From a distance and on the website the room looked amazing value for money. It was situated in the perfect location for what we wanted to do from day to day. The booking came with complimentary breakfast each morning which we could not fault. They had a full hot/cold buffet and an array of cold and warm drinks. The service... More

So I arrived 1 hour 15 mins early and was able to check in which was great. Room was spotless and very well presented. Location was excellent just next to Earls Court Station with good restaurants around Hotel. Breakfast was served across the road in what I assume is sister hotel and was excellent plenty of choice and staff were... More

Great value for money - yes the bathroom looked a little tired but the room was clean, the bed comfortable plus there was air conditioning too. Loads of complimentary tea and coffee. Would definitely recommend as you are a 2 minute walk from Earls Court Tube station.

Well, I expected another cupboard to stay in when I booked this hotel, like any other budget hotel in London Zone 1. However, though the room wasn't large, it wasn't overtly cramped. The bathroom had a proper bathtub, which is a luxury in this category. Though, come to think of it, it is slightly higher priced that the other such... More

This hotel was great value for money. Single rooms in London are generally awful! They are tiny, old and expensive! This hotel, however, was excellent value, still fairly small but lovely and nicely furnished. The bathroom was big enough for a bath! This is unheard of in most places. Also had tea and coffee making facilities. No in room wifi... More

We were a bit anxious about this hotel after reading the reviews, but we remained open minded. We had a lovely stay, the hotel was nice and clean. Well decorated and comfortable. Staff were helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was very nice having both cooked and continental and a fresh choice of eggs. We thought it was good value for... More

No reception, No Wifi, broken shower, broken TV. There version of a double bed is literally two single pushed together, no double duvet but two singles. Rooms are tiny. And staff that have no customer service skills at all. Would have had a better experience from the Premier Inn next door. And for this it is seriously over priced.

2 minutes walk from subway station. Central London is about 10 minutes by the subway. Rooms are small, but OK. Wifi only in the lobby. Plenty of dining opportunities around. Staff very helpful. Would stay there again!

We stayed in this hotel New Year's Eve, and although we realised that the price would be higher due to its location and the date, we were epecting something which reflected the '4 Stars' that were advertised to us. The room was tiny, but that's not an issue, we were only using it for a place to crash after the... More

We stayed here for 3 nights, must say it is very poor. The reception is in one building, restaurant is across the road, and our room was way down the road. Not very convenient, especially in bad weather. We arrived Saturday, booked a room with a double bed. Given a room with twin beds. After a walk to reception, we... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
