Just had a fabulous weekend in London. Stayed at Thistle Marble, beautiful hotel, amazing breakfast, perfect location and super polite, helpful and friendly staff. Room was large and comfortable and of a high standard. Will definitely stay there again.

We were going to spend a day shopping in London and I got a voucher for a " sparkling "afternoon tea. so we could finish the day with a drink and relax before returning home. It was a very good choice. The Hotel is situated at the end of Oxford St opposite Primark, the entrance is round the back. Marble... More

Friend and I visited on a voucher for 2 with champagne. Environment sympathetic to art deco roots and very pleasant. Staff very friendly on the whole but could have provided tea a little more promptly. Make sure you get champagne as staff try to give prosecco instead. Sandwiches, scones and pastries just enough and average quality. Served in mis matched... More

* The hotel's location was one of the biggest advantages. * The lobby was very cosy and had enough seats; a small business centre was available there too. * Fast, smooth check-in. * Everything was newly refurbished, nice and clean. * We had 2 standard rooms, one had enough space but the other was cramped after adding the extra bed,... Excellent hotel which has recently been refurbished and, in the case of my room, seems to have bedrooms slightly above normal London sizes. Wall-mounted TV and a rain shower over bath. Complimentary water and capsule coffee machine. Free wifi without a code. Breakfast next morning (from 6.30am) was very good with a very good choice in modern surroundings. Staff were... More

I went for dinner with a friend last Saturday evening. It was sensational atmosphere, the service was outstanding... nothing could be better. We start our evening drinking cocktails at Glenn Miller Bar. It was such a smart and quiet place. I drunk the best Martini Espresso than ever and I have to thank Zoltan that made it... and thanks Istvan... More

My last visit your place in April 2015 with my daughter was wonderful. I'm I stayed your hotel before, but for my daughter's first time. I would like to specify the hotel staff kindness, his politeness and patience with us and especially the warmth that I have no doubt that every hotel guest receives. My daughter was very surprised that... More

For a London hotel the Thistle is reasonably priced and the welcome from the reception staff certainly made a promising start to the stay. The rooms are light, modern and well equipped and noise was minimal even on Oxford street. The let down was the restaurant, a basic cod and chips was cooked with the skin on and not deboned,... Single night stay for a business trip to London. I haven't used this hotel before, as I normally stay at one by the river. The Thistle is conveniently situated round the corner from the tube station. The public areas and rooms are well presented, fresh and contemporary. The room is well equipped for business travel, and a reasonable size for... More

my third stay there in two years, first time for a family visit. great location, few minutes walk from Hyde Park and right there on Oxford street so ideal for shopping and dropping your bags at the hotel to go on and continue shopping. 15minutes walk to Knightsbridge but you can also talk Bus 74 to get there. central location... Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
