Our first priority is always cleanliness, and this hotel is excellent for that. The public areas, bedroom and bath are all kept very clean. The room was quite small, with 2 twin beds taking up about 90% of the floor space. The bath was modern, with tub and shower and plenty of hot water. Front desk staff was friendly, responsive... I recently stayed here for three nights. PROS: - The rooms were clean, and the bathroom was in very good shape. - The hotel was extremely convenient to two different Tube stations, only a 10 minute walk from each. - There were several restaurants close by, as well as coffee shops and a convenience store. - The front desk staff... Hi, I live in Earls Court and made a booking via booking.com for one night in the hotel for my girlfriend. I requested high floor and was given a room in the basement floor B6. I requested a twin bed and was given a room with twin beds covered with one double sheet, so the twin beds was made as... More

If you're staying in London as a special treat and want something upmarket and luxurious, probably not the best place to come. However, we simply wanted somewhere to rest our heads, have a wash and use as a leap pad to explore London and this was perfect. We paid £44 in the week prior to arrival and am blown away... More

Very nice hotel room for the small price I paid. Have stayed in a lot worse for more money. And great location in Kensington :) I thought the wifi was free tho as advertised thru the website when I booked. Still would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at the Ambassadors on New Years Eve and found the hotel met our expectations. The price was high (to be expected on one of London's busiest nights of the year) but not as high as some hotels we looked at. The rooms were adequately furnished if somewhat small. The location is only 5minutes walk from Gloucester Road tube... More

First time to London so booked through travel agent. Checked the website and rooms looked great. The lobby is well decorated. While waiting to check in overheard conversation with manager and plumber about water contamination in the tanks and lab results, not good. After checking in I received a tiny, narrow room with small cot which was covered in a... More

This hotel you get what you pay for. If your looking for 5* everything it's not its a cheap and cheerful hotel with all amenities needed for a few nights! The staff weren't English so some language confusion but it's a short walk from Earl's Court tube station easy to find.

Stayed 4 nights there because of the price (still pricey) for the price I expected a proper functioning hotel. The website claimed that it is a 4 star establishment. DO NOT BELIEVE THIS. It is 2 star maybe pushing 2.5 tops. Absolutely cramped when we get there. Shower consisted of a square area able to fit one person standing and... More

My first ever visit and must say was pleasantly surprised for London at £100 per night this is very good indeed. Pleasant room, modern, clean, good power shower. Tea, coffee making facilities. All in all it was great. Plus very convenient for Euston/Kings Cross/ St Pancras.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
