Went down to london for one night to see a theatre show. At first glance doesnt look great but for the price you paid (for me i think it was around £40-50 for one night) you cant moan. Its clean, tidy and has all the basic stuff like TV, Kettle etc. Bathroom was clean, and we could still get in... More

We stayed her for one night and it was fine. As other reviews are saying it could do with an update as it was a little shabby but for the price (we payed £25) I couldn't complain. It was clean and comfortable and surprisingly quite, we were on the 3rd floor and at the back but I'd taken ear plugs... More

This large hotel has been bought by Travelodge, completely rebranded and run as a Travelodge. But there has been very little investment in the fabric of the building which is now showing signs of the age of the building (late 1970's I'd guess). The location is a bit out of the way - it's not particulalry close to tube stations,... More

We stayed here for one night following the special prices that travelodge were offering. We paid £25 for the night. The room was on the fourth floor and was clean, spacious and had the amenities needed. The room had tea, coffee making facilities, clothes hanging space, clean bathroom, soap, very hot water. The room was lovely and warm which was... More

I stay here twice a year for the past few years and whilst it remains one of the cheapest places to stay (especially if you get one of the offers) it is now in dire need of work. Improvements this time were both lifts worked - apart from that the issues were:- - Window seal had gone, so noise from... More

Have to agree with many of the previous reviewers on this travelodge... we definitely won't be returning! This hotel does not meet up to the usual 'basic, but still clean and pleasant' trademark of other travelodges. Location isn't too bad, but be cautious - it's about a 10-15 minute brisk walk from Kings Cross St Pancras (20-25 minute brisk walk... More

Oh dear! A tired, dreary, dirty and appalling hotel. I chose it because it was a) A Travelodge and b) Because it was good value in London. Having stayed in Travelodges before, you generally get a budget, but clean room and know what to expect. This hotel has clearly been bought by the Travelodge empire and not had the same... More

Second of three different Travelodge hotels I have stayed in since early December. Hotel is in terribly need of a total facelift. 1970's furniture, threadbare carpets. Bathroom very tiny, and took me 10 minutes to figure out the old school shower knobs, but eventually it did produce hot water. I really could not have expected more for the rock bottom... More

We stayed here last Saturday and while I agree with the other reviews saying the Farrindon is tired and in need of a refurb, I can't really fault the hotel for very good value for money. We paid £46 for the night. The room was clean, the bed comfy and we weren't intending spending much time in there. The location... More

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Our room was old with horrible artex plaster on the walls. I did not like the area and did not feel safe in the hotel. We had to go along a series of corridors and back staircases to get to the room, a very indirect route. The restaurant was not... More
