The hotel is ideally located very close to Oxford Street, Marble Arch and Hyde Park. For those who enjoy walking it is not far from Oxford Circus, Regent Street, Piccadilly and Leicester Square. The hotel's team is quite friendly, from the concierge, the reception until the team serving you breakfast.

I stay here a lot on business as it is close to central line tube and it was getting dated but over last few months they have been steadily improving this hotel both public areas and the rooms. The refurbished rooms are now excellent and even have an espresso machine, which is a really nice touch. staff are brilliant and... More

Just spent a fantastic weekend staying at the Thistle, Marble Arch. The hotel has recently undergone a major refurb & whilst it looks unpromising from the outside it really ticks all the boxes on the inside . The room whilst not massive was decorated & furnished to a very high standard. It was big enough not to feel cramped. The... More

Can't explain how helpful and friendly the staff at thistle are, not to mention how outstanding the hotle itself was. Nothing to was to much for them, everything about the room fitted mine and my boyfriends taste and we even had a meal in the restaurants downstairs, got to say the nicest food I've probably had. Service was quick as... More

I recently stayed at the thistle Marble Arch for my partners birthday! The Irish doorman was very nice and helpful as we're all the staff. The head concierge Paul arranged us with a dinner reservation and tickets for a show! It was perfect, what more do you want than someone to arrange things for you! Nothing seemed a problem for... I have been coming to London regularly over the last 45 yrs. I know this Hotel since it was the Mount Royal. It has always been impressive. The staff is extremely nice and eager to help on the least query. It is only human to make mistakes and sometimes these happen. However the immediate reaction and rectification makes me sure... Myself and my husband stayed here last week at the Thistle Marble Arch. The check in was quick and efficient, the room was spacious, clean and recently renovated. The breakfast was a real let down for me, personally, because I am a coeliac and this hotel does not cater for us ! not a gluten free piece of bread to... More

Convenient, next to Marble Arch tube, Oxford street, recently refurbished to high standards, excellent staff and breakfasts. Got a good price deal too so hope they can maintain that. A few more directions to find room/lifts would be advised, its huge.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
