The shower was tiny, with a shower curtain, as soon as the water hit it, it clung to your butt. As soon as you turned around the curtain opened and sprayed more water on the floor than in the shower. This was evident it happens to everyone, as the bottom of the bathroom door was water damaged, there was no... More

No doubt this is a bad hotel. We paid 230 GBP for 2 nights but they offered me a basement little room with window facing a wall and a small TV ( I guess 16 inches). They charged me 5 GBP for temporally storage my baggage that no other hotel ever did. wifi is only available in the lobby area... More

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed on. Honestly, the Marriot Hotel is a block away, same price, and rooms are a lot bigger, cleaner and amazing staff. Where to start. I enter, they gave me my room and I went to the elevator to go to the 4th floor. As soon as the doors open there is... More

Having read the terrible reviews for this hotel, I wasn't expecting much. When we arrived we were told although we had paid in full in advance there was no twin room for us and were offered a transfer to a 'better' hotel for one night. We declined as we had an early day trip planned and were offered two single... More

We stayed at the Ambassador Hotel for 4 nights and we felt that the double room was very small, to the point that it was difficult to walk around both sides of the bed. They had a mirror in the room, but no stool or chair so doing make-up or hair was difficult. The reception area was very nice, and... More

You may have looked through some of the reviews on this page and seen how poorly rated they have been, well, in a way you can see what they are on about, but for goodness sake if you want luxury go to the Rits! We were greeted at reception by a lady who wasn't English but spoke the language perfectly... More

When we arrived the outside and reception looked promising. The customer service was good but thats were the positives ended. I asked about Wifi and was told we had to pay for it, no complimentary service.. Every other hotel we had stayed at throughout our entire trip (4 weeks) had free Wifi. Thats whats annoying to say the least as... More

Stayed here for 1 night - from the outside and reception we thought this would be quite nice, but we were wrong ! As soon as we walked into our room we could smell a musty smell, the bottom of the door frame in the bathroom was wet and breaking down, and the carpet outside the bathroom was wet. When... More

Stayed 1 night in July 2014 as part of Red Letter Day Hotel/Show gift. The show was great. The hotel wasn't. It looks very nice from photos and from outside and inside on the ground floor. Our cupboard was on 4th floor, seemed like heating was on full blast in the corridor but radiators were cold!!! The double bed was... More
