The room was clean and in a good location. We arrived from NZ at 7am and the hotel charged us to hold our bags until check in. They were generally rude and unhelpful when asking about the area, transport etc. The room was so small we had to have our bags closed and standing upright or we could not open... More

Budget Style Hotel, very flash from the outside, nice lobby, very friendly staff, and nice bar area downstairs, very inviting on first glace. Then you get upstairs and its an entirely different story, No Air conditioning, Very small and stuffy hallways, Then comes the shock of the prison cell they want you to call a room. No room for bags,... More

After reading some of the negative reviews here, I was a little wary of booking this place, but I needn't have worried. I've stayed all over London, in nice places and terrible ones and this was a great choice.I got it for a steal on lastminute, and at the price we paid, it was a really good deal. It's about... More

The attitude of the reservations and reception staff is appalling. I pre-booked and prepaid for a room with a corporate card. Reception agreed to action it immediately. The hotel did not action the prepayment and two weeks later, the weekend before arrival, they email (and receive an out of office) to say it did not work, oddly no proof of... More

We travelled to the UK for 3 weeks. This was the worst hotel we stayed in. Very small room, no hot water, terrible food and staff who didn't care. I have a garden shed that is bigger than the room we stayed in.

The shower was tiny, with a shower curtain, as soon as the water hit it, it clung to your butt. As soon as you turned around the curtain opened and sprayed more water on the floor than in the shower. This was evident it happens to everyone, as the bottom of the bathroom door was water damaged, there was no... More

No doubt this is a bad hotel. We paid 230 GBP for 2 nights but they offered me a basement little room with window facing a wall and a small TV ( I guess 16 inches). They charged me 5 GBP for temporally storage my baggage that no other hotel ever did. wifi is only available in the lobby area... More

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed on. Honestly, the Marriot Hotel is a block away, same price, and rooms are a lot bigger, cleaner and amazing staff. Where to start. I enter, they gave me my room and I went to the elevator to go to the 4th floor. As soon as the doors open there is... More

Having read the terrible reviews for this hotel, I wasn't expecting much. When we arrived we were told although we had paid in full in advance there was no twin room for us and were offered a transfer to a 'better' hotel for one night. We declined as we had an early day trip planned and were offered two single... More

We stayed at the Ambassador Hotel for 4 nights and we felt that the double room was very small, to the point that it was difficult to walk around both sides of the bed. They had a mirror in the room, but no stool or chair so doing make-up or hair was difficult. The reception area was very nice, and... More
