screens. Nice 2 day stay for leisure in London.

Stayed for five nights and obtained very good value for money. I had booked and paid months in advance and obtained a clean and comfortable room. The downside is that my room overlooked a busy road and Travelodge needs to insulate front facing rooms as they have done in the Royal Scot. I did not spend evenings in my room... More

Stayed 4 nights at this hotel. Travelodge is not generally a hotel chain of choice, but location was most important factor. However, it is a long walk from the nearest tube station ( Kings Cross) and the area is just a little dubious but did not feel unsafe as there were so many people on the street at all hours... More
