I did not expect much given that this hotel is really inexpensive for London. As I needed to book last minute this jumped out and I have to say for one night it was ok. The staff member at the desk gave me their first available room at about 12.00 noon which was a great help. Reception area and lobby... More

The room is so small that you cannot move without "crashing" into furniture. The bathroom is tiny. The service is very poor: you have to pay for everything: internet costs 1£ per hour and 5£ a day and the connection is too slow, continental breakfast costs 10£ and the choice of food is so limited and luggage storage costs 5£.... I booked this hotel as I was having a big night out nearby. The first room they gave us was without natural daylight so we asked to change which they immediately did. The next room was fine, nothing fancy there was some noise but it's a busy hotel. Fine for a short stay.

I have medical needs and hotel would not accept my medical delivery day before my arrival which was on a Saturday. Room services sketchy some days not available until 4:00 or 5:00. I was ill during my stay, locked out of my room and had staff member watch me crawl into my room without any assistance from them. Staff enters... More

I had read a lot of the reviews before arriving at this hotel, so i was ready for my wife's nagging on how small the rooms where. You guys were right on the money, these rooms are very small and kinda "oh well" this is London for the money. The staff was OK, no problems and the local was excellent.... More

The staff were OK, however there was verbal abuse and door slamming from a member of the team whilst I sat in the bar. Feelings were certainly not contained. The single room was hot, the case only just opened between the bed and cupboard. The bathroom mouldy with swollen timber. the shower disgusting, loose tiles, mouldy curtain and TINY... nothing... I don't normally write poor reviews on here as I have worked in hospitality before and now how important reviews are to a costumer but I felt this time it was necessary. The price and location of the hotel is excellent but you definitely get what you expect from the price. It is possibly the noisiest hotels I've ever stayed... More

I'm returning to London in the next month. I stayed at this hotel four years ago. I experienced pretty much what others with poor reviews have. Mouldy smelly room on arrival. That was changed. Staff couldn't have cared less, very slow service. We were able to check in earlier - one bonus. We had a room at the side with... More

The room was clean and in a good location. We arrived from NZ at 7am and the hotel charged us to hold our bags until check in. They were generally rude and unhelpful when asking about the area, transport etc. The room was so small we had to have our bags closed and standing upright or we could not open... More

Budget Style Hotel, very flash from the outside, nice lobby, very friendly staff, and nice bar area downstairs, very inviting on first glace. Then you get upstairs and its an entirely different story, No Air conditioning, Very small and stuffy hallways, Then comes the shock of the prison cell they want you to call a room. No room for bags,... More
