Nice hotel and helpful staff. I was allowed early check-in in the hotel. Breakfast was good and a nice spread. I wanted to donate some clothes to Charity and hotel staff organised to send the clothes to Charity organisation. Hi Paul (Paul Walsh, Concierge Section) I am writing this review exclusively for you. You have helped me in a true... More

We went to the Thistle Marble Arch last weekend and it was perfect. The room was very nice and had a great view at Hyde Park. The breakfast was very good and you had a lot to choose from. The girl on the desk was very nice and explaned everything we wanted to know about the hotel and London. Many... More

It was a great experience to stay here. You are at the walking distance to oxford, regent & bond. If the hotel add south indian or sabzi puri in breakfast, it would be a blessing for all Indians. Thanks to Ms. Safaa, who allotted a bigger room which made our stay better.

I stay at this hotel for many years now, sometimes as often as twice a month; I would never change it. Once I could not get a room and had to stay somewhere else but I was so disappointed that after the first night I had to move back into Thistle Marble Arch! Lovely Staff, fantastic rooms, friendly and happy... More

Stayed for one night on business as Radissons were full. Will not stay again if I can avoid it, which is a shame as could've been much better. + comfortable bed; sturdy pillows and bed nice and firm. + clean room, recently refurbished - had to wait 20 mins to check-in and then I was insulted by some Americans who... I'm a returning customer of this hotel since 2003, every time they treat me well, they make me feel home. The rooms are perfectly clean and now that they're stilishly refurbished are even better. The free WiFi works almost every time I need it perfectly. Always available to satisfy guest requests, always kind and considerate. Their restaurant is excellent and... More

Booked afternoon tea as an anniversary treat after a day sightseeing. Hotel is undergoing refurbishment, but the lounge was plush and comfortable. Don't know why other reviewer said there were great views of Oxford Street as the lounge has no windows and is central to the building. The chairs are comfy and the atmosphere is refined elegance. A lovely place... More

Don't tell the doorman you need to go to the airport as they will insist on ordering you their own transport as the Black Cabs are too expensive. Try and use their transport to a local station and surprise surprise non available. Black Cabs available outside, check out the price yourself as it's not half as much as you will... More

Bathroom was so clean and white that we practically had to wear sunglasses. Horrendously early flight time had about 50 of us in the lobby at 4:00 AM! Hotel provided us each with small shopping bags containing breakfast. Our first room was located near a remodeling project but we were immediately relocated without a problem when work began. Terrific staff.... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
