Stayed for five nights and obtained very good value for money. I had booked and paid months in advance and obtained a clean and comfortable room. The downside is that my room overlooked a busy road and Travelodge needs to insulate front facing rooms as they have done in the Royal Scot. I did not spend evenings in my room... More

Stayed 4 nights at this hotel. Travelodge is not generally a hotel chain of choice, but location was most important factor. However, it is a long walk from the nearest tube station ( Kings Cross) and the area is just a little dubious but did not feel unsafe as there were so many people on the street at all hours... More

Good location, well connected for transport. Boasts new look rooms but not much has changed apart from new beds and pillows which I didn't find that comfortable. Room was clean but uncomfortably hot .

If I was rating the staff, it would have been 5 stars, they were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Food and drink were reasonably priced and good quality. If you're looking for luxury, this is not for you. If you're just looking for somewhere to lay your head, this is fine. It is noisy because you're next... More

Very nice and helpful staff and excellent breakfast! Of course it's not a 5 star hotel but it's clean and tidy and the restaurant is also very good! Besides, it's very well located - 10 minute walk to King's Cross Station and a bus stop right next to the entrance. I'll stay there when I travel to London again!

What it was is the cheapest chain-hotel room I could find! My young son and I had tickets to a West End matinee show and I didn't want to rush home so I searched hard to find a cheap room at relatively short notice considering it is the Summer holidays. On reflection I probably should have spent a little more... More

Looking for a budget hotel stay in London, then look no further than the Ttavelodge at Farringdon, London. Located 10 minute walk from Kings Cross Station, it I ideally suited for short, cheap city breaks. Although the decor is dated and run down looking, the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff are happy and cheerful and... More

It was clean, great value, the staff were helpful and the beds were comfy....so comfy I slept like a log next to a busy main road when I am used to my quiet farm. All I wanted for the price was a clean room to stay in, it surpassed my expectation.

Room was too warm, noisy and hasn't been updated possibly in my lifetime. Check-in staff were polite and helpful, but the rest of the staff were miserable or nowhere to be seen. Worst 2 nights sleep I've ever had. The hotel is poorly signed from outside as there are 2 Travelodges within a few hundred yards of each other, but... More

We stopped here recently to visit the London eye and do a river cruise. The Travelodge was well maintained and very clean. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again. Thankyou
