Nice, boutique hotel. Our room was on the 3rd floor in what obviously used to be the dinning room of this particular flat. It was large with a double bed and a smaller full sized bed. It has a separate water closet and the bathroom is reminiscent of my childhood bathroom (this can be classified as good for some but... More

Stayed here on business trip. Clean, comfortable rooms. Room 5 spacious with loads of storage space. Free wifi. Very acceptable continental breakfast. Great central location - a couple of minutes walk from Great Portland St station. Lots of comments on here about the Astor requiring refurb. Well if it was modernised then it would cost double. You get what you... More

We had a one night stay at the Astor Court Hotel and found it very good. The staff were great and very helpful, the room was excellent and the breakfast fine. In a fantastic location it is very close to the BBC at Langham Place and ideal for central London tourism. We, unexpectedly, got an apartment with two bathrooms and... More

The hotel was booked by work for the ease of getting to Oxford Street for meetings. That's about as good as it gets! I don't normally complain, however the WIFI is working ok as I am writing this early due to the uncomfortable bed and the noise from the train and heating pipes. Shame there is no heating n the... Clean victorian hotel. Nice and warm. TV in bedroom. Tea and coffee facilities although my milk was lumpy. Slightly dated rooms. Good location. Breakfast very basic, no fresh fruit, eggs or coffee which is a bit of a problem when you are gluten free. Friendly staff. Easy to check in and out. Idea if you needed to stay one night... More

Travelling with my family, I reserved an apartament with two romos, but when I arrived to the hotel, they told me it was having a renovation, so instead of an apartament, they will give us two adjacent romos (situation they forgot to tell when we made the reservation). The rooms were in the ok limit, and it has a correct... More

It is a very nice and simple Victorian style hotel (no spa, fitness…), in a calm area very well located, clean, with nice staff. We would definitively return to that hotel for the following reasons: - 100m from the BBC building (that you can visit!), 5mn walk from Oxford Circus, 10mn walk from Sherlock Holmes museum (Baker Street). - Large... The hotel was lovely. Even though there was works being down outside, you could see the modernisation; as well as the Victorian architecture instilled in the building. Although, while the other half was in the bathroom, a cleaner walked in; apparently ringing a bell which we were not told about and did not hear. At 4 o'clock in the afternoon,... More

Perfect location. Staff is very freindly and providing all necessary assistance without any delay. Internec connection is stable and of good quality. Single room is small, but very clean, confortable and providing all necessary facilities for short term staying.
