Stayed here for one night for what was supposed to be a treat for my wife's birthday. One night was too long!! Reception on entrance appeared really nice, that's as good as it gets believe me. We booked a deluxe double room which in all honesty trading standards should look into this as there's no way on earth it can... More

I stayed at this hotel for the first time this week. I booked a single for the week. I found the room to be very modern, clean and comfortable. The en suite was small as you would expect in a single in London but it was not small enough to be ridiculous and was very practical. The shower was good... More

We are a couple and we stayed for a weekend. Overall very happy with the room and the stuff. We liked the bathroom which was nice and clean, the location which is very convenient and close to two tube stations (we preferred Earl's Court Station), the breakfast, which was actually better than expected! We also liked the fact that they... More

Comfortable little hotel for a short stay, but we were there for 2 weeks and found it very cramped. Our room had very little room around the bed and you could sit on the toilet to brush your teeth. Pretty much you were struggling to stand to dry yourself when you got out of the shower due to the lack... More

I've booked with booking.com: 3 night. I asked for a triple room and I had a very small room with an only bad with 3 places: I had to sleep very close to my friends, not separatly. The picture they published in the web site, instead, showed 3 separated beds. We were in the basement: cold and wet all day.... More

High points for location, staff, and breakfast. Poor marks for room Size, wifi, and maintenance(Had to report hot water issue, and later a blown circuit leaving us in the dark. In both cases the staff responded quickly, but it is hardly acceptable to have electricity and hot water interrupted.

Great location on quiet neighborhood. Small, but clean rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful. This hotel is quite good choice if you have few nights stay in london. There is excellent pubs nearby and foodmarket just behind corner.

Just came back from a long weekend from London. Booked the hotel via eBookers along side with the plane tickets as it was medium priced with a good location, also some of the reviews were good and I was hoping the bad reviews were just bad luck or demanding customers.. Well the location is good I can attest to that,... More

This hotel was an upgrade through a tour company for our stay from 11/23/15 - 11/29/15 in room 321. Lobby is okay. Breakfast was included but i considered marginal in selection and taste. The room was very small. My daughter had to put her suitcase on the desk top and I took the desk chair and placed my suitcase on... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
