Pros- we arrived about 9am local time, check in wasn't until 3 or 4pm. The front desk clerk was so friendly, and completely understanding of us having traveled such a long distance, and accommodated us into a room within about 30-45 minutes. She was also very helpful in helping us find the best tour around for the cost. Breakfast was... More

As in other reviews the rooms are small but we, my friend and I managed ok as we were there for just 2 nights. Might have been a problem if we had bigger cases though. Initially we were put in a basement room which did not have any windows, so very claustrophobic. We asked for another room and they did... More

Typical city hotel. Nice toiletries, linen etc and Nespresso machine. But very small room. I know that's par for the course, but is still get irritated by it. Reception staff friendly and very handy location. Comfy bed.

Very small rooms. Clean. Friendly staff. Great location. You can leave your luggage for a fee of £5.00. We didn't have breakfast I hotel so I can't comment on the food. It was a little noisy but didn't stop us from sleeping would definitely go back.

Booked for 1 night because the hotel location was close to the venue I was attending that night. 1st impressions on entering the hotel was of a modern well presented lobby, bar and sitting area, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in was easy and direction to my roon were clear and easy to follow, the room was... More

Hotel photos on site are deceiving, rooms are nothing like that. Foyer was lovely but when the lift door opened my heart sank. The corridors smelled musty door frames battered ,looked awful. Our room had a large bed so not much room to move around. Lighting a disaster and in the weirdest place right over the wardrobe. Just as well I'm... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed at this hotel for a break. She booked it online after getting a good quote. The lobby and reception was very smart and modern with a nice choice of food and drink behind bar. The pictures do not match the actual room but overall was ver nice and the staff were polite and helpfull. As... More

Stayed here on business and the location is good but the room was poor, especially given I was upgraded. You go down into the basement and walk through a maze of passages to find your room and then its pretty disappointing. Strange 3 bed set up (the 3 bears!) and no view (see pic) other than laundry and extractors. Bar... More

The staff's politeness and friendly behaviour was the most likeable about the hotel. It's nearness to earl's court and Gloucester road tube stations was an additional benefit. The food at the coffee shop was average. over all it was ok experience.

Stayed here with a friend and my Mother and Aunt for the Festival of Remembrance. First that was some of the staff struggled to understand English, had to show my ID in the end to get the name right. The room though small was good, simple and just enough for a one night quick stop over. The shower was weak.... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
